Basically paid $200 for a root touch up. This was my third disappointing appointment. I recently moved to the area and was willing to give this salon a solid try as I understand it takes some time to get to know new clients. I was hoping the third try was the charm, but I was just left feeling over charged for a root touch up and a trim. My appointment was for roots and all over color and a trim of the ends. I had showed her the color I wanted which was about two shades lighter of copper than my current shade and not true red. I left with the EXACT same color as I came in and up charged for all kind of clear shine coats promised to increase vibrancy. It did not. The only good thing I can say is that it at least covered my roots. The explanation I was given at the end was lengthy and I was encouraged to make another appt in five weeks to do what we should have done this time. I clearly was not happy with the service but still charged $200 and not even offered an earlier date so that it could be corrected. Let me finish by stating that my expectations are not unrealistic and totally could have been achieved in the last THREE visits. Wasted.Moving on.

I have (had) been a loyal customer of Bella Sirena for the past 20 years. I recently asked for a fix after 9 days (I was unable to come in before that) and was refused. The manager said that 9 days was considered a grow out period. 9 days? She was pretty adamant about it. My hair looks pretty bad in the back. Not blended well at all. I feel the management is not seasoned or mature. I have also noticed a steady turnover in their stylists over the past 3 years so I have not been able to establish a relationship with a stylist. Very disappointing. I will be moving on.

I saw Jill for the first time for a haircut in January 2021. I came in with medium-long hair that had a little bit of layering, but was basically one length.She listened to what I wanted and understood instantly. She even explained back to me what she heard and said it accurately and in detail that I hadnt known how to articulate. She really got it.Before the haircut, she explained things that would change about my hair if I got the cut I asked for and asked if that would work for my lifestyle.She knew several things about my hair without me saying a word. She knew the following: I wear it up a lot, it knots easily, it is hard to wash because of how thick it is, I dont color or style it, it rarely if ever sees heat tools, it doesnt move easily and feels boxy.Throughout my service she explained what she was doing so I wasnt left wondering, and she also told me why she was doing it. I felt involved in the whole process.I mentioned problems that I had with my hair and she recommended appropriate products to address those issues. Turns out Ive been using the wrong aveda conditioner for my hair type.I left feeling heard and wearing exactly the cut I asked for.

Charged for a service not received. Would not refund the money. Showed zero empathy for my situation. They will never get my money again.

I had my hair cut by Athena. She was great! She gave my medium/long hair long layers and body with some face framing. Absolutely no complaints. She asked me about my hair washing and styling routine and made sure she wasn’t using products unless I was interested. Left the salon feeling so fresh and clean!

You guys. As a naturally dark-haired gal that moves frequently and maintains very light blonde, highlighted hair, I always worry about finding a good stylist in a new location. Haley gave me THE most killer full highlight + haircut of my dreams, haha. The color came out perfect and she took the time to very thoroughly ensure that all of my (very thick) hair was addressed. Highly recommend her for all of your blonding needs! I will be back.

I had a wonderful haircut with Jill this week! She was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly and explained every action she took with my hair which was very helpful. I trust her completely with my hair! The salon is very bright, clean, and relaxing and I will definitely be back. Their prices are very reasonable to begin with, but the new client discount was a great deal!

Bella Sirena is extraordinary! I have been going to this salon for about three years and I am never disappointed. Their colorists are very experienced. They have the best stylists in the greater Seattle Metropolitan Area.They are an Aveda Salon which does not do testing on animals for their products. They use plant essences to create their products.I have seen three (3) of their stylists and each and every one of them are extremely talented in their craft.Customer Service is phenomenal. Was charged a fee for a top stylist for a color touch up but the receptionist with no experience blew dry my hair since the stylist did not have the time and I was still charged 90 plus my tip of $10.00. Why I tipped is beyond me. I should have given the money to the receptionist.

Ive gone to Bella Sirena since it opened. The quality of their talented stylists work has been consistent all through that time. I no longer color my hair, but their excellent advice always won me compliments. Even though Ive lived in Issaquah the past four years Ive continued to drive to Kirkland to have Becca cut my hair. (Cherise is another favorite.) I dont think you could go wrong, though, with any stylist at Bella Sirena; Julie hires only the best!

