My experience with Dr. Merrell was anything but impressive.Maybe he was having a bad day.I was excited to be seeing a specialist to try to get to the bottom of decades of joint pain.While trying to describe my symptoms and areas of pain, he quickly interrupted me to say he’s only interested in my left hip which at that time was the area giving me the most trouble.He was rude and seemed to not really care.He spent a total of about 5 minutes with me, and went on his way.

Tri City Orthopedics has been a wonderful place. They did a fantastic job replacing my knee and now it looks like I will need my other knee replaced. They are friendly and always there for you!! I most definitely would recommend them!!

Dr. Merrill and his team are amazing! I didn’t have to wait more than 5 minutes until I was seen. If you need X-rays they are completed in minutes right in their office.They have a top notch surgery center that both my husband and daughter had surgery there this past year.I always recommend them to anyone I care about!

The office staff greeted me in a personal fashion, we’re efficient with gathering the information they needed, and my wait to see Dr. Merrill was brief.The nurse listen to my comments regarding the problem I was experiencing with my elbow and passed me off to an X-ray technician for X-rays. The doctor was friendly and efficient in assessing my problem, he pointed out features on the X-ray that helped me understand what he was saying, and he offered several options to address my concerns. We agreed on one option for next steps to take and my time with Dr Merrill and his staff was complete.

Had a bad nurse at first but after that great. Dr. Merrell did a great job. Was out by 11:30 the next day with a total knee replacement. Sore but getting along. Thanks Doc. 😄

Had my knee surgery for my tear meniscus with Dr. Merrell. Everything when well , I really wasn’t expected too much as far as how better my knee could get for I had the problem for more then 12 years until I literally couldn’t take the pain anymore. When in there with hope thought, for i heard about the Doctor’s excellent reputation by a coworker and in his reviews . I came out walking on my own and within 3 weeks when back to my work. I work in sanitation where I walk a lot and use stairs and I was really surprise how soon I when back to doing my daily tasks. Even my con workers were really surprise how soon I came back to work. Some of them didn’t even believe that I had the surgery .Thanks Dr. Merrell. Thanks also to the customer services people that helped me as well.

As usual, TCO provides that best ortho care in the area. All the doctors are the best in their class. Dr. Merrills visit, which included in house x-rays, was quick and to the point. I trust all my ortho care to only TCO.

What a great place to receive quality care and have all of the tools under one roof. It was so nice to have an MRI and 20 minutes later meet with Dr Merrell and have a treatment plan agreed upon and executed the same day. From the front desk to Dr Merrell and everyone in between they have a great professional staff. Would highly recommend them to anyone wanting quality care.

The check in person was very nice but the person in charge of checking out looked like she did not have time to answer some questions, when asked for some answers she wasnt willing to help. The nurse was very nice same as the Doctor but the Doctor only took 5 minutes or less with me and I did not have time to ask more questions regarding my concerns.

Dr Merrell was professional and kind and I feel very secure that he will handle my issue in a timely manner.

DR. Merrell performed a hip replacement on my right hip 3 1/2 years ago. I cant think of anyone else I would want!!! He will be doing my left hip in 4 or 5 months. Cant wait! !!!

Dr Mark Merrill’s one of the hardest working doctors I have known. I told him he needs to spend more time with his patients as we do have questions. He checked up on me when I was in the hospital even on a Sunday. Hard working and encouraging to help you heal. Very direct but with his options but also needs to listen to his patients when they say they are working out to take their word. As this was the worse scar tissue I have ever had to deal with and almost five months mark I am finally feeling almost like myself as Lidocaine patches and the combination of tennis and racket balls really healed my knee so I can now dance again, walk again and enjoying life once again. Dr. Merrell is clear, concise, and to the point. No long drawn out explanations or efforts to convince me to have a procedure by an overwhelming plethora of words. I was able to clearly understand my options and make an informed decision. Having had a surgery performed by him several years ago, I knew what to expect this time and wasnt disappointed.

Both knees were given to him for care one minor the other a total replacement. Dr Merrell performed amazing work his professional manner and attention to detail, his care, and devotion were first class. Im so glad he made me feel like new.

I went to see Dr Merrell for hip and leg pain. His office staff was very timely, friendly, and helpful. His nurse was very timely, friendly, and helpful. Dr Merrell came in very timely, but was all business and I got the strong feeling he was in a big hurry. I think he listened to me some, but I think he already had in his head what was wrong with me. He did his quick leg strength checks and then said what he thought was wrong and gave me two options. I chose the least invasive. He said hed prescribe an anti-inflammatory and see where it goes. Then he left. I thought hed be back with the prescription and some final words. Nope, he sent his nurse in. I still had some questions. She could not answer them so she went and asked him. I felt like with the money we were paying him he could have spent a little more time with me. Thank goodness what I have is fairly minor (no surgery needed)! Ive seen PAs there at their office and I much prefer them. They have always taken as much time as I have needed and been so informative. Next time I will stick to the PAs. Dr Merrell doesnt seem to have time for us minor cases that dont require surgery!!
