I am 49 years old have been dealing with dental issues all my life! I have visited a few dentist and two oral surgeons during this time. My childhood dentist retired sold his practice so I remained with the new dentist he eventually closed his practice so through my family I found a new dentist who was been absolutely great to me and I have been using him for about the past 6 years. All have been pleasant No complaints The oral surgeons were a pleasant experience no complaints. Having said this Ive been looking into dental implants for years as I have dealt with bridges partials with special attachments so they couldnt be seen and ultimately and unfortunately full dentures so I decided to try David and Associates for the D5 implants because of the advertised quick turn around however I was very skeptical to say the least! Everyone else has told me its going to take at least a year as I needed bone to accommodate the implants. From the time I walked through the front doors of David and Associates I was greeted with friendly and compassionate people who understand what someone like myself has gone through and I never felt like a number or a dollar sign! I am here to tell you without a doubt that my life has changed and I regret not making the decision to visit David and Associates years ago. From the front desk, surgery center, materials and the equipment used the whole process is a game changer or a life changer the ad is 100% true Im here to tell you I had the worst case scenario of bone loss. The surgery for the implants was performed in one day and the most realistic temporary bridge as I call it was connected to the implants the very next day and no matter how much I thought it was perfect the David and Associates team member Steven whom took the parameters for my bridge did not like the look and with my consent had it remade so I returned the very next day to have the new bridge put in place at no extra cost to me, After the installation was performed I understood what Steven was talking about even though the other one to me was perfect.My permanent teeth are amazing and if I want to eat an apple Ill eat it! If want to take a bite out of a slice of pizza without My teeth popping out I can do that as well! The process is revolutionary and dentistry will never be the same as far as Im concerned it has been amazing! For folks waiting a year to a year and a half or longer or for people like me who did not want to go through the process of broken temporaries that are definitely going to have issues on a Saturday or holiday when the dentist office is closed that year and a half Youre waiting I recommend doing yourself a favor and not procrastinating as I did go visit David and Associates. If I knew what I knew today and I had to do it all over again I would have done this years ago.

I recently moved to Jacksonville from Louisville, KY. I worked in a dental office back home so I was nervous about trying a new office, but I must say David and Associates created an awesome experience for me ! I am SO happy that I stumbled across an ad for this location. My EDDA Tameka was so pleasant and efficient! I loved that I could see each of my X-rays on screen as she took them! Dr. David was very pleasant and informative! I was only expecting to have a new patient exam but everyone worked together to make sure I could also have my cleaning taken care of the same day! My Hygienist, Lisa was very thorough! She sent me home with a perfectly clean smile! I look forward to making this office part of my Florida family! I was very pleased !

My last visit 2 wks was ago is my last. A patient for many yrs, tremendous turnover there. Waited over an hr in chair for filling. Left. Made 2nd appt.. asst wasn’t trained, had procedure with dentist griping whole time.. Total agony for a week. Answering service every time. Week later, had appt to fix… which didn’t help.I’ve found a new dentist who has helped with my agonizing pain for over 2 wks.asked for X-rays taken in August to be sent to me.better luck winning a penny in the lottery. I hope they fix many issues for future patients . I should ask for a refund but I’m sure my call will be disconnected. As they’ve been in the last few days.

I feel that the dentist and technicians did not listen to my concerns. The final top denture they tried to give me did not fit at all, it fell out when I tried to smile. The teeth were set well in front of my gum line giving me a buck tooth appearance. Ive been told multiple times that this could only be corrected if I upgraded to implants. I refused to accept the dentures and have another appointment on Monday. Well see if they will be willing to make a proper fitting denture then.

Theres always a long wait, I think thats disrespectful, my time is as valuable as yours. My last visit I waited an hour, my average wait has been about 30-unacceptable. Ive never had an on -time appointment.With regards to care, Id give my doc a 10/ 10. Hes been fast, efficient and painless. My dental tech Gloria, has earned an 12/10. She worked so hard to make sure my flipper fitted perfectly. She came in before work one day to put on the finishing touches; so grateful for her skill and care. Highly recommend this group, only 4 stars for long waits.

My bottom plate that fit over four implants had gotten loose and I made an appointment. The lady that waited on me recommended a certain seal. She installed them in my plate. I put the plate in and it worked perfectly. My teeth has no movement and actually feels like my own teeth. I would like to thank her.

My daughter had been the highest bidder on a David and Associates voucher for a fundraiser that she gave me for Mother’s Day. She knew I needed some dental work and couldn’t afford it. My husband and I had both suffered from some major health problems over the past few years that I am just recovering from and they resulted in high medical bills. On top of it all, we lost a job with health insurance. When my daughter went in to pick up the voucher from David and Associates, she asked how long I had to use it and was told the voucher had no date on it purposefully and would be honored. Today, I went in to schedule an appointment with my voucher and they wouldn’t honor it. They said it expired even though there is no date on it and I explained the circumstances. My son had been a patient of Dr. David’s at one time, so I had experience there and was extremely disappointed. I know there are a lot of worse problems in the world, but I didn’t expect this from David and Associates.