I have been going to Bella Sirena for two years for foils and hair cuts. Fallon does a great job and the Aveda products are wonderful. My daughter also goes for hair cuts and styles. She also get her brows done there by Marsha and we are always pleased with the service. Ive always enjoyed polite and customer oriented service. They do fun events too like the Ladies Night Out to introduce spring makeup colors. My daughter and I went in for makeup and hairstyles. Very fun!

Really poor experience. I was matched with a junior stylist via the online portal for the date and time I was available. During the pre cut consultation the stylist was not very knowledgeable to my questions and unable to provide any direction. I was just asking for a trim, so I thought it would be okay. During the wash and cut, the stylist seemed very distracted and klutzy. I was extremely disappointed with how she styled my hair, as it was exactly what I told her I didnt like during the consultation. When I went up to pay, the receptionist immediately tried to push the products they used to style my hair before even asking if I was satisfied. I expressed I was extremely frustrated with the lack of attention to detail and the overall experience. She suggested I book a more senior stylist next time. There will not be a next time.

I love this salon! It is relaxing and intimate. Emily, especially, is a wonderful stylist with both haircuts and color. Id highly recommend her!

LOL. This was by far the worst experience I have EVER had with a salon. I went in for a bleach and tone. It took so long that they were “running out of time” and couldn’t do my roots. So they wanted to charge me an additional $80 to finish my roots! They told me to go somewhere else for cheaper or finish my roots there for $80 additional dollars. Excuse me, but aren’t you’re roots supposed to be included in a full bleach and tone? I was told from the beginning I would have my roots and all of my hair done, then to switch it on me the last minute and ask for $80 more after i’m already paying $150? absolutely not.

Zero stars! If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. This place cancelled my haircut appointment twice in a row, all within a matter of days and right before I was scheduled to leave on a trip. I will never go back and will tell my family & friends about the terrible customer service and experience at this place.

My experience changed! Management took over to improve customer service and my appointment was not canceled last minute like 3 previous times. Sherese, the co owner, made my hair look & feel great.

I called and booked an appointment three weeks in advance, on my way there the morning of, seven minutes before the appointment, got a call asking to see if I could reschedule. Rescheduled, got a call the next day that I had to reschedule again because they messed up the booking. This happened three other times. Finally got into get a full set of eyelash extensions and they fell out about four days later. I called them and they said I would have to pay the difference between the fill and the full set instead of just paying what I had already paid for for the full set and fill. Definitely not happy with the service provided, will not be going back!

I cannot express how happy and pleased I am to have found Jill to be my hair stylist. She is skilled, experienced, talented at her craft, wonderful to chat with, and completely understanding to the realities of hairstyles and haircare. Her communication is explicit and easy to follow. Sometimes terminology between client and hair care professional can be tough, and she does a great job explaining what the healthy options are and the process she’s about to take! She executes fantastically!!Ive been growing my hair out for years from chopping it healthy after having done extensions for some time and coloring it blonde for years. I was explicit I was hesitant to cut too much length off since it I know how many months it takes to get to certain lengths and I didn’t want to waste the time I’d already put in with my hair or see the weeks of patience chopped on the floor. Jill COMPLETELY understood and walked me through what my options were given what I was asking and having issues with, I’ve never had such a positive hair cut experience!! We took a staged approach, and it’s been exactly what I needed. Not only did my new cut make my hair look like an actual style and polished, there wasn’t too much gone to cause a panic about how long it’ll take to like the view I saw in the mirror again and figure out how to style every morning. When I came back 6 weeks later to see her for a trim, she did it again!! Listened to exactly what the next direction I wanted to take my hair in to love the style even more, gave me a few options and executed STUNNINGLY! I finally have confidence in my own hair again, with time and patience I know we’ll get to such healthy hair and style. I cannot wait to see Jill again and actually keep up with trims every 6-8 weeks. Instead of just letting it grow out as long as possible and get to a desperate point in need of a cut. This location is very convenient to where I live and I found it initially since Bella Sirena carries Aveda products. I eventually learned it was a better move to invest in quality products and consistent use. It’s tough to beat Aveda’s stellar brand and reputation. Bella Sirena and Jill are prime finds!! Thank you for making it a reality that I genuine enjoy the view of my hair each morning in the mirror :)

