Have You Notice a big turn over there? I have, people have left. Mrs Parks needs to have a rethink about how to treat her employees. Since I have had Grandchild in this daycare, many employees have left. Please dont use this day care and have Your children or Grandchildren submitted to hearing yelling at grown adults. These hard workers deserve better!!!

My son started daycare for the first time at 3yrs old at Parks Place. My family was nervous as he had no previous experience with structured learning environments or social interactions with children his age. We were quickly put at ease. He loves going to this school! The staff is very friendly, and welcoming and has been a great help with potty training. They have an easy to use app that keeps you informed on all updates and important reminders as well as sending cute unexpected pictures of your little one. I would definitely recommend this center to anyone looking for reliable, professional, safe childcare!

This daycare is a joke and a nightmare for any children.my son has been only a week and 3 days in vpk and my son already got bullied. No one has try to fix the problem. The teacher was changed to one called Michelle .there is no Communication between staff . You leave a message and they don’t let the teacher know

I am completely amazed at how much my two sons are learning and they want to go to daycare and pre k in the mornings. I was very apprehensive of placing my boys in daycare during the pandemic and also because they have never been to daycare but my boys love it here. All of the staff and Mrs. Parks have been very attentive, professional and caring. You can really tell how much they love children and it’s absolutely wonderful. My kids will definitely be staying here until kindergarten:)

Currently, I am a member of the staff. I can honestly say that I enjoy what Im doing here. In 2007, I was a part of the first graduating class for VPK. They always treat me as though I were a member of their family! I adore all of the kids. Its a fun place to learn new things. I enjoy interacting with the children and learning about their unique characters.

I am a teacher at Parks Place for the ones, and I can truly say it is amazing working here. The environment is so positive and everyone is so supportive. All the kids have a schedule that everyone follows and everyone has fun doing so. If I had kids I would definitely put them here cause they can do and learn so much.

My daughter loves it here! She is excited about school everyday. Staff is very attentive and I love that they have the kids participate in different events like the election and black history month. Highly recommend.

My now 13 year old previously attended Parks Place so I knew me having my 3 year old was going to be a great choice. The staff are always professional, friendly and keeps you in the know about everything. I am excited and blessed to have my daughter have a wonderful teacher and be surrounded by a staff who really cares.

I absolutely LOVE Parks Place. Im one of those Call all the time moms. They never make me feel like im bothering them or getting on their nerves by calling so much-I just really love my baby. Thank Goodness they understand that.Id also like to add that my son hurt his leg on the playground the other day and when I texted Mrs. Parks ( the owner) she called me later that night-it was around 9pm to check in on him and to ask me about what happened. I have had many positive experiences here but this blew me away. Mrs. Parks really does care about the children and their well being. I was highly impressed that she called at night to check in on him to make sure he was ok. I dont think any other daycare director/owner would do that.

As a teacher at Parks Place Learning Center and being in the field of child care for over thirty year. The thing I like the most is the diversity of Children and Staff. The owners give back to the center , the families and the community . An establishment which give back speak volume.

My children have been involved with Park’s Place since 2019. I never have to or had to worry about the safety of my children. When my daughter attended the VPK program, Park’s Place made sure their teaching style aligned with my daughters learning style. During the onset of Covid, Park’s Place made sure their policy adhered to Covid guidelines. I strongly recommend Park’s Place daycare for your daycare and after-school needs.

As a staff person, its always busy at Parks Place. Thats only because they arrive to bring the best service and care to the parents and the children and I think thats something to be very proud of and very admirable.

My Granddaughter Looooves Parks Place and gets upset when she has stay home days (the weekend). They have structure and a great schedule which is a must for my little one.

I’m so glad I was able to keep my son at this wonderful daycare at first there a slight misunderstanding but the owner sat with me and adjusted the problem and made sure we were able to keep my little one enrolled I love the many activities they have for the kids weekly that involved the parents also such an amazing daycare with amazing kind staff

She left a falsified review for a restaurant, where her husband Maxwell Roberson, a driver for UberEats, was picking up food to be delivered to the restaurant’s client.In her Yelp Review, she claims to have been present at the restaurant as a patron at the time her husband was picking up food for delivery at 9:30am on Wednesday 1/13/21. What a strange coincidence!!!There was no one else at the restaurant at the time except for the driver and the owner and we have video surveylance to prove it.Question is: can your Learning Center be trusted with caring for children when Yunetta’s integrity is outright questionable!??