David and Associates was by far the best dental office and experience we have dealt with in a very long time. The office is spacious and very clean.Our son is going through the process of braces and we were very pleased with the entire staff making sure we knew what to expect from the beginning to the end. After they were put on he was shown everything he needed to know on how to care for his teeth and braces. The entire staff was very knowledgeable and kind.

I was late for my appointment! and I did call to say I would be about 15 minutes late. My expectation was that I would probably be fitted in and that it would take hours! I was and it did not. Maybe 20 minutes later I was called into the initial consultation room. They took xrays quickly and before I knew it I was looking at them. Next thing I knew Dr. Joel David was walking into the room. He understood my situation and gave me his best opinion. I agreed and am moving forward with the process. I can hardly wait to see the final product. Several weeks ago, my crown fell off of the implant I got over a year ago. I called David & Associates and they worked me in same day. The crown wasnt damaged and it took about 5 min to cement it back in. When I got up to leave, they surprised me with a $100 invoice. I told them that I had not been informed there would be a charge when I made the appointment and I hadnt asked about a charge, as me and my husband both bought our implants with a warranty. Lindsay told me I wouldnt have to pay the money, but David and Associates no longer offers warranties on their implants. I could understand NEW customers, but customers that made their decision to purchase their implants based on the fact they were told they were under warranty should have their warranties. Lindsay was very nice and said she would have Crystal, the office manager get with me regarding warranty. I never heard back from Crystal, so I sent an email and left a phone message - still havent heard a word. I waited to do this review to see if Crystal, would get back with me, which is why I rated this company with a 3. Service after the sale stinks.

Everyone was kind and all were very helpful ,I also was impressed that it didnt take long for the dentist to see me unlike other places that makes you wait over an hour to just sit in the chair .

There isn’t a doctor to do exams after 5. I haven’t seen the dentist in TWO years but I’ve been there for two exams with cleaning and one other cleaning in the two years. (3 visited total) If there isn’t a doctor available after five they should not be open! Come to find out our favorite hygienist is no longer there!

Everyone from the receptionist to Dr. Joel David were very friendly & knowledgeable in their profession. No question I asked went unanswered, and if someone didnt know the exact answer to provide, they were honest enough to inform me that they would find out, instead of giving me misleading information.

I don’t give out reviews, however this time is a must. I was taken back to room 3 minutes from appt. time and preparation started immediately. DR. David explained every step of the procedure with visual and took time to answer each question. He is the best dentist I have ever been to. The office is extremely clean and spacious. His staff is very knowledgeable and courteous too. 10 stars is more appropriate.

In January of 2019, I had all of my teeth pulled, and had implants and full dentures inserted at the cost of $33,000. David and Associates contracted to do the work and maintain the dentures providing that any warranty would be void if anyone else did any work to the teeth. After locking me into a position that requires that only they can provide dental services, they have routinely failed to keep all but one of my appointments, calling days before the appointment date to cancel and reschedule. I schedule my life activities around my appointments. To consistently fail to keep an appointment and constantly having to reschedule indicates poor management and places undue hardship on me. It seems that theyve gotten the big money, they dont care about me as a customer, but they dont want me to go to someone who will provide quality care. I have asked that they refer me to someone who can maintain my teeth but they refuse to do so, yet they cant do it when they commit to.

I had a great experience at this office. I have a great deal of anxiety when it comes to going to the dentist. But the staff and doctors made the experience great. I would definitely recommend this office!

This was our first visit and the last visit. We were told that they would verify the insurance and if there was a problem, they would let us know. We did not hear anything so we went there and they said they could not verify so we canceled. We waisted two hours of our time and energy. Dont waist your time.

By far the worst and most unprofessional dentistry Ive ever had the displeasure of working with.After giving me the run-a-around for over 6 months regarding maintenance and cleaning of my existing implants I received a call from them to inform me that they were not interested in having me for a customer. I can only assume theyre only interested in patients who need complete implant procedures which is where they make their money not someone who already has implants and simply wanted to have them properly serviced and cleaned.The place is run like a meat market and for the three times I had the displeasure of going to their office it was easy to see how dysfunctional the entire operation was. Clearly they are only interested in turnover and the level of attention you receive is purely based on what youre prepared or capable of spending.Luckily for me I still live in the best country in the world and therefor have options. Ill find a professional dentistry run by professional people who are looking for patients they can establish life lasting relationships with instead of what I encountered at David and Associates which was more like a drive-through dentistry. In retrospect it now makes sense why they are located in a shopping plaza next to a super Wal-Mart.Its important to learn from every experience in life good or bad and its equally important to share those experiences with others. If youre planning to have dental work done I STRONGLY recommend looking elsewhere because I wouldnt send my worst enemy to this place. I gave them one star but only because the system wouldnt allow me to post unless I did.

