I just returned from seeing Dr Jones. I have been going to him for several years. I have always found him to be very knowledgeable and ready to help in any way. I wouldn’t consider going any place else. While he is a very good dermatologist, he is also very friendly and makes you feel like a friend. Linda Sell.

My husband has been going to Dr. Mac for a few years now. He is a matter-of-fact doctor, which we appreciate. He is going to tell you what is wrong and not sugar coat it. But he is also very compassionate and cares for his patients. He recently discovered my husbands cancer and possibly saved his life with early detection. We have a lot of respect and confidence in Dr. Mac.

The whole office was so friendly and helpful. Dr. Jones was so good. He got right to the point and put me at ease where some drs will fiddle around. I would HIGHLY recommend.

I have been going to Dr. Jones for many years! My daughters were both treated by Dr. Jones for acne when they were teenagers. He has been nothing but professional and helpful with whatever we needed medically. He takes his time with you and always makes you feel like you are his only patient. Dr. Jones examined a number of sun damaged areas that caused me great concern. He knew exactly how to address my concerns quickly and efficiently. Dr. Jones helped eliminate my fears and gave me clarity about treatment and offered advice about sun damage prevention. The entire staff, including his nurses Misty and Allyson, were very kind and professional as well. I would certainly recommend such expertise!

Dr Robert Jones is an excellent doctor I highly recommend him. My last visit he did surgery on my ankle removing a knot. Piece of cake no pain no problem went home with stitches dr Jones was so informative and very professional. Great doctor

This is a first class place!!!! Staff are extremely friendly. They greet you as soon as you come in the door. Dr. Jones is incredible and very professional. Loved everything about our experience. Would recommend this place to anybody and wont go anywhere else from now on but here !!!! :)

Dr Jones has been my dermatologist for several years. He has spent time talking and addressing any concerns I have. He does have a sense VERY dry sense of humor and is often cut and dry. But that is also his personality. I have never had a bad experience. There are times you may have to wait for an appointment, but they do get sick and do like vacations like the rest of us. Note to the wise, they are busier towards the end of the year when deductibles are met, so be prepared.

This was my first visit to Dr. Robert Jones. Everyone at the office was very nice and he was great. He explained things and gave me several samples. I was very happy with the visit and will go back to him in the future.

First time being at the facility everyone was nice and professional. Dr. Jones proceeded to give me the right medication after several doctors failed to do so! I appreciate him and his staff as they have cured my face beyond what I thought was possible.

Dr. Jones has been our Dermatologist for several years and is truly EXCELLENT! He goes above and beyond to help with all our issues from skin cancer to minor skin issues. He will give you all your options and perform the needed service with a smile and prompt courteous treatment. I first observed him with an elderly aunt who was a Medicare/Medicaid patient. He couldnt be seeing her for the money but obviously he loves people. Love Doctor Jones!

Dr. Mac - best Derm ever! Ill never see another.  Misty - most tolerant, patient nurse!  Professional staff!  Beautiful facility!  If you appreciate an expert that delivers without wasting your time or running your bill, Dr. Mac and Misty are ready to see you.I treated with Dr. Mac 12 years ago, and this week I had 3 skin issues that resulted in 3 small excisions.  Dr. Mac is focused, direct, professional, confident, and the best in his field.  He and Misty offered immediate resolution within an hour.  No additional appointments needed which meant less money out of my pocket. (Misty was a boss in handling my skirmish-ness with the shot. Thanks for being patient with me.  She is a gem!!)Dr. Mac and staff give you a no-BS approach in their specialty. I am a busy wife, mom, professional with very little time, and they respect that.However, if you need that weekly doc-interaction, or like the up-sells on unnecessary procedures/products you do not need, or just need hugs from your providers with surprise charges, then you need more than a dermatologist.  (I feel for that once, which is why I offer this review.  Dont be a sucker).I was not compensated for this review, have never reviewed a provider, but know many will value my experience.

