So thankful for them! For the first time I was actually part of an amazing group who helped me realize that my drinking was an issue, they helped me with that denial and the mindset I had to blame everyone but myself. As of a week ago I am one year sober . I couldn’t have done it without this program . Gods blessing

The group counselor did a wonderful job in facilitating the sessions which he had presented to us. Though I was nervous about beginning this course - by the end I felt more comfortable and was glad it had progressed the way it had. Yes there is daily paperwork but it allowed us to stay focused. Finally I got approved within 24 hours from being finalized in the program to getting my license renewal approval. Thanks for all of my assistance.

I was asked by the director of the center to do a review on how well they did for me, but Id rather tell the truth. After being charged for a day that I could not attend due to a hurricane and having no lights, I was charged for those hours anyway and I felt that was unfair. They made me pay for an extra day of class to make up for that day. So I paid for those hours twice. The center is very unprofessional. While trying to enroll in the class, the man in charge, was at a McDonaldss asking for ketchup and upset that I was calling during his lunchbreak. I was trying to support a local African American small business, but theres a different center nearby that doesnt require so much personal information daily and theyre cheaper. The actual class was a great experience (the only reason Im giving them two stars). It was good to be around people that had the same issues as me. I met different people and the teacher was great. Administration side of the center, on the other hand, are kind of shady and disrespectful. They know you need this class to get your license back, and they use it to their advantage. If I would have waited on them, as I was told to do, to call me back when they submit my paperwork to Raleigh, I would have had to wait a long time after I finished the class to be able to get my license. I took matters into my own hands and I got my license back and had them 2 weeks before the director finally called me back. I know someone else having the same problem; this person is older and didnt know they did not have to wait for them to call back, and they finished the class a while ago. Very unprofessional.

Had a case pending since 2012 because the other counseling company I went through did not submit my paperwork. I was told it could take a few months because I live out of state. The staff was able to gather all documents and fix the issue in just one week! Professional staff and highly recommended!

I enjoyed the weekly experience of talking to others that have the same problem as me. The staff and group counselor are extremely helpful. They will make you comfortable through your journey with them.

DO NOT PAY FOR ANYTHING IN ADVANCE!!! No matter what happens, they will take all of your money and NOT refund you even if you change your mind and don’t take any classes. I got scammed out of just over a thousand dollars after having difficulty due to the global pandemic.

-Very rude, unprofessional and pushy. They want your money upfront (via: CashApp) before even talking to you. Made me pay for hours that I was not required to take. They only add more hours for them to take your money. The attention you receive is nowhere near worth what you pay.-Unprofessional because a guy came in the room during a zoom call without a shirt on, during a confidential conversation.-Claims to be a Non-Profit.

The ABSOLUTELY WORST PLACE EVER FOR TREATMENT OF ANY KIND!!! Be prepared to give lengthy life stories written daily on top of group and essays about AA. IT IS A COMPLETE FRAUD!!! DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU WANT MORE BULL IN YOUR LIFE!!!

I really enjoyed coming here. Ms. Hawkins really showed me that there are still people out here that do care, she opened my eyes to a lot and I thank her for her wisdom!!! We did have some work, like journals, AA meetings, and an autobiography but it wasn’t hard and it helped open my eyes to why I was going there in the first place. So I just want to thank the whole team for getting me though it all!!!😂

The staff is very friendly and professional. You do a lot of extra work at home with journals, questions, and an autobiography but it is intended to help you. I fell I did gain from this class and felt it has made a positive impact on my life. If you have to take this last and want to gain something from it I would recommend New Insights.

Although I can’t say that I wanted to be there Mrs Hawkins made my time there informative and educational. She is very pleasant.

I accidentally gave this place five stars. Never come here. Do everything in your power to never go through this place to get your license back. This man is a crook and does not play by the rules that DHHS set into place to give him the authority to do this business. Ive never been somewhere so addicted to doing people wrong, honestly Im surprised it hasnt been shut down already. DO NOT COME TO THIS BUSINESS TO GET YOUR LICENSE BACK. This is not from my perspective only; in the 6 months I attended this class the swindler did so many people wrong I truly lost count. If you find it necessary to go here your patience will be tested.

During the New Insight DWI counseling and drug addiction program I learned that I was in denial of my alcohol addiction the counseling help me realize that and most of all how to be honest with yourself. I recommend this program to individuals who truly want help with their addiction.

Was improperly informed about the statutes of their program, along with the requirements and prerequisites for graduation.. Classes are held Tuesdays and Thursdays afternoon from 4 to 6, if you miss one session (2hrs) 3 hours are added to your time.. Missing 2 sessions NO MATTER WHAT gets you kicked out.. Building is somewhat unsafe and needs restorations including furniture, air conditioning and light fixtures... For a program that pulls in so much money a month ($50 per person x2 a week X 20-30ppl) from its clients and seemingly spends none, one would hope client comfort would be top priority.. Biggest scam in Jvil since the Kirby Vacuum..

This place is horrible. The owner is the biggest scam artist Ive ever met. I ended up paying almost double the price I was told to pay during my assessment. They also add hours whenever they want for the dumbest reasons. The actual program is unorganized and not helpful at all. The buildings are small and in my opinion unsafe. It seems like their pocketing all the money and not trying to make the program better. Save your time and money and go somewhere else.
