Very friendly and informative doctor and staff. I will continue to go to this office for all of my dermatological needs. It was a very enjoyable experience from start to finish.

I had a 15 min wait after my scheduled appointment time so wasn’t too happy about that given I had to leave work for my appointment. Staff was very friendly and cordial though, listened to my concerns and took care of my issue very promptly. The PA was very knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable with the plan of care. Would definitely return in the future for any other dermatology issues.

I had to an appointment regarding a follow up visit for an ongoing problem Ive had that requires medication I need to get refilled every year. The doctors office told me I required a visit to get the refill. I was Robin Sproule who strangely plopped herself down on the table next me and asked me what was wrong; she never looked at my chart. After a brief talk we decided that I should forgo the medicine since my condition seemed to have approved. I was in this visit for less than 10 minutes. I was charged $159 and told this was not considered a follow up visit. When I tried to protest and see if I could get a discount they denied me and sent me to collections. Ive been seeing Western Wyoming Dermatology for close to 20 years and will never go back after the way I was treated.

My appointment was made very promptly and when I came in I was seen prior to my actual visitation time. The review of my situation was handled by Kent Shippen in a most professional and timely manner. Where possible he shot liquid nitrogen on the moles so as to ultimately eliminate them.Each time I go in I am surprised to not see a professional medical photographer as I have so many growths and colorations on my body which I sense could serve as a guide for a medical textbook on dermatology.I have been going to this clinic for over ten years and have always appreciated the quality of service, professionalism and complete exam which I go through each time.

Came to a specialist to find out what was going on with my hands and this was the only dermatologist associated with St Johns. When I called to see the actual doctor he was scheduled out almost a YEAR, or I can see a PA in the next few days. Went in for the appointment and I must say what a joke. The person didn’t help basically said I had dermatitis on my hand, meaning she had no clue. Gave me only paperwork for eczema which they said I didn’t have and even got which creams I was supposed to use mixed up. Told me to come back in 2 weeks for a follow up. Saw my regular MD today and basically said stop everything they told me to do since they were incorrect. Luckily the bill was only $12 here but I will NEVER go back. I will either go to Idaho Falls or even Salt Lake before setting foot in there again.

I had to call the ladies at the front desk a million times for so many reasons during my care and are so helpful, patient, and nice ALWAYS.

Kent Shippen was amazing with my son, who was very worried about a procedure. He used humor and quick action to make it an easy (and painless) procedure. I highly recommend.

I have seen two doctors in 4 visits and they were unable to fix or even diagnose my issue. But they were super nice and took their time to try and help. The reason for the low rating is when I went in for a small surgery to remove a bad spot on my back the surgeon, who I had not met before, attacked me and asked why I wasnt doing anything to fix this issue. He told me I had to do such and such for this amount of time and I was just stupid. He had no respect or ability to listen. Even if he was right on his diagnosis it does not change how angry he made me and also how he acted like the other doctors I saw at that same practice were stupid not to fix it.

Exceptional service!

The PA was very nice--she saw and treated actinic keratosis. It is not with her that I was unhappy. It is becoming more common for these doctors offices to not file TriCare claims. This is the insurance used by active military, veterans, and their families. This is stressful as most that are not in the medical profession have no idea how to file a claim let alone all the diagnosis, treatment, and symptom codes that are required by insurance companies. It is aggravating to say the least, but these offices are getting away with this practice.

Hidden Charges! Labs for a simple skin rash were over 300.00 dollars. First visit 150.00 dollars and second visit 59.00 dollars. Saw a PA and never even spoke to a doctor. After everything a single rash cost me 500.00 dollars.

(Read to the end) I took my 7 year old son to see Robin Sproule. He had a rash that was almost gone that had been there for almost 2 weeks. I had a picture I was able to show her at its worse. What really made me take action as a parent was the fact that his hair started falling out after he had the rash for a few days. I had been to a wonderful supportive allergist in Salt Lake City, Utah before seeing her. After he did an extensive blood work panel and allergy test, he suggested taking him to a dermatologist as well. Western Wyoming Dermatology was the first place I called. My son got in with Robin Sproule. I was so looking forward so some questions answered and the knowledge of what a dermatologist could do in diagnosing what’s going on.I can’t take back the reaction my son witnessed after she left the office. She made me livid!!! I kept trying to ask questions. She just kept repeating herself going around my questions, interrupting me. Mind you he has some bald spots and as a dermatologist hardly even touched his hair or skin. All she wanted me to do was wait a WEEK before getting him checked again. Which technically she didn’t even suggest calling back there. So I don’t know where or what she exactly wanted me to do. Apparently go somewhere else because she didn’t mention a follow up. Even if that was our only option at the time to wait a week... it was a horrible bed side manner. No support in the fact that my sons hair is falling out by the handfuls! He has bald and thinning spots but she kept getting annoyed and almost upset that I was asking questions!!!! Isn’t that why we go to Drs?! Ask questions, sometimes even stupid ones, and get answers!!! I was heartbroken leaving there.Thank God I was on a waiting list for another dermatologist from Ogden, UT. We went to her 2 days later. She was wonderful! The kind of experience I would expect from a Dr. She answered allllll, every single one of our questions! She even acknowledged my son asking him if he had any questions. She actually touched his head and found how much Hair was falling out. She was empathetic of the situation. We also left with a diagnosis of Alopecia Areata for his hair falling out, and viral exanthem for the rash. (That she diagnosed from the same picture.) She had a nurse taking notes on what his skin looked liked. She gave him a good look over. I share all of that information because that’s how it should have went with Robin Sproule. Even if she couldn’t come up with a diagnois, there should have been some empathy, and wanting to follow up with him if she’s suggesting it needed time for a diagnosis.

Knowledgable and friendly staff. And it is easy to get an appointment.
