Dr. Armitano is a compassionate, competent doctor who has the unfortunate position of being in a system with no internet presence. It is not possible to contact him or anyone else in the office by email. Everything must be done by phone. His initial workup and recommendations were thorough and precise. When the medication he prescribed didnt work, it took three weeks to replace it. Autonomic testing results were never shared with the referring doctor or any other doctor that requested them afterwards.

Absolutely horrible front desk staff. I’ve been working with Armitano for the last few months. I got my diagnosis and then Dr Armitano’s assistant Debbie never responds to emails or phone calls. Other office staff just pass the buck and nobody seems to want to find any answers to simple questions (like confirming the address of the pharmacy my prescriptions were sent to) It often takes 3-4 weeks to get any information from them - I nearly lost my job because of Debbie’s delayed response getting me return to work authorizations. So frustrating to deal with this incompetence when getting diagnosed with an ANS disorder at all is hard enough.

We havent seen Dr Armatano yet, but his office staff is ridiculously rude and incompetent. It look four phone calls over 10 days to get a call back just to schedule an appointment. Two weeks later I still have not received the paperwork that was to be sent. If Dr. Armatano wasnt specifically recommended to me we would be looking somewhere else.

After reading such negative reviews of the front office staff, I was hesitant to approach them with my desperate, need for a last minute referral. Dont believe everything you read. They gratiously, efficiently and cheerfully assisted me with getting an appointment and expedited the process of garnering a referral for insurance purposes. So grateful. Thank you for helping me out. They went above and beyond.

I was recently diagnosed with POTS at Mayo Clinic in Arizona, but I live in Washington and needed to find someone in the NW to manage my condition. After seeing SO many specialists and emergency room doctors over the last year who knew nothing about POTS and who mostly did not take my symptoms seriously, Dr. Armitano was a complete blessing. He spent 80 minutes with me, listening to my health journey and never once questioning my mental health or mentioning anxiety (which until now has been usual response I get when seeing a provider unfamiliar with POTS). He outlined a very clear treatment plan for me going forward, and I left with a very detailed summary and plan to take back to my local healthcare team. Dr. Armitano gave me hope, validation, and knowledge to move forward in this next phase of my life, and I am incredibly grateful.

The most professionally capable physician I have ever met. His is a calm persona and runs his office that way as well. He is focused on the patient fully and is highlighted by his body language and other subtle queues that indicate he is at all times interested AND examining his patients! I am especially confident in his explanation of my diagnosis and uses bullet points to formulate a well written summary of your visit! We are in superior hands with this gentle soul and competent physician. A rare find for our era of sloppy, greed ridden and judgemental physicians!

I transferred my case, with its 12-year-thick file, to Dr. Armitano after his colleague Dr. Singer retired. At the first appointment, his knowledge of my history was so extensive that it was as if he had been my doctor all along! Most impressive. And I have had no problems with him personally or with his staff. But I did have to cancel (via message) an appointment today with only two hours notice, so well see how it goes after that.Update: They were lovely about the cancellation. Fortunately, they were able to offer my appointment to an emergency caller.

Wow! I didnt really believe the previous negative review about the staff until just now. I had to call them to request a prescription refill and I dont think I have ever been spoken to so rudely by any business (including auto shops and thats saying a lot). Dr. Armitano is fine but I agree his staff alone should make you think twice and look elsewhere.
