Not only was the gentleman extremely kind-hearted he was empathetic to our situation. It’s an absolutely beautiful venue and was perfect for our needs. I would recommend them to anyone needing a venue for a gathering or wedding.

Beautiful establishment and for a good price. However, the power went out on us twice and because of that, we were limited to only using one AC system and my caterer had to make sure they didnt have too many things plugged in at once. Also, they require a 200.00 deposit when booking which is refunded aftwards. My wedding was in June and it is now October. Ive called several times with no response and have yet to receive my money back. Which I feel is more than fair considering the power issue.

Booked this lovely venue for my wedding (8/11/2019) and it was amazing! Yes it does take about a day or two to hear back but these lovely people are all volunteers who put their spare time into maintaining this beautiful historical venue. Joshua (my contact) let me do two walkthroughs to check everything out and then did a walkthrough the day before with me to make sure everything was beautiful, which it was. We had about 68 people and this venue fit everyone perfectly with plenty of room. The dishes you are allowed to use are absolutely beautiful and the bridal suite upstairs is gorgeous and done in Victorian style furniture. It definitely made my day as picture perfect as I could have hoped. My only minor issue just to give other brides a heads up is it does get a tad warm in the building (nothing too bad just not icy cold) but its an older building and with doors constantly opening and closing in the FL August heat that is to be expected. Overall using this venue for my big day was truly the best decision ever. Would definitely use again for future events!

My family & I hosted a 90th Roaring 20s Themed Birthday Celebration for my Grandparents. We decided to go with the Springfield Improvement Association Building due to its great location, historic feel, available stage for performances, & very affordable rental fee. However, we were very disappointed with the poor customer service/lack of follow up by the building manager/event coordinator. It took quite some time before we were even able to secure the date with a deposit that has yet to be returned (almost a month later) 😐. So again, great location, but poor customer service.

While my family and I had the space and time needed to prep for my parents 90th birthday party, the venue is in need of improvements. First, the venue smelled stale and it needed to be aired out before the event began. Second, there were cobwebs throughout and the venue needed to be swept thoroughly. And third, most of the linen tablecloths we rented from the venue were covered in mold. Otherwise, great location and size for the number of attendees.

Booked for my moms 80th Birthday celebration, everyone had a nice time, we left the place in excellent condition as a matter of fact it looked better than before. The issue is poor customer service, we have been reaching out to them starting about 14 days after the event, which was July 14th it is now September 17th and still no deposit not even a returned call, poor customer service.
