I have been going to this clinic for ever five years. I was happy with them until my last med review. I was set up with a doctor who’s office is in Las Vegas. Huh? Why am I t asking to someone who is not even located in the Seattle area? When I asked to have a prescription refilled she said I didn’t need it. I called the office to complain and got an answering service. Huh? They don’t answer the phone during business hours? I was able to get one refill after complaining but now they will not refill again and will not return my calls or messages sent on their Klara messaging service. Time to find a new sleep doctor.

A few years ago, they were a helpful and professional practice. Very disappointed to say that it has been a poor experience recently and we will no longer see them. One doctor is great, not sure if he’s even there anymore. Recent appointment was with someone who referred to outdated studies and junk science without following up on previous plans the prior provider had made or considering current medical issues. If you have a straightforward sleep issue, loads of patience, and tolerance for repeated miscommunication, this could be a good place for you. Otherwise, I recommend you look elsewhere. So bummed- they used to be great and I don’t know what happened. Major staff changes?

The providers at Sound Sleep Health constantly no longer work here so appointment are constantly rescheduled and always rescheduled a month out. This causes treatment to not be received. I did the sleep study and the provider falsely documented that I was prescribed a prescription. I finally called to ask why I never received any treatment. They said that provider no longer works here. Then I had to wait a month to get an appointment for a prescription. Finally got a prescription thats too low of a dose to work but guess what, my followup was rescheduled because that provider no longer works here. So again, Im not receiving proper treatment. I have to wait another month for a new provider who will probably end up no longer working there bumping my appointment out another month. I do not recommend this place AT ALL.

Did not feel listened to at all to the point I felt my experiences and statements and intake questionnaire were ignored entirely, and they misdiagnosed me because of this. Left this clinic feeling worse about myself and sleep issues and without any helpful solutions. Go somewhere else!

Dr. Gupta is hands down the best sleep doctor you can go to! I felt heard by her and even though we met virtually, she was very friendly and explained my test results thoroughly. She helped make the whole process of doing the sleep test and going over the results so easy. Thank you again. If you decide to go through Sound Sleep Health, I do recommend them as everything is coordinated very well. The only hiccup I saw was my follow up appointment initially was with a different doctor and I contacted them and they fixed it immediately. Not a huge deal since it got fixed right away but just something the company should be aware of with making sure patients have the same doctor from initial consult to follow up. :)

Initially, I had a positive experience with one of their practitioners, but she has since left the practice. Their communication has aways been wanting, managing appointments is painful but I tolerated it for the care. Since she left, the care has been sub par. Most recently, I had an uncomfortable conversation about concealed carry rights? and jesus? that I did not willingly enter into. They have been unsupportive of pursuing alternatives to CPAP and scheduled an appointment which I did not wish to have. I would pursue alternative providers unless this is your only option.

[review adjusted to remove references to billing confusion]My original doctor apparently left the practice between my initial appointment and my followup, and it was clear the new doctor had not read my file before logging on to see me. I know this because he actually shared his screen and read through my file and study results for the first time while I was on the video call, asking me basic questions the whole time (ex. how many hours a night do you sleep?) The doctor was kind and sympathetic but it felt more like an introductory consultation than a conclusive followup.I received no diagnosis--the doctor said there was something clearly wrong with me but he had no idea what it was. He suggested I try sleeping in longer in the mornings.

I was told an EEG sleep study would be $600, but the bill was over $1,600 for a self-administered, in-home test. I was pressured to also do a CPAP study, despite having zero symptoms indicating that such a thing would be valuable for me. I had to firmly decline the CPAP test to move along with the care provider. For a follow-up visit to review the EEG study, the provider was late to the online appointment, was not the one who prepared the summary of the study, and had not reviewed the study prior to the call. The majority of our shortened time was her reading the summary out loud to herself word-for-word with little analysis or explanation to me. She also advised a sleep book on Amazon. Before the next follow up, visit I was informed there was a change in provider. At that point, I had enough of this negative experience and declined to proceed further. All in all, it was a waste of time and a waste of a lot of money, on what appears to be a business that operates on selling sleep tests and CPAP machines.