Today was the first day of school for my son. When I picked him up the first thing he told me was Mom, I had so much fun today!. He continued to tell me about the other children and how nice they were to him. I am excited for him to go to Parks Place, I know he will have a great time and learn many things.

My daughter has been going to Park’s place since she was 4 months old, she’s now 4 years old and I can’t imagine recommending any daycare other than park’s place learning center for new moms.

The employees are very Professional nice and takes Great care of ALL kids not just mine !! My son gas never been inside before and they welcomed him as if he was a student ! And gave him a piece of educational material to take home as well !!

Both of my daughters (ages 2 and 5) have been attending Park Place for the last 2 years and it has been a great experience. The teachers love and care for the kids like theyre their own and they teach them a lot. They also give classes to the parents from time to time on topics like parenting or communication with your children. I would recommend Parks Place to anyone looking for a family type environment with a strong focus on education.

I have currently been an Employee at Parks Place daycare and learning center for eight years. I have enjoyed working there as a Three year old Teacher and now a Supervisor/Assistant Director . From the very first day the family originated environment blew me away. Parks place staff members are very loving and the children is always their first priority. Parks Place daycare and learning is also a NAEYC accredited and Apple accreditation center . The staff always have everything documented and filed. If there are any incidents , we as mandatory reporters and have incidents forms on file ready. The safety of the children is number one priority . The children is on a detailed and fair learning curriculum. we love for the children to learn a variety of things in different forms . For example , we do Christmas around the world packets and Hundred day of school . Mrs. Parks the owner of Parks Place , is very hands on with the center . she has not only encouraged the teachers and I to embrace our talents and skills in childcare but she also has inspired myself and others how to be a Good leader and to rise above all. Her involvement in the community is tremendous . Our parents and children participate in social activities as well. such as , donating to churches , charities and reading books at the nursing home. Mrs.parks also seem to blow everyone away with creative Ideas that are not only fun but extremely educational . Parks Place is a mixture of both entertaining and educational. Our goal is to ensure the child safety and for every child to accomplish their developmental domains.

My daughter has been attending parks place for about 6 months now and I love it! Its hard to find a good daycare center that will take care of your kids like you would and Parks Place is it! The hours are great (especially with my crazy schedule they are available ), the staff is always helpful &a super nice and Mr. & Mrs. Parks are like family they are simply amazing and heaven sent.

Teaching children this age is wonderful because they are eager to learn. Every day is an new experience for me and I enjoy learning . There is team building, team work and support from staff when you need it. My wife and I are both pleased and thankful for the care and learning experiences provided to our two grandsons at Parks Place Daycare & Learning Center. Their teachers and faculty are always friendly and cheerful when we visit to pick up or drop off the boys for daycare and for VPK. And the boys tell us about the fun that they have at Parks Place, and show and tell us about what they learned and did that day. My wife and I also enjoy participating in their family-oriented events and outings. Such a wonderful, caring place for little ones.

Being a teacher at Parks Place Daycare and Learning Center has been an upmost joy for me. We create a safe and nurturing environment for your children to learn. Our curriculum is educational and challenging for the children. There are classes for every age group ranging from Infants to VPK. Parks Place gets your children ready for Kindergarten. Overall I’ve had a very great experience here and highly recommend this as a first class daycare.

I am a Professional. I was looking for a professional day care to work at. I have worked at Head starts and Day Care facilities that are accredited and are highly recommended. When I walked into Parks Place I saw the complete opposite. First of all my interview was scheduled by Mrs. Parks (the owner) at 10am. I walked in at 9:57am when I introduced myself and said I was here for an interview she she said oh its 10 already and looked surprised and bothered that I was 3 min. Early. Later she asked me to sit in the kids library (that only had toddler chairs to sit on) while she looked for an application. It took her 15+ min to finally get the application in my hands. At around 10:30am another person walked in and I saw she was also filling out an application. When I was done at around 10:35am I walked up to the front desk an waited until someone showed up to help me. Well Mrs. Parks shows up and tells me that I now have to wait until the other candidate finishes her application so she can interview both of us at the same time. What in the world????? So I go back and sit down. It wasnt until almost 11 am that Mrs. Parks finally came over and said ladies, there is an inspection that I have to take care of, if you want you can come back later this evening first of all she probably forgot that she had an inspection scheduled for that day because in child care most inspections are scheduled. When I told her I was not coming back she insisted on keeping my application with MY personal information. This place is horrible and definitely not professional. While I was there I saw many things that I knew were not acceptable at any child care facility. Such as: Teachers who do not speak fluent English, cook without a hair net, no front desk receptionist, uncovered outlets, teachers wearing saggy pants almost falling off, teachers who were not paying attention to crying children. That place is a complete disaster and I would not even think about recommending it to anyone. Im glad Im not a part of that facility.

