Not a place to go if you are in a real crisis. Too conservative in trying different meds due to teaching facility. Too long of a wait between appointments, 3 months apart while trying to survive with meds that arent working.

Met with Jenna Whitbeck. Very disappointed. I had two different doc students the last 5 years that were great in General Medicine. Whoever is running the psychiatry unit now is either taking it in a wrong direction or maybe its just the doctor over her. Found services else where.

The WORST mental health facility to get an appointment with. My husband was close to suicide and I couldnt even get them to call us back with an appointment and he was an existing patient on medication. I had to break down in the doctors office to get him an appointment in the first place because every time I called we were brushed off. They will prescribe medication yet never have you come in for a follow up or check in with you or anything. Such a shame for a prestigious hospital. This is why so many people in this country die due to mental health.

This clinic (both residents and attendings) doesnt seem to be very trauma informed, nor do they seem to understand how having multiple illness can impact the way each one presents itself. A truly bad experience that left me shaken and distraught.