Let me describe my experience from beginning. I find their phone number on the internet in March. I call in, and it doesnt call the office directly but instead to some contracted company across the globe. This is normally fine, but the contracted company couldnt tell me the rates. This is already a pretty big red flag, but whatever, I was desperate so I went on with it. I had one virtual appointment in April for around 30 minutes, which went fine. Some other employee at SSH told me theyd charge my insurance, so I didnt get a bill for it, so I didnt think much about it. They wanted to do a sleep study, but I didnt want to go pick up the items so I didnt do follow up. Almost 3 months later, I get a message saying that I have overdue balance of nearly $250. So the rate was $250 for 30 minutes, which... okay, medical expenses are expensive. But like I was never quoted a rate, was told theyll charge my insurance, and now 3 months later they finally send me a bill saying its overdue. I dont think I was charged a fee for being overdue, but this whole experience left such a bad taste. All of the experience except for maybe the appointment itself were such a disaster.

Ive been with SSH for 6 years. Ive had a CPAP for 18 years. I really like Doctor M. But my recent virtual appointments have been rough. I tried to explain what was happening. The assistant doing my yearly check up. Just kept pushing more procedures and follow-up visit and didnt actually listen to what I felt was the concern. I went along with her recommendations and did a full in person overnight study. At the follow up meeting with her the outcome was exactly like I tried to explain it might be at my yearly appt. Again she didnt listen to what I was saying and just pushed more procedures with more follow up visit. Now Im just ignoring the calls and emails.

I was told by the nice lady at the desk that the sleep study is $450 and I have to pay that so I did. I went through the process and was prescribed CPAP. Their sources for the CPAP were extremely expensive so I sourced on on my own at 1/3 the cost originally quoted and it was for the same device. They quoted me $780 up front and $98 per month for nine months. I purchased the CPAP online for $649. They called me to ask if I got the CPAP and I told them that I got one already. I then got a bill for over $2000 for the sleep study. That sleep study was paid for up front as I originally stated. There is no way that the sleep study costs that much. They are trying to rip me off because they didnt get the sale on the CPAP.

I filled out the extensive questionnaire online on my phone and submitted it. They said they didnt have it so I went into the office and spent another hour filling out the questionnaire in person and leaving it with the office.I then got a call right before my appointment to say they didnt have the information and I explained I went in person and filled it out.When I got online with the zoom appointment with the Doctor she had no information and the summery had no information.They sent me a email request for how my appointment went and said if I had any problem call so they could make it right. When I called the number they couldnt take my call. So heres the review. I dont know if anything will get resolved with my health as that still is in process but as far as I can see they are very disorganized with the intake process.

All of the providers and staff are great. My frustration is with how they run the office and the systems they use. I can never speak to a person when I call. I have leave a voice message and wait to be called back or go through the patient portal to send a message. There are so many different platforms that they use, such as klara, athena, doxy, etc. Its very confusing. Also I cannot get connected with the provider through doxy. Just wish it was easier to have an appointment or get answers to questions via phone.