All my 3 kids come to this wonderful daycare!! All the teachers are awesome and they treat my kids like family... Mrs Michelle is the best vpk teacher ever... we love you guys!!!!

Unlike most of the parents and previous staff. Ive had mixed emotions about Parks Place. First let me state CHECK YOUR BILL! I CANNOT COUNT HOW MANY TIMES I HAVE BEEN OVER CHARGED FOR CHILDCARE. There have been several occasions where I have been charged 40, 60 or even 100.00 over my fixed rate. Told my children couldnt return until the balance was paid only to find out the balance was wrong in the first place. Also, the VPK teacher Mrs. Michelle is amazing so happy my daughter got her she and Mrs. Coffin are the only teachers I recommend. They did do a lot of events for the children but, everything costs. When the children had Winter break its was 15.00 a day extra even with my voucher. Plus 10.00 for field trips if you didnt go on the trip for that day your child could not stay because they dont have enough staff over the holidays. But you were still charged the 15.00 for that day. Oh lets not forget the 9:00 cut off time. Dont be late or they cant stay. But you will still be charged for that day. I would say Parks Place is so unorganized but it is the only daycare that is clean (because it is) and has one or two anchor teachers and parents who really shine or have kissed enough ass to make it a great place to take their kids. My first choice would be Tutor Time but the price is ridiculously high but u pay for what you get. I pay 40.00 a week at Parks Place. Until someone comes along with a better option and location Im stuck.

Overall it’s a nice daycare for children but what I don’t agree with is the fact my child caught the Flu from her teacher and brought it home and gave it to her dad. Not only I but him as well missed a whole week of work and not once did they aknowledge her being out for a week of school and still have to pay for the week she wasn’t present. I had to call and inform them of why she was absent.I was asked how she was doing and I mentioned to the owner how she caught the flu from her teacher and the response I received was “ok so hows she’s doing” very bluntly. I feel as if it’s more about the money and not the children when it comes to a virus this deadly. Children and adults die from this virus. I’m a nurse I work in the field and I see things like this all the time and I have to encourage those to stay safe by keeping themselves clean and washing their hands to keep from spreading infection. My daughter is never really sick that much but lately she has been and the flu was a new one for me . I gave them two stars only because I felt no one took action and it should be addressed. Another parent would have called the health department and reported his situation but the kindness and sincere apology from her teacher was the only reason to why I didn’t take it that far. My advice is that in worse case scenarios such as this one should be addressed in a more kind manner.

If I could rate this daycare a 0, I would! My daughter was only there for 3 days last year because they are very inattentive to the kids. The last day my daughter was enrolled, i noticed a huge purple knot on her forehead when I walked in the classroom to pick her up. I immediately became upset and asked the teacher what happened. Since she didn’t know I asked another teacher, she didn’t know either and they both said they weren’t there the whole day. I immediately walked out to the lobby and talked to the owner Mrs Parks about the situation and she came in to look at my daughter’s forehead and suggested The knot was already there. I said I know my daughter and it wasnt there and immediately asked to review the tape since no incident report was written until I mentioned it and no one could tell me what happened. Instead of reviewing the tape right then, mrs parks asked me to come back another day(tomorrow) and said I could sit in the lobby and view the tape on the tv. The next day I called out from work and came into the office. Mrs parks gave me her cell phone and had me sit in a kids chair in the book room. I sat there for hours with my 1 year old daughter on my lap watching the video while people were constantly calling her phone and I had to look at a tiny screen. I finally saw that the one of the teachers had the kids sitting at the lunch table for over an hour while she talked to other teachers and did her own thing. I saw my daughter crying the whole time and finally fall out of her chair and hit the floor next to the teachers foot. The teachers kept talking while my daughter remained on the floor for 5 more minutes and a little boy leaning over his chair watching my daughter lay there on the floor. I finally saw the teacher grab my daughter up like a rag doll and put her on the changing table to change her diaper. Meanwhile my daughter is crying with all of her might because of the fall. Right after I saw what happened, mrs parks snatched her phone and scolded me for recording the video with my phone. I told mrs parks what I saw and she was very nonchalant, I asked for a refund for the week I paid in advance and I withdrew my daughter from the daycare. I tried to call dcf and complain but no one returned my call and just decided to post everywhere I can about this daycare who dontcare.

