Where do I start… well to start I just want to say how grateful I am to have had such a great experience with such an amazing staff. I was worried about getting surgery for the process of an implant, but after today I’m just so relieved and thankful. Everything went so well, and I’m excited for the next step. I had the absolute best experience with Dr. Arauz! I’ve had 2 surgeries with him to help my gums and they both turned out better than I expected. I had a couple complications with bleeding during recovery, which was very scary. My mouth started bleeding in the middle of the night. I just called Dr. Araruz and he met me at the office at 7 am on a Saturday and fixed me right up. I feel very safe and in great hands with him and his staff. They always remember me, are so friendly, and welcoming. He has really helped get my gums healthy and bring back my confidence in my teeth. I feel lucky to have a dentist like him in our community!!

I had a great experience at the Dentist office of Dr. Jose Arauz 6/2/2021. As I always do I have been a patient here for a long time. I have had several different Dental Hygienist and all have shown the same professional service. All personnel from arrival to the end have always friendly, courteous and helpful. I would enthusiastically recommend Dr. Arauz and his staff to anyone needing any dental care.

I can not say enough good things about Dr. Arauz! I had a unique situation with an issue with an old crown, we had to do an initial procedure followed up with some smaller ones to prepare for the new crown. He was patient with me and listened to all my concerns since it was my front tooth area and went above and beyond to make sure it was perfect for me! HIGHLY RECOMMEND going to Dr Arauz!

Sought out Dr. Arauz after complications with my wisdom teeth extraction. I had developed an infection and was required to have a debridement. I was still sick and in extreme pain from drainage over the weekend following my second surgery. I was unable to get ahold of my oral surgeon but was able to speak to Dr. Arauz on the phone that Saturday morning. Even though I wasn’t a patient, he took the time to listen to my concerns and symptoms. I fully understand that it was the weekend and my oral surgeon has a family but so does Dr. Arauz. It was an emergency and I felt relieved that he wasn’t dismissive or allowed hubris to get in the way of taking me seriously. He said he would be more than happy to fit me on Monday if I wanted to follow up with him. I felt like he was a good choice even though he is periodontist and not specifically an oral surgeon because he has his DMD and graduated from Case Western Reserve University just like my Oral surgeon and the reviews I saw online were encouraging. I noticed right away when stepping into the office that he puts money into his practice, not just his pockets, by the beautiful and tasteful art work along with brand new equipment and a well versed staff. At my appointment he was very patient and thorough, not trying to rush off to treat someone else. I have two follow up appointments with him this week to further address why the site is still not healing properly and I feel comforted and hopeful by his proficient expertise.

They canceled my Appointment because I was 15 min late in severe pain and needed a tooth pulled I can’t wait until Tuesday for another appointment!! Lesson learned !!!!! This is how the medical profession is lately $$$$$$$! Granted their was no console fee, when some ones in pain you make it work!!!!!

Search no more. Dr.Aruz is first class, his knowledge and experience for periodontal issues and correction are second to none. He has a welcoming presence, nice confidence. A great doctor has a fantastic staff. From your initial phone call to make your appointment to when you are done with your appointment you will interface with very pleasant, competent individuals who have your care as their first concern.

A great Dentist and staff

This was my first visit to Dr. Arauz and it was a consult visit. I will share that I was impressed with how his staff and he approached and spoke with me. Not only did they review my charts they listened to the details of my preceding procedures and what I have done to take care of my dental health. I look forward to my follow up appointments to come up with a treatment plan.

I was recommended to Dr. Arauz from my regular dentist due to extensive cleaning I needed. His staff is always amazing and very friendly. Will help you with everything and explain payment options. Dr. Arauz made me feel comfortable and helped with all the work I needed done. I would highly recommend to anyone who needs more than just a basic cleaning.

The thought of having periodontal surgery was my worst nightmare! Dr. Arauz is the most wonderful doctor you can ever imagine! He is calm, he listens, and he explains. I have had the good fortune of being referred to Dr. Jose Arauz, DMD for my recent dental care. I enjoy the fact that he works in concert with my dentist. I am a dental coward and was quite nervous and anxiety laden. I found his offices to be extremely clean and well appointed, and his staff to be very, very kind and caring and most of all; helpful. I enjoy simple things like leaving the office with written instructions so I am not forced to try and recall all I was told, prescriptions ready, pre-authorizations for insurance so I know the amount I owe beforehand, and the availability to contact should I need care or specific instruction on an issue after hours. It is my opinion that the prices at this office are more than fair and the quality of the work is beyond expectations. I am extremely confident in his knowledge and abilities and technical skills, and I understand Id have to travel far to find a more competent provider for periodontal and implant dental care. Dr. Arauzs office offers sedation for complicated dental surgery. The hygienists at this office are some of the best Ive ever encountered. I do not have one complaint as the folks in this office are fair and honest and make you feel valued and welcome. I feel like they really enjoy their work.