Not a fan of this place at all! The Dr. runs in and runs out and doesnt listen to what you have to say. Everyone there always seems like they are in a bad mood. I had three different appointments and got absolutely nowhere. I would not recommend.

Dr. Jones is a very nice man when you become a regular patient. He is very professional and will discuss multiple options with you. Do your research and he will illuminate your understanding. You don’t feel rushed and if your explain your problem clearly he can really help! The staff there are kind and the building is kept clean. I come back to Jackson specifically to see him and I don’t even live there anymore.

The BEST dermatologist ever! Id seen two other doctors and had two biopsies, but the other doctors had no clue what the problem was. Dr. Jones took a look and asked some questions. He told me what it was...some sort of lichen dermatitis. I used the ointment he prescribed and the itching was gone the next day. It was gone in a week!

I have seen Dr. Jones for a few years, 2 years ago, I was concerned about a spot on my head, and for the last 2 times I saw him, I showed it to him, he just looked at it and said it was nothing. I am prone to Basil Cell, and have had Melanoma twice, so I am concerned about things I see that arent suppose to be there. I made an appointment with another dermatologist this year, and the spot on my head that he said was nothing, turned out to be Basil, and I have had surgery on it, and have to have more. VERY angry about it! Am VERY happy with who I am seeing now! If you are seeing Dr. Jones, be very careful, he is missing some very important issues.

Highly recommend Dr. Jones and his staff. He is very straight to the point with his diagnosis. He takes time to listen and explain to his patient. I have been going to him for several years.Facility is very clean and staff are very friendly.

If you want a Dr. that will baby you Dr. Jones is probably not your guy. But if you want a good knowledgeable Dr. he cant be beat! I would bet that the bad reviews are from people that expect to be babied. I have never had excessively long waits.

He is a very good skin Dr. He told me what I had without hardly looking, I thought. So I ask him to do a biopsy. He sent it off and he was correct. His PR might not be so enjoyable, but he is very a knowledgeable Dr.

Very nice guy, listened to me with out interruption and didnt speak down to me. Got to the point quickly. Make certain though that you write down what he puts on his prescriptions though as his hand writing made my pharmacist almost unable to fill the prescription.

My wife has been a patient of Dr Jones for some time, and we have always found him, the staff and the overall quality of care to be excellent. No reason to travel to Nashville or Memphis for a Dermatologist when we have a great, Harvard-educated physician right here in Jackson!

I saw Dr Jones this past week and he was and always has been when we have seen him in the past, professional and gets the job done. What I went for is healing and I’m very satisfied with the results.

Why cant i give no stars?? had appointment, waited 1 1/2 months, doctor called in, and they basically said f---you and told me my appointment is canceled i would have to reschedule and wait another month!!!! so i say f---them!! i rescheduled anyway and when time comes im calling in!! what jerks!! jackson tn has the absolutely worst medical help !! its all areas none of these people give a damn in any field from my experience, quicky lube doctors thats what we have here in jackson

Only gave 1 star because it wouldnt let me give 0!!! Hateful nurse! He walks in barely glances at my husband asks what he is there for immediately freezes a place on his face with no warning and gets upset when he jumps. Then says ok anything else, he shows him a wart on his arm at least this time he knows what is going to happen and is a little prepared. He had NO empathy that my husband has lost his grandmother to melanoma and his mother has had skin cancer. Just hurry up and get out of my office so I can get someone else in. I felt like he didnt even look at the hundreds of moles and spots all over him. We were only in his office 5 minutes. Cant wait to see this bill.... would not recommend him to see anyone or anything!!!!!

I am educated & do not expect to be babied. He was extremely rude & rushed; he acted as if I was an inconvenience. He was in the office less than 5 minutes and that was to remove cyst and stitch me up. I asked if it was being sent off for biopsy & he rolled his eyes, said no & walked out.

Best dermatologist Ive seen. Highly educated and effective.

Horrible Doctor. Walks in and barely glances at you or asks what is going on with your skin. Writes a prescription and rushes on to whatever he does. Refuse to go back to him ever again.
