I was looking for someone that could squeeze me in because I was having tooth pain near my bridge. They were able to take me as a walk-in. I was so impressed right when I walked in this building. Everyone was so friendly and warm. The Dentist explained to me exactly what was happening with my tooth. They have state of the art equipment. I even got to watch a show while they were working on my mouth. Everyone was amazing here and I will definitely be back!!!

These folks over here were awesome. I was in pain and had a appt and by the time I got there I went straight back and got handled. Everyone seemed to really enjoy their jobs and did great at it. Doc had a little fun removing my tooth but got it handled and sent me on my way. I thank you guys for the great service :)

I have had infected teeth removed at this dentist before and each time was a pleasure. I have needed to have my 4 wisdom teeth extracted for years as they were impacted and causing many issue with my other teeth. I was so afraid to have them removed as I have heard horror stories. When I came across Emergency Dental on University again, I knew I would be in good hands. I was a walk-in but they made me feel welcomed and accommodated my needs. Dr. Aaro and his entire team took great care of me. He was able to extract all 4 wisdom teeth with no complications, fit me in for a deep cleaning, and set up a treatment plan for all of my dental concerns. He made sure that I was always comfortable and felt no pain. He was so patient and you can tell that he genuinely loves what he does and cares for his patients. Now that they offer general services I will be trading in my old dentist for this office.

They did an amazing job on my teeth. The hygienist really knows his stuff, my teeth are the cleanest they have ever been, and not only that, Dr. Aaro did and amazing job fixing my chipped tooth. I was very happy with my experience and the people their are such nice people.

Absolutely amazing. My primary was booked up for the day and I was in allot of pain. Called into here and they got me an appointment quickly. As soon as I got there I was seen and was told what was going on and what I needed to do next. Gave me a list of specialists in the area and even called one to get me an appointment and see if they were in my network. I wouldnt think twice about going here again if ever needed. Kind and efficient staff.

I am so impressed with this dental office. They keep the door locked and come get you in your car. Christina came and took me inside. She was so so nice she made me feel comfortable from the very beginning. The dental assistant and dentist were so kind, professional and patient either me. I had both their names but misplaced them. The office itself was clean and very neat. They dont take my insurance so I had to pay out of pocket because I was in pain and needed the tooth extracted. The outer walls do not tell the story of how high tech this place is. You would think that its a small place. Once past the reception area things change. Its a buzz of people working and things getting done. The staff was super nice, and seemed happy to be there. Not like some where its an act for a paycheck, nope not this place they are genuinely happy to be there. The Dr that extracted my 2 teeth was open and forth coming about every step. You didnt feel like you were left alone e for to long but they didnt hover and just make usless banter or small talk. They were friendly and about business. I who havent been to a dentist in sadly 30 yrs did not get the whole why not or you know better talking to. It was the reverse they asked if I were comfortable enough to make them my primary care for me teeth. And I do need a few things done and a son who also needs a dentist this will be my new home for dental issues.

I absolutely hate dentists, but I had to get my last wisdom tooth removed as it was causing excruciating pain. Walk-in right at 8am (I arrived at 7am to make sure I was first in line) and was out within 45 minutes. Great service, friendly staff. Dr Aaro was super cool and knowledgeable. I think I may visit them for regular services moving forward.

I called for a wisdom tooth extraction. I got an appointment for the following day. The Dr and nurses were kind and polite. Clean office. During the extraction I felt no pain at all. I will definitely use them again in the future and highly recommend their services to others.

Christine, Lisa and Yasser are a total delight! We had scheduling conflicts for about a month but I was finally able to get in for my first cleaning in 15 years! Yasser knew I was scared and anxious and spit some deep philosophy at me, told me to just focus on my breathing. That was my only job, breathe and keep focused on that to minimize my risk of panic and it worked! He was very professional and comforting! He lifted 15 years of tartar and smokers teeth off in just under two hours! I am so grateful this place. I was dealing with pain from impacted wisdom teeth for a week straight and each day it was getting more severe. I went to a dentist and they referred me to an oral surgeon, I was calling places nonstop and said the earliest they could get me in would in 2-3 months out. I am so glad I found this place, I was able to come in the same day and Dr.Arro removed all 4 of my wisdom teeth and it went quick and the whole procedure was painless, he did an amazing job. Couple days later now I am in so much relief of the pain my wisdom teeth were causing me. I will be back to this place for the primary dental care.