Dr. Arauzs office and staff are the friendliest I have met in a very long time. They take the time to explain things if you are unsure and they always explain the procedures in the fullest extent. I usually dont leave reviews, but if i could i would leave 10 stars. l have bone lost around my teeth and just had osseous and bone replacement grafts on lots of my teeth. Dr Arauz did an amazing job. Usually, Im very scared of any kind of surgery, but i wasnt nervous at all the day of the surgery because I knew I was in good hands. Not only is Dr Arauz knowledgeable, professional, kind, caring and very patient so is his staff. They are all super friendly and so patient with me. If you need any periodontal work done look no more, Dr Arauz is the best and I totally trust him.

I love Dr. Arauz and his entire staff. I just had my third procedure there, and each one went perfectly. The staff is always professional and caring, and Dr. Arauz takes great care of his patients. Maybe he could learn to be a little gentler with the novacaine???

He has the best ladies working for him and Jill who cleaned my teeth, she gave me my first really perfect tooth cleaning I have ever had. Jose is extremelyintelligent and well spoken. He walked me through a 3D explanation of my upcoming procedure, and gave me instructions on prior care and cleaning of my teeth leading up to my procedure date. Although the office seems small on the outside, they make excellent use of the inside.

Dr. Arauz and his staff are excellent. They are friendly and helpful in that they explain all procedures before hand and are careful during treatments. The front desk is also very friendly on arrival and helpful with my insurance questions .

Dr Aruz is compassionate with his patients, like a doctor taking care of a family member. He saved me from major infection initially and now my gums are otw to being healthy. He has a plan for future implant as I continue to progress.. I trust him to do whatever he recommends. Just go for consultation and you will see at first visit, he and his staff are wonderful.

Dr. Arauz goes above and beyond for his patients! A family member had to have extractions quickly due to needing medical treatment. His office was able to see us within a few days! He performed the extractions and used special techniques to allow for optimal healing in a short amount of time. No swelling and little to no post-op pain was experienced after removing three teeth! It was the best dental experience we have ever had! I highly recommend Dr. Arauz!!!

Today I had another great visit at Dr Arauz. This was second visit with Laurie and she was awesome again. Since I have braces, she always takes the extra steps and care to make sure the procedures are done correctly. I have never felt any pain or discomfort from either of my visits. The best Periodontal Surgeon in Jacksonville (in my opinion)! He has taken outstanding great care of my gums for over a decade now. Im prone to gum infections and he has kept mine healthy and infection free. He has a very efficient, professional and friendly staff. I enthusiastically recommend him.

When I was first referred to Dr Arauz I was welcomed with open arms and warm beautiful smiles! While I was terrified of my dental changes, and a little embarrassed to be honest, I was educated on not only my periodontal disease but also how my autoimmune disease has affected my periodontal health. Every staff member i have met since December has been amazing! I appreciate everyone in this office and I am so grateful to have a team that wants to help me. My experience with most dentists have been mediocre. Usually, it feels like Im just getting moved along as quickly as possible. This was not the case at Dr. Arauzs office. Customer service and excellent clinical care are both very present at this practice. My entire family comes here! This place is awesome!!!

There are not enough good things to say about Dr. Arauz and his entire staff. I have had cleanings and oral surgery there, with exceptional results. Dr. Arauz, at each visit, took time to explain the procedure and patiently answered my many questions and eased my anxiety. His manner is calm, kind, and professional. Everything went without a hitch and exactly as he had explained. His hygienist, Jessica, is absolutely amazing! She took extra time, not only to ensure my comfort level and understanding, but educated me about oral/dental health more clearly than it has ever been explained. Juanita is really great at helping with the financial aspects and made suggestions as well. Alaina and Laura, in the front office, greet you with friendly smiles, check you in and out, and make sure that things happen in a timely manner- as well as having great phone skills, which we all know many people do not. Sarah and Allison, the assistants who helped Dr. Arauz in the exams and procedure, are very skilled in what they do and also good at calming nervous people! I have never had to wait more than a few minutes after arriving and everything was pain free and took less time than they projected. Though I have not interacted with everyone there, from my experience, I’m sure they are all excellent. If I’ve missed someone, I apologize, because they all deserve to be recognized. I highly recommend Dr. Arauz and his staff to anyone needing special dental health care.

Staff lack education and knowledge when it comes to handling referrals and obtaining coverage information. Office Staff agreed to submit information to my insurance company, but could not get pass the verification process.