The stylist that cut my sons hair was not very good with children. She was short with my daughter twice and told her (she is three) to be aware of the other people in the salon and to be quiet. I took my daughter outside and would have been happier if she had just been direct and spoken with me. My husband was there also so there was plenty of supervision. Bikini wax for me included soft and hard wax after I requested hard wax and explained that soft wax does not work well for me. I left with a rash where she used soft wax. When I called for the reservation I made the hair appointment for a child cut so they knew his age and I confirmed that they uses the thicker hard wax. I will not be returning and usually have a great experience at Aveda.

Five Stars is a no brainer. 45$ for a trim is not only the most affordable price around Kirkland, but Katie was simply lovely! She knew that with my super long hair, an inch would feel like ten and made me feel super safe as she mentioned only dusting the ends. There was a lot of care that went into this cut, even if I only took off a seemingly tiny amount. Not only that, she actually suggested a product that I now LOVE. I always feel swindled into buying a $35 bottle of goop that doesnt really do anything spectacular. This was a quality cut, a sincere encounter and a genuine experience. Cant wait for my next appointment (and their tea!) (:

Zero stars in the customer service department. I went there with a scheduled appointment where I stated exactly what needed to be done. The day of my appointment I get told the lady I’m scheduled with can’t perform what I want done. Then the manager on site refused to help me and told me not to come back into the store nor would she give me her name to report to the owner. When I finally found out her name was Emily I called the owner Julie who had the same attitude. She disregarded what I told her happened and believed I guess what her staff said happened. I never did get my hair done nor will I. They are all disrespectful it was a terrible experience even the front desk ladies. So if your looking for an enjoyable getaway to beautify yourself I don’t recommend coming to Julie’s salon.

I just moved here and have been going to an Aveda salon for over 10 yrs in vancouver, Canada so I thought this salon would be a good spot, however it was not.I needed highlights and a cut. She did my roots in an orange copper color that isnt close to my natural and then added chunks of blond that made me look like a copper cheetah. Its the worst color job I have ever had. I needed blond highlights and she gave me a mess.I returned from my business trip and decided to go back for eyelashes and to talk to them about fixing my hair. Mistake..The eyelash extentions I got where also a hot mess. After 6 days most had fallen out. Ive had lashes several times and know they should last longer.I canceled my to be fixed hair appointment and wont go back. Would you after 2 horrible experiences..?

Worst salon experience Ive ever had.A couple of months ago I thought Id try them out because of their coupon for first time clients. I wanted a cut and color. The women seemed nice and after I explained that I wanted my roots to match the rest of my hair, she said we could do a French Wash. A few minutes later she returned a told me a French Wash actually wouldnt work and suggested a Full Foil. I told her that I just wanted a root touch up and trim and that I didnt have that much money, so she assured me that a Partial Foil would get me the same effect that I was looking for. After the process my roots were still brown, but now I have bright blonde streaks in my hair. She told me I was done without doing the haircut either. She took 2 minutes and an inch straight across my hair and told me I was done. $180 for this, coupon included. Ridiculous.I made a complaint and came back in the next day. I had asked to speak to a manager. Instead I was confronted with the same stylist from the day before, no manager. I explained that my hair was not what I wanted and she argued with me. Absolutely no costumer service. She told me that what I wanted done with my hair would be $400. Excuse me? A root touch up, dark blonde to light blonde by the way, and a trim is not $400. And she mentioned none of this the day before during our consultation. When I said that the haircut was only a minute or two and she didnt cut enough off she replied, Well how long is a haircut supposed to take?” She then went in the back room and laughed with her coworkers about me. The whole salon could hear. Unbelievable and embarrassing. It was only after she started my haircut that she tried to schedule another appointment and sell me products.Never go to Bella Sirena. They have no sense of customer service and are overpriced as all get out. They care about your money, not you.