This location is clean, they have a friendly and educated staff, as well as a wonderful curriculum. The kids love it and they have learned a lot.

I went for an interview here and I put my POTTY TRAINED 2 year old into a classroom to do my interview. She was historical which is normal but I wanted to check on her at naptime and the am manager literally brought me to tears saying I couldnt go talk to her teacher and see how she was doing and she kept basically breaking me down saying that shes gonna hate it and everything else. I was heart broken. She was so rude to me and mean to the other staff members. I got put into the 1 year old room and there was no set curriculum it was crazy. I was 5 weeks pregnant which I didnt tell anyone before my interview but all I did that entire day was pick up every child and move them. There was absolutely NO STRUCTURE. I also noticed that there were laws being broken etc. I have worked at daycares in the past and this was bad. I worked all day for an interview and never received any sort of compensation. The interview was supposed to be a couple hrs. I worked all day. By the end of the day i was in tears. I got my daughter back and she had some giant pants on that werent even hers. I was never informed that she went in her pants and got changed into someone elses clothes. She used a random diaper on her. (I had some in the car I just forgot to bring them in) I got her home to get my sweet girl cleaned up and her little parts were so red and sore she was shaking and crying and telling me her parts hurt when I wiped her. She was so red and there was POOP left on her butt. I cried so bad and apologized so many times to her. I told her mommy would never make her to there again. Its been a couple months and she still mentions the teacher and the class and tells me she doesnt want to go. This child is 2.5 and has the intelligence of a 4 or 5 year old.I respectfully declined the job before I even saw my daughter just for how the management talked to me. I was not happy at all with this experience. I will not go back ever again.

Parks Place has offered an amazing experience for my family. My two sons have have grown up at Parkss Place and have learned a lot doing crafts and playing with others. They teachers and faculty truly care about my boys and make us feel like part of the family. I highly recommend Parks Place for daycare, VPK or aftercare to any parent looking for a trustworthy place for their kids to grow.

The manager Mrs.Parks reached out to me and scheduled an interview, I accept the interview request. Before I went to the interiew I called and confirmed 2hours before my interview that was at 4:00 to make sure the interview was still in affect, I came 30 minutes early prior to the interview and the manager (Mrs. Parks) wasnt there. She forgot the interview that SHE SCHEDULED. The receptionist gave me an paper application to fill out and said she was going to call Mrs.Parks. after I finisher my paper application I asked has she called Mrs.Parks, the receptionish still have yet to call I went back in the waiting area which was like an kids library area and Ive heard the receptionist call Mrs. Parks. The resceptionist said the manager would like to reschedule, the manager never once ask to speak to me and apologize for my time being wasted, for her not showing up and if I WOULD LIKE to reschedule. The Recpetionist never wrote down the time and day for the reschduled interview therefore she wouldnt remember neither would she relate the time and date to the manager. Basically I was giving the run around and my time was wasted the whole time. If I could It would be a 0 star, very unproffesional.

If I could Ill rate a 0star !!!! Every time myself or a family member walked into that place we NEVER got a smile and hello . Ive seen teachers yell at kids for being kids !!!! A friend of mine used to work here and said she had to quit because teachers were pinching kids under the arms for acting up ... My child got hit in the back and stomach in different days they never told me my son had to tell me and they acted if they didnt know ... I gave this place a second change but Im still disappointed and wish I didnt waste my money on this crap place !!!!! My son did learn from here but thats not the case !
