So I have been seeing Dr. Robert Spurling yearly for the past 3-4 years maybe even longer. I had an upcoming appointment scheduled with him approaching in a few days just to receive a call implying that because he had to make a few adjustments to my eye glass prescription last year he don’t want to see me this year and cancelled my appointment! I am guessing he feels I am costing him money to adjust my eyeglass Rx. Wowwwww what a terrible (meaningless) way to discharge a patient from your outdated practice! No worries I am sure it will be extremely easy to ascertain another optometrist who will kindly adjust my eyeglass prescription if I feel they are too strong and/or not strong enough!

Been seeing doc and his staff for years along with all 4 others of my family. Friendly, courteous service with a smile and always looking to help you make the most of your insurance.

The only eye doctor to get my prescription right. He realized my eye vision changed during pregnancy and for my daughter during cycle changes. He did not charge extra for an extra appointment to confirm the changes. I have been out of his network and area for a decade. My daughters still come into town just to have their visits. I look forward to using him as my eye Doctor again.

Dr. Spurring is so patient, and through. He is the only doctor that I trust to fill my subscription for glasses. I am long overdue due to glaucoma problems, but he was the one that discovered it, and sent me to an opthamologist. I feel safe and comfortable having Dr. Spurling filling my prescription needs. His office staff is always friendly, helpful and nice. Very satisfied.

Doctor Spurlings Office helped me out with getting my new prescription for flight school. The doctor himself is a friendly guy and cares about his patients, we had some great conversations. His staff was very friendly and helpful the entire time I was there, with exception to the young gal who works in the front of the office. She measured my pupillary distance and was rude, disrespectful, and short. It seemed she barely had the capability to professionally communicate to a customer younger than herself in a reasonable way. With that said she was also very condescending about what I needed for flight school, which was interesting for someone who works at an optometrist office and has no aviation experience. If it wasnt for her this would be a 5++++ star review. Best optometrist in town!

Yesterday I called into Dr. Spurlings office because of symptoms of what I (accurately) believed to be a minor scratched cornea. They got me in for an office visit less than an hour later! The office staff was professional and kind, and Dr. Spurling was a delight. Within an hour, I was in and out! The price of the eye drops + office visit was more than reasonable. They even offered to adjust my glasses afterwards! Im very pleased with the service I received, and I highly recommend them. Thanks, Dr. Spurling!
