Dr is not cooperative. He does not explain properly. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone, I will change the dr next year.

This was my first visit for my eye exam and my sons. We were pleased with the customer service from the front desk and they were very attentive to my needs. Dr Blom answered all my questions and we were there for a reasonable time. Thank you for the exceptional service.

From the moment I walked in the door everything was excellent. Braden in the front area has helped me before find the perfect glasses and helped fix my sunglasses that had broken a while back. I was nervous coming to try on contacts and he encouraged me before I went in and when I came out. His enthusiasm for his job is palpable and he really does do a phenomenal job. The woman who helped me put in the contacts and take them out (please forgive me for not catching her name) was incredible and so patient. I know it must have been aggravating to sit while I took forever to get the hang of it. She never once got visibly frustrated or annoyed. She was kind and patient. Dr. Armitage was wonderful as well. He took his time and was thorough, and never made me feel rushed. Everyone at the front desk has been kind and patient as well. I appreciate that they make several appointments for the contacts to make sure they fit and are working well for you. I live in Yulee and will gladly drive an hour to be seen here because of everyone. Everyone is very kind and helpful and I really appreciate everyone there.

Enjoyed the exam with the doctor. Gave me some excellent insight on what was going on with my aging eyes. Glad that my eyes passed the exam.

Dr. Walker was fantastic. He got my eyes where they needed to be and explained everything thoroughly. The front office staff was helpful and courteous. Definitely will visit again!

On time with my appointment. The doctor was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions and showed me images and explained things so I could see what he was saying and how it related to me specifically. He did not recommend things for me I did not need just to make additional money. The staff that helped me select my glasses was knowledgeable about the inventory and helped me find what I really wanted within my budget. They also understood what my insurance would cover so there was not a lot of back and forth. Truly great experience. Highly recommend!!

Great location. The doctor was friendly and professional and listened to my concerns and answered my questions. The front reception gentleman was also professional and courteous. The cost was less than I expected for the exam.My new prescription isn’t quiet right but they asked me to continue to wear it for a week before I can come back for a prescription check. A little 🙁 bummed.

The receptionists were a little abrasive and not warm at all but the dr (Jason Rice) was amazing. He had his ears open, listened to all of our concerns, and provided the best plan of care to match our needs. He was very gentle and welcoming. We look forward to continuing our service with him.

The Dr., the contact lens fitting specialist & the glasses / frames fitting specialists were excellent! The reception gentleman who gave me the forms was short, rude & even rolled his eyes at me as was the pre-exam lady. It seems they were annoyed because I brought my 11 y/o with me even though I had asked if it was ok to do so on my appointment confirmation call the day before because she also needed to get glasses. The two of them made my child feel very uncomfortable which upset me greatly & made me feel powerless to protect her. I almost walked out of my appointment because of their behavior. I hope I never have to interact with them again & certainly will not bring my children somewhere where they’re treated as unwelcome by people who apparently don’t have so don’t like children.

I felt the medical receptionists could have been friendlier..When I first came in, I felt as though I had annoyed them by just coming in and having to stop their chat..The doctor however was very pleasant and knowledgeable

Had an appointment at 5:00 pm arrived on time and to expedite the process brought the new patient paperwork already filled out, they said sit and we will call you when you can come in, it was 5:50 when they finally called me in, I mean 50 minutes of waiting time is disrespectful

Never had an issue here. Dr. Walker is seriously the coolest eye doctor ever. Such a nice guy and very passionate about his work. The receptionist and staff have always been great as well. Theyre also very quick and efficient. Much better than any eye doctor Ive had before.

Staff not professional. Scamming elderly.My mom went in for a routine exam. Her caregiver was with her and filled out all of her paperwork. Not one time did they mention price or tell us that we must send the receipt to insurance to be reimbursed. How hard is it to disclose that information prior to providing a service.Top it off they took the bill to my mom in the back room to have her pay. Not to her caregiver.REALLY....... How you treat your customer will bring them back. Dont go there.

