Can I give negative stars??? I see why she only has a 2.9 for her reviews. DO NOT GO HERE!! They are going to charge you over $500 for a new patient visit. Then let you sit there for 2 hours waiting to talk to her for 30 mins. And they tell you they had a patient emergency, which after reading reviews, that seems to be the norm. Then we you call about the billing, after of month of leaving messages with no return call, I waited on hold for 15 mins to be told oh well. Sorry you feel that way. Oh, and by the way, her nurses need to get cleaned up. Looking like they have been dipping in the meds.***Update*** Big shocker, talked to the manager on 1/14, she said she would talk to the manager about crediting my account since they already have $500 paid by my insurance company. Havent heard back and called today 1/28 and got, Oh thats right I did talk to you. I talked to the doctor and she isnt going to credit you. Sorry to have to deliver that news to you. I would highly recommend NOT going here. Their follow up alone makes me question if theyre really taking care of their patients. Sounds like they are just out over charge and provide bad customer service for an extremely high rate. Too bad, cuz I work with 1500 people right across the street and will continue putting the word out.

Dr. Nora Gomez and her staff are the most knowledgeable, responsible, and caring professionals in the medical field. Dr. Gomez saved my life by researching and identifying a life threatening heart issue after three weeks of other medical opinions that were inaccurate. She is a phenomenal doctor, along with my exceptional Cardiologist, Dr. Gerald Mancuso. I do not agree with any negative comments about Dr. Gomez and her staff.

Dr. Gomez is by far the best physician I have ever had. She takes time, asks questions, and makes me feel like she actually cares about me and my well being. I have recommended her to several friends who have had similar experiences.

I wholeheartedly agree with Josh but I must add that this so called doctor has ego and self esteem issues. She nor her nurse contacted me with my test results or instructions on taking a vitamin that I was deficient in for 2 weeks, so I left a message telling her and her nurse how incompetent they were and I contacted hospital administration to let them know what a piss poor physician she is and I contacted my insurance company to let them know that she didn’t deserve to be paid the $430 she charged me. This sorry physician couldn’t handle the criticism so she dismissed me from the St Joseph hospital system in retaliation. I had surgery scheduled with another doctor there but I cancelled that surgery because if she is that incompetent then this other doctor might be in the same category. LOL she dumped me, but good riddance to her and hope she gets some more training on how to be a competent doctor.

Dr. Gomez is a nice physician but her staff and her nurses are awful. I liked her previous nurse a lot but the current one, ASHLEY SMITH, is extremely rude and incompetent. Ive been calling since 7/23 for a 90 prescription and today is 8/1 and she cant seem to get this sent over accurately. I called 7/23 at around 1pm and never got a call back. I called again 7/25 at 8 am when they opened and left another message and she didnt call back until after 5 pm, close to 6. Ashley was extremely rude. I tried explaining to her which prescriptions i needed to be 90 days very quickly because I was at work. I said can you send these 3 prescriptions over for 90 days, im at work. i cant stay on the phone. ill call back when I have more time she says to me call back when youre not rude. AND HUNG UP IN MY FACE. the people in this office lack compassion and i feel sorry for Dr. Gomez. They will hinder her business.

Dr Gomez is everything you could hope for in a family practitioner. She is highly knowledgeable, thoughtful, caring, and an excellent listener. Couldnt be happier with the care she provides our family.

Dr Gomez is fine. But the stop at the front desk before you see the doc today was not fine. You know how some say that you should never complain and send back your food at a restaurant because they may put something bad in your food. What about the doctors office? If you walk in and sign in but 5min later the desk girl points at you and loudly says YOU WHATS YOUR NAME. If I tell her to lower her voice, put down her finger and check the sheet I just signed in on - will she then tell folks outside the office about this confrontation and then tell whats in my private medical records? LOL .. 6 degrees of separation so chances are you know someone who knows that loud rude girl at the doctors office that has no concern for silence and privacy! However 1 rude chick does not a bad office make because the last visit had a different girl who was so warm and inviting as was everyone else except the same chick today.

She is a great doctor. But when you make an appointment and show up 20 mins early. And wait an hour. Before they even tell you that an emergency case just walked in. So they cant help you. Come back next week. Seems like dr. Gomez needs a better staff..