If I could give this place less than one star, I would. Stay away! Singularly the most frustrating experience I have ever had with a doctors office. I chose the SSH clinic a couple of months ago because they offered telehealth. I met online with Dr. Gupta and she referred me to a medical equipment company for my cpap equipment. Then the weirdness began. It turned out that I was unable to set up an appointment with the medical equipment company because Sound Sleep Health failed to send the proper documentation to the company. I called, texted, and emailed at least twice a week for over two months to both the medical equipment company and to Sound Sleep Health. The medical equipment company enlisted their high level executive to talk to SSH, and they reached out weekly. The head doctor there promised to send the correct information, but never did. The medical equipment company (Performance in Redmond) was awesome and sympathetic, but Sound Sleep health refused to comply. It turned out that Dr. Gupta didnt even take medical notes. or if she did, they were somehow lost in their clinic. Just know, It is impossible to get a response from their Klara system (text and message), and they use their voicemail like a shield - you cant reach a human, and messages left via any platform go unanswered. Heres a pro tip: the ONLY way you can reach someone is to call their billing department because they prioritize billing over everything else, including patient care. So, this lack of communication went on and on, but my ace in the hole was going to be my 2 month follow up appointment with Dr. Gupta. Previously I had left numerous messages for her, with no response; I even contacted the clinic to see if she still worked there, but never got an answer. But call me an optimist. Despite everything that went down, I still looked forward to the follow up appointment because I figured that I would have her full attention and could get to the bottom of why they wouldnt/couldnt send the proper information to Performance Medical. So, over the weekend, I get a confirmation email for my appointment, but somehow they had switched me e to a different doctor. I figured it was a typo on the reminder, but no. At 1:30 pm Monday a new doctor appears on my screen. He didnt know me, hadnt read my medical file and had no clue to why he was even there. That was the last straw for me. I called the billing department and of course they answered. I told them that I will do everything in my power to prevent them for billing for the 3 minute appointment with the unknown and unknowing doctor. I have full insurance coverage, so theres nothing out of pocket for me, but I will make darn sure that my insurance doesnt pay either, if I have anything to do with it. Please stay away. There are tons of better clinics associated with hospitals in the area.

My experience with Dr. Younger of Sound Sleep was harmful. I will preface this by saying that I am a healthcare advocate and know what care providers should and should not say to patients/clients. He did not look through my paperwork thoroughly before or even during my appointment, belittled my experiences that have contributed to sleep issues, and basically surmised that my BMI was the main reason I am having sleep issues-- instead of looking through pages of information that explained life trauma.I knew he was a joke when he said eat less and exercise more while smiling. Blaming BMI instead of getting a whole person picture is NOT adequate care anymore. We are not in the 1960s.When I told the receptionist after the call about my experience and asked them to just remove me from the care here, the receptionist said this was not the first time had heard these complaints and would be passing the feedback along to management. While I trust it will get there, if there have been previous complaints and this doctor is still employed-- there are deeper issues at play here that need to be addressed.Very disappointed with this care, and will not be returning.

Extremely disorganized, almost nothing gets communicated properly between people and it leads to constant rehashing of information. Doctor didnt even get my name right during the zoom call calling me some random name not even close. Every time I was told Id be called later i never was and had to reach out myself. Near the end of the care i was again told id be contacted later once they looked at my insurance and could figure out how they wanted to proceed. Four days later i get a text saying Ive been given a prescription. No call, no communication of any kind. They do at the very least actually know what they are talking about medically speaking, but the clearly severe lack of communication is making care rather poor. They probably need to implement slack or something similar to help bring commutation together but as it stands currently i would look elsewhere

I was so excited for my appointment with Dr. Gellar, but was left feeling like it was a waste of time. I worked shift work for almost 10 years and finally started working a normal schedule, but my sleep was taking forever to adjust and it was really starting to effect my mood and my work. I was hoping to get some insight about what I could be doing to help expedite the process and when it might improve. I went into great detail in the questionnaire, but it seemed like she didnt even read it because I had to explain it all again. She really didnt ask much about it, did my H&P, and then concluded I probably have sleep apnea and explained why she thought that, even though I fully believe it didnt make any sense based on what was going on. When I told her that my problems werent happening every single night and that there were some nights where I was able to get a mostly full night of sleep, she suggested taking half an Ambien when I was waking up in the middle of the night and unable to go back to sleep. This was also not a good option for me because I cant take a powerful hypnotic at 2am and expect to be awake at 5:30am for 12 hours of work. Overall it seemed like she completely ignored the fact that I was working abnormal hours for nearly a decade, only cared about trying to get me to do a sleep study, and only backtracked when I said it wasnt happening every night. I opted not to do a sleep study or take Ambien, nor go back for a follow up, and Im glad I didnt because my sleep has naturally started to regulate. Had I done the sleep study, I could have been told I had sleep apnea and had to wear a CPAP for the rest of my life (Im in my 30s). Oh, and she asked if I had any recent weight gain and when I said yes and told her how much, she said, Thats a lot. First of all, thanks for so bluntly pointing that out. Not only did I find this unprofessional for someone who I just met five minutes before, but it also isnt more than anyone else has gained in the last year. If my sleep continued to be a problem, I had every intention of going somewhere else.