I had tried for 3 days to get an appt for my husband to have a tooth extracted. He was referred by his DDS to an Oral Surgeon. When I called, I gave all insurance information and explained that he is on Medicare and when they call for benefits, they have to get past the medical prompt (you are automatically sent there) but he has dental coverage thru my employer as well. They chose to do the exact opposite and argued with me when I tried to explain. I was given the phone number for Jax ER Dental by another office that I called who could not see him until mid Oct. When I called, Christine listened to me and had his coverage pulled online in minutes. He had an appt that day. He has Alzheimers disease so I was worried how it would go. He was very pleased. They were kind, patient, and the surgeon was gentle with him. My sister accompanied him as I had another appt. She was very impressed with the entire office staff. I could say more but running out of room. Best dental visit ever!

Went in today with a broken tooth. I was naturally nervous because it’s been a while since I’ve been to the dentist. The service and care I received was amazing. Everyone was nice and informative. Dr. Aaro made me feel very comfortable throughout my entire extraction process.

I had 4 of my wisdom teeth removed by Dr.Aaro and my experience was beyond my expectations. I have been having pain in my lower right wisdom tooth for 10 days. I have called from left to right practices to get me in all of them kept stating they can get me in for a consult than see if they can take the teeth out same day which some stated they really dont do same day exctractions as consults.. Being in pain this long is already too much and having hear practices say perhaps does October or November work for you just made it even more painful. I called Jacksonville Emergency on a Wednesday spoke with Lisa who was very informative and helpful even thoguh she was not in the same office where i planned to come, she advised best to do is complete paperwork online and do a walk in on Friday and I was brave enough to come on Friday! So lets really begin the process, up from my walk in and wait time probably 5 minutes i was taken in and had my x rays done and seated in my room , Dr.Aaro came few moments and explained what it would be best in my case. I believed in Dr.Aaros knowledge about the process and he reassured me I will be just fine and be ready to go back to work on Monday. I agreed to take all 4 wisdom teeth out. Dr.Aaro did mention they have the laughing gas which will help me calm down if I wanted. Did i take it ? YESS! Dr.Aaro and the hygienist/dental assistant were so professional during the process . I did not feel anything on the first 3 exctractions!!! My 4th one was slight discomfort but only because i had an a small infection but that discomfort was for few seconds only. I would recommend Dr.Aaro and his office for wisdom teeth extractions for sure. Today is my day 3 of recovery and I do not have any pain. YES, you read that correct no pain since my extraction. Im so glad I found this practice.. It is such a blessing to have found such a great dentist & team!

I found Jacksonville Emergency Dental through care credit after applying. I was a new patient and actually did a walk-in 9am Wednesday morning for tooth extraction (done by Dr. Michael Aaro), a success, he was amazing. I was in and out. This is day two, Im pain free (but taking ibuprofen) & healing well. Great place. Great people!

Dr. Aaro was great!! I was so nervous before having my tooth pulled yesterday but he made me feel at ease instantly! I was in and out in less than 30 minutes and the extraction itself took less than 5 minutes. He definitely knows what he is doing and takes care of his patients! For someone with severe anxiety and a fear that has kept them from the dentist over 6 years, it was the most amazing experience I’ve ever had! Everyone there was so kind and gentle and made me laugh throughout my root canal. I’ve never been so comfortable getting X-rays done, especially with a swollen jaw and a tooth radiating nerve pain from my head down to my neck. I’m not going anywhere else. I will pay out of pocket if my insurance doesn’t cover this place. It’s such a great dental office with amazing staff that I trust fully to continue with all my dental care from now on.

Excellent experience. I was able to get a same day appointment for a tooth extraction. The nurses and staff where so nice and the doctor presented my options with wonderful bedside manner. The price was affordable with no insurance. And all COVID-19 procedures were followed and I felt very safe.

Just had the most relaxed dentist visit of my life. I showed up as a walk in at 8am with pretty heavy tooth pain. After x-rays and a consult with the Dr. Aaro, he laid out my options. I had to go with getting one pulled due to how much root canals cost. Dr. Aaro was extremely communicative and talked through everything he did, as he did it, going so far as to pre-establishing how i should let him know he needs to stop in the case of pain, and letting me know what i should and should not be feeling inside my mouth while he worked so i would know if something wasnt right with the numbing. Amazing Professional Emergency Service! Called them on a Sunday and told them I had a broken wisdom tooth. I was in severe pain. They asked me to fill out a few simple forms online and come right down. I was in the chair within 15 minutes getting a shot to numb the pain and a minute later my blood curdling pain was completely gone. They pulled my broken wisdom tooth out and I never felt a thing. It has been over 3 days now and I am still totally pain free. I never knew such an Amazing service even existed. I did try calling the emergency service for my Florida Blue Dental PPO policy but they told me I did not qualify for emergency service because they did not have a Dentist assigned to me. Jacksonville Emergency Dental did not care if I had never been seen by them before or not. They were there for me when I needed them. My Insurance policy is only there for me when it is time to collect the next premium. Thank you Jacksonville Emergency Dental.