My appointment for implant maintenance did not go well. The technician did not have the proper tools available, perhaps due to overbooking. The staff was pleasant and professional throughout the ordeal. However, this was by far my worst experience with your office.

My Annual visit was 04/30/21, and I love the staff they are wonderful, but the only problem I have is that when they caped with the glue to cover the holes, they came out the next day. I live in Kissimmee and it takes me 2 an half hrs to get there. I called the office to see if I can go to the other office in Altamonte, I was told that they are associated with them anymore. So now I have to go again to Jacksonville. I wish they had something better for the covering of the holes. I had the D5 upper and lower. Other then that the staff is awesome.

Well i have to say it has been a very difficult time getting over the swelling and discomfort i have had. Im on day 5 right now after surgery and couldnt be happier with the results. It is very much worth it and I would recommend it to anyone else that needs major work done fast and for a reasonable price too.

Worst experience I ever had with a dentis my implants broke 15 times it is not teeth in a day Ive been there over 30 times and we live several hours away they are aware of this frustrating to try to get an appointment they do not keep their word they twist things around after they pocket the money to a tune of $30,000 and they try to avoid us they do not want to fix the damage they done unless they think theyre going get thousands more and then they changed the tune again after they do not get the money very rude and nasty again for an added procedure that is unnecessary when the $30,000 that was paid the first time not even 2 years teeth should be perfect in the first place beware do not give them your money they are liars and crooks extremely dangerous to your to your health be careful and I am going to do everything in my power to expose them and save another innocent person the heartache and health issues

I’ve been going there for years it’s a great experience. My hygienist this last time was awesome.

They couldnt do the procedure, they got paid for, from the insurance company and me on 12/01/2020. Its 03/26/21 and they refuse to send the insurance company, a correction letter and refund. So, I havent been able to go to another dentist to get my teeth fixed. They told me they couldnt do the job, and was going to give me a refund and send the correction letter. Never happened, they been giving me the run around for months.

They have the latest appointments at 6 so I was able to go after work/didn’t have to use PTO. Check in was pleasant/clean/efficient. I opted to wait in my car. The wait was very short, they called me to come in and per usual the hygienist Ms.J was a doll. After my cleaning the checkout process was quick and easy and there was plenty of availability for my follow up appt and to schedule my fillings. I have only been twice but so far I have gone from dreading the dentist to enjoying my visits and my teeth are better for it. Their wonderful bedside manner is rare in dental care but I’m very thankful I found them.

Waited an hour but the hygienist was great.

Took my mom (91) with broken/cracked tooth. They referred us to another place off Bartram Park to see if the tooth could be saved. Was told before we went they may do a scan to see the severity of the crack and if the tooth could be saved, a root canal would be in order, if not they would pull it. Got thru the Bartram visit with a scan, tooth could not be saved and when I said well then it has to be pulled. Dr promptly told me she doesn’t pull teeth. I was livid. They called back to David & Assoc to see about coming back there to get it pulled but only one dr on duty. After paying 308.00 at the Bartram office, now we have to wait thru the weekend with massive pain to go back to David & Assoc on Monday and pay another 304.00 to have the tooth extracted. IMO Bartram was unnecessarily to send an elderly patient on a fixed income and then and more debt on the Monday visit. This is unacceptable. We could have had this done when we were here Thursday instead of the pain for an additional 4 day. Don’t know if we will return in the future.

Very friendly staff and super informative! Answered all my questions! I visited 5 different dentists because of the hell I went through with a past dentist. I was nervous to say the least. Dr.David was so patient, went through everything step by step and explained all my options.After all the consultations I decided to go with David and Associates.Crystal, the practice manager and Cheri the treatment coordinator went over everything and helped me with all my insurance claims.Ms. Paulina, Dr. David’s right hand lady during my procedure is absolutely amazing. Before, during and after my D5 procedure she has been there for me. She truly went above and beyond to make me comfortable and happy with my new beautiful smile.If you need work done check them out. I promise you won’t regret it!