The process of returning the equipment and the follow up appointment went smooth. The intereaction with the Doctor in the follow up was very cordial and friendly. I had high hopes for my appointment with Dr. Gellar but I left the appointment disappointed. After filling out a lengthy questionnaire, it was clear that the doctor had never bothered to read it. Then within five minutes of chatting, the doctor told me that based on the fact that I dont sleep a lot at night that Im going to ..die early. Then I was told to look into dirty electricity in my home. Throughout the tele-appointment I was put on hold so Dr. Gellar could attend to other things. This made me feel like I wasnt important and she felt very distracted.I would never recommend anyone go to this doctor. Complete waste of my time and money.

Great experience. My husband I both met with the doctor Gandis G. Mazeika, MD. He was kind and helpful. The interactions I had with the clinic staff over the phone and the scheduler Michael were great too. The clinic has it set up so that you can do everything online. I was able to sign all paperwork and pay my co pay online prior to appointment. I would definitely recommend!!

Highly recommended. Ive been working with them for a year (throughout the COVID-19 lockdown) and have no complaints at all. The in-home sleep study was simple and straightforward, but also comprehensive. Dr. Mazeika was very open and helpful with the results, and the treatment has completely changed my life. I wish Id done this 20 years ago.Id recommend trying a sleep study (and with Sound Sleep Health in particular) to anyone whos thinking about it. Especially if people say you snore or if youre still groggy when you wake up.

This place takes customer (patient) service to a new level. The front desk is professional, friendly, attentive and competent. My sleep specialist, Birgit Weeks, makes you feel like youre her only patient and listens to your concerns with compassion and support. She shows genuine interest in my issues. I left feeling great confidence that she will get to the root of my sleep problem and offer customized solutions in a holistic manner. The technician did a great job of explaining how to use the testing equipment for my sleep study. Overall, Im so impressed and feel optimistic that I will be feeling myself in no time!

I am a new patient at Sound Sleep Health, under the care of Violet Robb, MSN, ARNP, FNPC. I am quite impressed by her knowledge and the level of interest she took in my treatment; she is quite thorough and took the time to collect and discuss my medical history much more deeply than I am accustomed to from healthcare providers - I consider this to be a strong indication of the seriousness and conscientiousness with which she conducts her practice.Throughout my initial appointment, she identified a number of different factors that are or may be affecting my sleep, suggested a number of treatment options moving forward that may improve my sleep health and provide her with data to use for my future course of treatment, and encouraged me to coordinate with my other healthcare providers in specific, concrete ways to address issues not directly related to sleep that are possibly affecting my sleep. She was also quite knowledgeable regarding other resources in my geographic area. I was also impressed by her bedside manner (for lack of a better phrase) - I felt like she took the time to listen and and to engage with empathy and compassion. I never felt rushed or interrupted and I feel that all of my concerns were taken seriously. I left the appointment feeling that she truly cares about her patients.I am also impressed with the capability and efficiency of the administrative side of the office. Trying to find a provider and schedule an appointment as a new patient is invariably more complicated than the process becomes once one is established with a provider. With Sound Sleep Health, this process felt streamlined, straightforward, and efficient - doubly impressive in this time of COVID and the switch to remote paperwork and telehealth. They were able to schedule an appointment for me quite promptly and everything from the initial contact and scheduling through the paperwork and the telehealth logistics were easy and streamlined.So far, I have a strongly favorable opinion of Violet Robb and of Sound Sleep Health in general; I look forward to continuing as her patient.