If I could give Dr. Walker more than 5 stars, I would. He was the best eye doctor that I have seen :)

I saw Dr. Connolly about a month ago on a Monday and let me just say she saved my life! She saw something abnormal in my eye exam and reccomended I go straight to the ER. I did that and the idiot ER doctor sent me home and said I need to see an Ophthalmologist not be in the hospital. Next day I saw an ophthalmologist and she recommended an MRI ( like Dr. Connolly originally did) and my insurance wouldn’t approve it so by Friday they called me and said I needed to go back to the ER. I went in to the ER on Sunday and turns out I had 2 brain tumor and I had surgery on Wednesday and now I’m 3 weeks post op at home recovering. So Dr. Connolly if you’re reading this thank you so much for saving my life! You’re awesome and I really appreciate you!

I give it a 3 only because the DR was great front office staff were very rude non personal and curt. I will not be going back to this office.

This review is NOT about the Dr here because she was awesome! However the girls at the front desk this is who the review is about they over charged me for my exam without telling me or reviewing what they were gonna do then when i went back to question it they told me i signed for it which i did but still this was my first time coming here and I’ve been with the same Dr for 3 years and they always go over everything that I’m getting done, I hate that I had to leave the doctors office however they did not except my new insurance so I came here because they excepted my insurance But they did a horrible job at communicating here I will never go back here!!****Update: NO I WOULD NOT LIKE TO GIVE YOU ALL A SECOND CHANCE! IT SHOULD OF BEEN DONE CORRECT THE FIRST VISIT!!!

Dr. Walker is my eye Doctor and has been for many years he always makes it an enjoyable experience. I highly recommend him for his experience and knowledge and would not trust my eyes to anyone else.

BEWARE THEY TAKE ADAVANTAGE OF THE ELDERLY!!!!! Worst customer service I have ever received. My elderly Mother-in-law came in for a random eye check and provided all of her insurance paperwork and at the end of the exam they said we dont take your insurance and it will be $200 for a 5 minute visit. This is HORRIBLE SERVICE and beyond disturbing. My Mother-in-law has been here several times in the past and her insurance was never an issue. But they waited until after the exam to tell us it wasnt acceptable. Shes on a fixed income and doesnt have money to spend $200 on a wimb. PLEASE BEWARE USING THIS COMPANY, THEY TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE ELDERLY!!!!

I was treated wonderfully. The doctor was nice and had a sense of humor and made me feel comfortable. The office staff was extremely friendly and helpful as well.

Been going here 11 years. Its very convenient and I like the doctors and feel I get a good exam. Every year pricing increases but I stay for the doctors. That ends today, tried to get an explanation on why a $70 fitting fee for contacts when they didnt sit with me and fit them for me today. Lady at desk was so rude. Christina . And after I understood the charges and yet didnt agree with them, I said thank you, yet she just hung up on me. Called back and informed other employee how she hung up on me and was rude. Again. I like the doctors there, yet I am done dealing every year with rude customer service people.

Office staff refuse to call Tricare for eye exam authorizations. But they call, text and email to schedule appointments every fall.

My wife likes the selection and prices at Lens Crafters. This optometrist is located inside of the Lens Crafters store. The staff were not friendly at all. Once my wife went back to the exam room our son (5 years old) wanted to be with his Mom. When I asked the ladies at the front desk which exam room she was in they had no idea and made it clear me and my son should wait outside. After calling my wifes phone and finding out which room she was in I headed to the back un-escorted. I think the last knew she had iritated me and not to block my path.They could improve on their customer service and customer experience. If you can...I would suggest going somewhere else for your exam.

Extremely rude when I called on the phone to make an appointment, for no apparent reason.

Do not go there.They charge me more and after even without sending bill by mail or calling me they send my information to collection agency for only $20..This is affecting my credit score.No Clinic ever did this.

In and out in less than thirty minutes. Doctor got my vision to 20/15.