Came in with a broken tooth yesterday. The doctor says that tooth cannot be saved and needs extraction then implant. Im assuming my insurance will cover it but the lady in the office says they dont charge insurance companies for implants and wants me to pay $3295 up front. Theres no one that has that kind of money upfront. You gotta be kidding me. Wanted to get tooth extracted cuz of the pain but they cant fit me in till May 11th cuz apparently the doctor is taking a vacation. So she prescribed me 30 pills of amoxicillin that I gotta take 3 times a day for 10 days. May 11th from April 20th is longer than 10 days but looks like they only care about money rather than how much a person is in pain. The place is full of doctors and apparently only 1 our of all of them can perform procedures? Then what the heck do the other doctors do? Thats utterly ridiculous

I absolutely loved my first experience with David & Associates!!! The customer service was superb!! Everyone was so very pleasant. I was there for a second opinion. Even though I didnt get the exact news I wanted to get, they were very informative and kind. I left the office with a smile and with confidence knowing that all was going to be well and I had definitely walked into the right dentistry office. I just wanted to give a special thanks to Jimmy, Dr. Phillips and Lindsey. You made me a raving fan. I also look forward to meeting my surgeon, Dr. Noortheok. Also, another little jewel I forgot to mention were these scrabble pieces that were sitting on the desk that spelled out, YOU GOT THIS. This was very helpful when I received the not so great news and tears began to well up in my eyes. That little jewel (that is what I am calling it) meant more to me than they could have imagined. In conclusion, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND David & Associates for all your dentistry needs.

I have had two visits with them so far but I really like it there! The dentist was very kind, objective about the state of my dental health and gave me a comprehensive plan of care regarding the dental work that would benefit my health. When I asked about more cosmetic dental work he gave me some options to think about but he reinforced that it was not needed structurally. When I went to checkout they gave me many payment options and had already spoke with my insurance company since I filled out the forms online a week prior to my appointment. The wait time didnt seem very long and the hours they have available for appointments were very helpful for my work so I didnt even have to take any PTO to see them although thats very reliant on my personal job hours. Overall all the employees and staff have been good and I look forward to continuing my care with them!

Terrible this place is only after your money. I was scheduled for a cleaning and teeth whitening , which was part of my original treatment plan from July 2020 but them when i arrived for my appointment they said they had to do another new patient exam , even though i have been a patient for months. After the exam the refused to do my teeth cleaning , claiming i needed some special cleaning that insurance won’t cover and would require me to go back every 3 months for cleaning (also not covered by insurance). When i told them i did not want this special cleaning that i would have to pay for out of pocket just to do regular cleaning and teeth whitening that i was originally scheduled for they refused to honor my appointments. They would not let me talk to an actual doctor to confirm what they were saying about my treatment plan and were extremely unhelpful in trying to resolve the situation. Do not recommend this place to anyone unless you are loaded and don’t care about money.

Everyone was extremely nice during my appointments. I had a bone graft and am having implants placed once graft heals and I received a bottom full implant. I was super nervous and almost backed out but I am so pleased I didn’t pain was almost nonexistent and my implant teeth on the bottom feel almost like real teeth. I am so excited to come back and finish all of it. Don’t hesitate if your thinking about doing the D5 best choice I have ever made. Wonderful people and wonderful results

My hygienist Lisa DeCicco did an outstanding job on my dental cleaning. She was very thorough and had great customer service. She eased my anxiety. She was the absolute best ♥️

I am beginning my journey to a beautiful smile... So far everyone has been very warm and friendly... The office manager Crystal worked to make the work I need affordable... I felt very comfortable with Dr. David... He was very easy to talk to and I could tell that he has been making pretty smiles for many years!!! Ill be back to share my final experience!!!

I really loved coming to David and Associates for my dental cleaning. It was my first time and they made sure to do a full scan before recommending treatment. They were so thorough, on time with the appointment and everyone was so nice and knowledgeable. They were always engaging with me. I usually struggle to go to the dentist because they hurt my gums in the process but Andrea (dental hygienists) was sooo careful not to hurt me. She was very friendly and any questions I had she would provide me answer and examples on how to properly clean my teeth. I truly, truly appreciate that. It was really great to also have Dr. David come do an assessment before my cleaning. Everyone was hands on deck and it was a wonderful experience.

I enjoyed my cleaning appointment today with Marlene. She is very thorough and kind. She truly cares about her patients. Dr Philips came in to read x-rays and do my exam. He is also very kind and a pleasure to see.

The first year of being with David and Associates was truly a nightmare and was not going to go back for my final set of dentures which were already paid for in full. I now see dr. Sabino and his/tech and have much hope of a good outcome. Dr. Sabino and his tech have shown me more care and kindness then the other Dr and techs I was previously seeing there. Thank you Dr. Sabino and your assistant/tech!!!!

I needed braces ( im 40) and I decided to go with D&A. Great decision! Dr. Oulette is one of my favs and the entire staff is very knowledgeable and patient. I have been here since July 2020 and I have zero complaints.** I also love how diverse this location is. It was nice to see doctors who look like me providing top notch dental care. Highly recommend!