Sound Sleep Health always makes me feel comfortable while I’m waiting to be seen. I like being able to enjoy a cup of coffee. The sleep study rooms are nice. The only thing that troubles me is that the chairs and couch are too big for me to sit comfortably. I can’t sit upright in them because I’m too short. However, all of the techs are always very polite to me.

I am disappointed with the staff. They did not call me back as they promised to make confirmation about the device reservations. I could not reach them for one week. I left three voice messages without any responses. Then after a couple of weeks, I was able to contact them and set an appointment for picking up the device. When I came to pick it up, the lady said that they dont have any available at the moment. Its a one hour drive for me. And now, I have to go there again. CRAZY!!!!

Dr Mazeika is a caring and knowledgeable provider, and the clinic is so nice and clean. This is great facility, they really listen to you and I think they actually care about the patients.Some of the reviews mention their billing system is dishonest, I didn’t find this to be true. They were very clear about costs before my appointment, and advised me to contact my insurance company to get a more accurate estimate. After completing a sleep study, my bill was only $20, less than I expected.

COMPLETELY dishonest billing. DO NOT pay a cent until you have a bill, not even your copay. Seen today and was told I had a balance. Had recently moved and figured I had lost a bill in forwarding as I hadnt seen one recently. AFTER paying the $90 balance and them adding on a $20 copay they mention that it was service in December... funny, I wasnt seen in December. Also not right - I dont have a copay. Turns out - fully explained by them - they billed me for my rental fee, which is paid by my insurance. Oh we havent gotten that back from them yet, dont worry, it will just be a credit on your account. Um..... seriously?!? I asked for a refund and was told a pretty hard no. I will of coarse now have to be watching for that statement like crazy while my $110 is building interest in their account. Is this even legal??? Who do I report this to??

My husband has been going there for years. They have been very rude to him. They are not helpful at all when you call in with billing questions.We received a bill in the mail for a time my husband wasnt even seen. One of the ladies in billing told us it was a mistake it was for a guy with the same name as my husbands and fixed it.Well once again it happened, this time they sent it to collection. We have tried to fight it for the days they are saying, we were out of town on a family outing.My point is they are a thief do not trust them watch your bills. We have moved on to a different clinic that is trustworthy.

Provided/gathered a to of info very efficiently and set me up with the appropriate next steps in treatment so I didnt have to leave worried about following up. I would like to start off by saying that this would be a 5 star rating if it was purely based on the quality of service you receive from the providers; the issue stems from a total lack of accountability starting with the office manager at the Kirkland location. As mentioned in previous reviews the billing is questionable and when you call the billing department ( which is farmed out to a company in Texas) they are never there and never return your phone calls. With regards to the office manager I have left her a total of 17 messages since 12/20/2017 with not one phone call back; this morning I went to the Kirkland office and asked for a complete copy of my medical record and to let them know I would be changing providers due to the lack of follow up and customer service. After this visit I surprisingly received a phone call back from the billing department stating to me that they heard I was trying to get in touch with them; when I asked why it has taken three months all they could say was sorry. In summary; great providers but terrible billing and office manager.

Ive been seeing Dr. Mazeika for at least 6 years now and Ive never been disappointed. Hes a super nice man, who actually really cares about your well-being and is a careful listener. I have a very complicated problem, so 2 other sleep docs gave up, but he never has, and enjoys finding the root of the problem. Ive had 5 sleep studies at the Northgate location thats now closed so I cant describe my experience at this location but at Northgate, they were all very professional and had comfortable beds, and surroundings. I highly recommend him and his staff!

DO NOT USE SOUND SLEEP HEALTH. You’re literallly better off just buying a CPAP yourself online. I was charged for MONTHS for a unit my insurance paid for. They’ve sent me to collection and are now refusing to help me with my file. NOT TRUSTWORTHY, SHADY BUSINESS TACTICS.
