St. John’s Vein Center is a first rate organization. I have been in the medical field for over 20 years and was supremely impressed with every facet of my experience. Scheduling was easy, the check in experience was efficient and the Front Desk staff were friendly and helpful. The MA/Surgery tech (both of them, I had 2) were professional, caring, friendly and paid attention to detail. My physician was friendly, knowledgeable, professional and explained things in such a way that they were easily understood by someone who might not be familiar with the procedure. During the vein procedure itself my physician explained what he was doing each step of the way. I highly recommend this facility.

I was having a lot of trouble with cramping and restless legs. I scheduled a consultation with St. Johns Vein Clinic and was told they could help me. They were very professional and knowledgeable. Tanya was most helpful in explaining the process and what to expect. When I met Dr. Colares I was confident that I made the right decision and I was in good hands. The procedures on both legs went great and I am sleeping through the night without having to get up to walk around! I am so thankful to the team at St. Johns Vein Clinic - Fleming Island for all of their help and expertise.

I had two visits for treatment of severe varicose veins in the past two days. Dr. Collares , Melissa P.A.-C and the medical Assistent were excellent in explaining the procedure and making me feel comfortable. The procedure (Sclerotherapy) was quick and easy and nearly pain free. I will go back for a follow up ultrasound next week and then a Ambulatory Phlebectomy after that. So far all is good … time will tell. I will write a updated review after all is done.

The vein clinic has really helped the pain in my legs. I would lie in bed for hours suffering with pain & couldn’t go to sleep. Now I rest much better and my legs look better without all those blue & purple veins bulging out. What a blessing

Do NOT go here!!!!!I had several (at least three) “initial” consultations all with very high out of pocket copays. These appointments were unproductive and did not progress to any findings or next steps other than more consultations.In my opinion, this establishment is charging patients and insurance companies needlessly.A very close friend had a similar experience that lasted almost a year!!Hundreds of dollars later, they did ABSOLUTELY NOTHINGIf you are experiencing an issue with your veins or your legs, I would recommend anywhere else!!!Do not go here.

For several years I was in constant pain and discomfort. My legs felt like I had ankle weights on. I was barely able to lift them to climb steps or even walk across a parking lot. I had to plan my moves strategically so I could avoid the pain of walking. As a result I gained a ridiculous amount of weight and became depressed, angry and ashamed of who I had become. I kept seeing the ads on Facebook for St. Johns Vein Center and the symptoms they described sounded like my life. I had finally had all I could take and made an appointment for a free consultation. I will admit I was super embarrassed to get the initial ultrasound done. The moment I walked into the office the staff made me feel welcome. The technician that completed my ultrasound was professional and made me feel at ease. Then I had a consult with Dr. St. George, once again he made me very comfortable and answered all my questions thoroughly. I found out that I would need 3 ablations and then sclerotherapy. I started my treatment in December 2019. Then the Pandemic hit a couple months later and my treatment was put on hold for a month or so then resumed. I finished all of my treatments by June/July 2020. I was feeling much better with good days and bad, but the good outweighed the bad. Did I mention the staff at the Fleming Island office is fantastic? Of course they were all great but the staff member that really coaxed me through this was Tania. She was super knowledgeable and always had a listening ear and great advice for my recovery process. It has taken me a while to write this because I have been LIVING my life. Truth be told St. Johns Vein Center saved my life. I am no longer in pain, I walk everywhere, workout at the gym and travel often. I literally dont sit still. Since completing my treatments I have lost 72 lbs, no longer pre-diabetic and plan to continue with my journey. Once I hit my goal weight I will be scheduling cosmetics so my legs are pretty again. Thanks St. Johns Vein Center for my 2nd chance at life. I am a forever grateful client.

My visit to the Perimeter park office was a fantastic experience! Gorgeous office & Very welcoming staff! The PA made me feel very comfortable with the procedure & I decided to have it done immediately. Best decision ever! Left the office feeling beautiful! I’ll be back!

I strongly believe that both Dr. St. George and Dr. Collares are remarkably professional, well qualified, and attuned to the patients needs. My initial examination was very complete and professional. Afterwards Dr. St. George spent a lot of time explaining the reasons my leg pain was so intense and noted that I needed vascular surgery as soon as possible to relieve the leg pain that was so agonizingly brutal. In my presence he told his nurse to move fast on this guy and dont make him wait two weeks. Unfortunately, that was where the caring, professional health care ended. I did not even hear from his staff regarding the scheduling of additional appointments for surgery, the amount required for out-of-pocket expenses, or other details until I initiated contact after not hearing from them for a week following the pre-surgery appointment when Dr. St. George had told his nurse to expedite my treatment. Needless to say, his staff had not given Dr. St. Georges instructions about not making me wait for surgery any consideration whatsoever. Even though I had asked about out-of-pocket expenses during my very first visit, they had very rudely advised me that I would be told about out-of-pocket expenses two (2) days prior to surgery and nothing would be available until that time I was also not consulted in any manner whatsoever regarding appointment times for the surgeries (somewhere between four (4) and six (6) as I recall) to insure that I did not have unchangeable commitments on surgery dates. This is a bit harsh but there is no other way to say it: The support staff at the Jacksonville office of St. Johns Vein Center is, at best, rude and inconsiderate of the needs of the patient. In fact, a complete description of their treatment of the patient would be incomplete without including the following descriptive adjectives: arrogant, condescending, discourteous, and mean-spirited. All of this is particularly unfortunate because I firmly believe that otherwise, all of the physicians, especially Dr. St. George, would be the first choice of many, many patients were it not for having to work with (or more accurately work around) the medical support staff at the Jacksonville location.

