I didn’t know where to go, so I did a quick search on Google to get my glasses repaired. So I ventured out and came into this store! The owner was so kind and patient with me! I was extremely impressed. I am returning to do more optical purchases. Definitely I do recommend this place!!!

I love this place. I went in at 2 almost 3 pm and Clint was able to fix my glasses that I broke. Thank you so much and Im getting glasses here with my prescription. You are awesome. ❤

I had to check out this funky optical store in downtown Jacksonville, while I was visiting on vacation. I was surprised how hip their selections were and not to mention they are the sweetest couple who run it! I ended up choosing LaFont, which are handcrafted in Paris. They were so very helpful and I got my glasses in about a week! I am so in love!! They look perfect with my face and shape of my eyebrows. I cant thank them enough for helping me find my new glasses!!!

I had to run home from getting my new glasses and write this review! Davalt Optical has such awesome and unique frames! Exactly the type of place I was looking for. They were able to get some super cool glasses made for me within 30 minutes today! They have Rx lenses in the store, and are able to cut them and fit them to your glasses the same day. Of course this can vary for specialty lenses and prescriptions. But how cool!If you want one of a kind frames, this place is for you. The couple who own and run this store are incredibly sweet and helpful. Support this family owned business! I will definitely be back!

I would like to point out that I live out of state but while I was visiting the area, I decided to stop in to see what options were available in frames. The selection was AWESOME and the attention that I received from Kelly and Clinton was EXCEPTIONAL ! I ordered a pair of glasses and they took care of all of the insurance paperwork even though I was out of network. To be honest, I was a bit nervous about having glasses mailed to me but when they arrived , they fit perfectly. I will definitely order another pair when I return to Jacksonville.

I have been to Davalt several times for glasses. They are very knowledgeable and have a huge selection. They were the only place that had frames to fit what I needed and are the most comfortable pair I have ever owned! They have gone out of their way to meet me several times, after hours, due to my schedule. I would highly recommend anyone that needs glasses to go to Davalt Optical.

I have worn glasses for over 20 years and never rarely have a good experience with getting new glasses until I came here. I went to Devault last week when my glasses broke and Clinton was patient and helped me with ordering my new pair. Kelly styled me with a pair of cute frames and ensured I was comfortable with the fit. They went above and beyond to help me when I was up a creek. They were fast, knowledgeable and provided fantastic customer service! It is very rare that you will come across genuineally good people, will recommend everyone in the four eyed community.
