Moving to New Jersey a couple of years ago, I have been to a few different hair braiding places, but since going to Gigi’s after being recommended from a coworker I have not been anywhere else. She is the real deal. Respectable, reasonable prices, quick and gets the job done. She does my hair, my daughter’s, sisters and niece hair as well. Need I say more except she is the best of the best!

Gigi Hair Braid is a Great Shop. I travel from Bayonne to get my hair braided . Originally from Los Angeles. I appreciate Gigi being able to really complete styles I normally like to wear. Great timing work is completed , no long waits.

I took my daughter to get 6 corn braids straight to the back and Gigi charged me $75. Never again and would not recommend this shop at all.

Gigi and her staff were super professional! I called at 9:30 and was in the chair 10 minutes later. Place is clean and they are swift with figuring out what you need. Price was exactly as expected (i got cornrows) and was out of there in a timley fashion. I’m super tenderheaded and Gigi kept checking in to make sure I was ok and braids weren’t too tight! I’ll def be back! Great expierience 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

I would not recommend this place even to my worst enemy. She really damaged my hair and after taking out my weave, I have a dent and a huge bald spot on my scalp. I complained while she was doing my hair. Even after texting and calling and showing pictures of the damage she has caused, she never showed any sign of remorse or care. She also overcharges you. So if you would like to pay for a scar and bald spot then go to her.