When I first started going a couple years ago I was nervous about having any procedures done but Tanya calmed my nerves. The entire staff is so professional, warm, and great at their job. My legs look and feel so much better than before. I highly recommend St Vein Center.

I cannot adequately express how pleased I am with the results of my procedures at St. Johns Vein Clinic. The staff were professional and personable and Dr St. George did a fantastic job of explaining what the procedures were about, the anticipated results, and all in laymans terms that I understood. The results provided me with the ability to walk distances often required in my work, play golf without fatigue in my legs, and sleep better than I have in years without cramps in my legs. Great people doing a great job!

Came um for a complementary vein screen and was amazed by the professionalism from all the staff Ive had contact with. The place is spotless clean and the decor for the entire facility is very high end. Was happy to learn that they work with my I insurance and Im looking forward to start my treatment here and meet the doctors

Couldnt ask for a more pleasant experience from the moment you enter the office, which is so unlike a typical medical office, you feel right at home. The staff is always very accommodating and make you feel like you are part of their family. Dr. St. George, well, cant say enough good, but if you want the best, go to his clinic and along with his associates you will get the best of care.

This is one place I would HIGHLY recommend to anyone! The staff is just absolutely amazing and so kind. They truly take the time to get to know you on a personal level and not just a number like most Doctor Offices. The Doctor is very knowledgeable and great with Patients, along with all the providers. This is one Office that I cannot say one bad thing about and if anyone needs any of their vein needs taken care of.....St. Johns Vein Center is the place to go!! Also, check out their cosmetics (botox, etc.)......they do great work and I for one will be going back for my cosmetic needs!! St. Johns Vein Center is the number one office in Northeast Florida!!!

Natalie is the absolute best. I have been here for both sclerotherapy and jeveau, and each time I felt warm and welcomed. The expert technique made me feel like I was in great hands and well cared for. And, the offices are conveniently located and gorgeous. So happy I found this place!

My experience and the results were outstanding! Dr. St. George and his team were very professional, comforting, and knowledgeable. I had varicose and spider veins in both legs that were unsightly and created cramps as well as pain. As an athlete and former tennis pro my lower body takes a lot of abuse. After my procedures I noticed incredible results in only a few weeks! My legs look great, my cramps are gone, no longer any pain, and I could not be any happier. The fee was very reasonable and everything was done in the office. I give St. John Vein Center my very highest recommendation!

Been there three times. Need surgery according to the gal who speaks very broken Englaish... Havent seen a doctor yet. Had a procedure today. They seem to care more about the money I pay. Technicians do not have English as a first language. First girl was a complete debacle. Maybe this is my new life down here?? Welcome to FL.... Not so welcoming. I miss TN!

What a rip off, after paying over $500 for a sonogram of my veins you then have to pay over $150 for them to give you the results and now they want another $150 so the doctor can tell me how much it will cost to fix the problem. I work in Plastic Surgery office and we would never do that to our patients just really bad business.

I went in for cosmetic reasons for a particular area on the inside of left thigh. After numerous surgeries, the spot has a continued bruised area. And now I have a lot of spider viens. Legs looked better before procedures then now. Wished I had just left it as it was and not had any surgeries.

Although the staff was very friendly, and appointments easy to make, I got absolutely NO relief from my leg pain after FIVE ablation procedures, one phlebectomy, and several sclerotherapy treatments. Im not saying this may not work for anyone, but it certainly had no effect on me. A waste of thousands of dollars!

Dr. George made me feel I was vain because I wanted legs to look nice. I should wait until I needed repairs done medically. He was condescending to me. Not good when you are talking with a powerful professional woman.

Never told me that medicare pays for this service for seniors. Medicare pays for 5 sessions per calendar year. And if you have supplemental insurance (most of us do) your supplemental pays for the balance. I went to you for several sessions and paid through the nose.

I had an excellent experience with my visit to the St. Johns Vein Center. Because the initial screening was free, I was a little concerned there might be some catch. Well, there was absolutely NO catch and the advice/ screening was beyond excellent. Tracie who did the screening obviously had a lot of experience and answered all my questions and then some. I had a big concern about a DVT(blood clot) and treatment. She showed me the clot on an ultrasound and gave me a general tour of my calf via ultrasound. From my reading on the web and limited pharmaceutical background, I knew enough to know that she understood a DVT and this topic better than my doc who recommended I find someone with some experience. I thought I would have to have an appointment with a vascular surgeon from what my doctor was saying. Turns out, I didnt need to go there. Tracie clearly knew this topic backwards and forwards and confidently assured me my condition didnt required a vascular surgeon.All this was done at no cost to me. I would have willingly paid for it. I highly recommend these people. They know what they are doing.
