Novant Health Sun Valley medical is the best facility in North Carolina. Dr Robson is the absolute best. He’s so knowledgeable, professional and thorough. I’m with him for life.

I was very pleased with my first experience at Novant Sun Valley. Everyone was very nice and helpful. I didn’t feel like they were in a hurry to finish up the appointment so I felt they had my care in mind. Dr. Igbokwe and her nurse were both very nice.

Ive been a client/patient here since we moved here back in 2005. The staff is always friendly and work with me when I have issues with my work schedule. The physicians are very knowledgeable and share insights on whats best for my particular health. Visiting with James Robson took a lot of anxiety and stress away. Since this pandemic I havent been comfortable visiting many doctors offices, but this visit was more stress free.

The staff at Sun Valley are the best I have ever had. They are compassionate and caring. I left there last Friday after a visit and I told my husband these people are amazing I cant wait to see them again. Im 60 years old and Im retired from the medical field, and I have never been so proud of a Drs office. Hats off to the staff!

I was quite pleased and impressed with my experience at this location. There was no delay, the staff were friendly and courteous, and Dr. Bronson was super great. It is unfortunate that Novants other locations do not exhibit the same degree of care, compassion, and professionalism.

I recently was told i needed to find a GP due to some health concerns. So at 40+ years old I am new to finding a doc. I could not have had a better experience. From the front desk, to the nurse, to the doctor - everyone was kind and professional. The doctor listened to my concerns and we built a plan for going forward. I love that the office is small - so I was able to get concentrated care, versus just been a number going through the process.

I have special needs grandchildren and this Practice has been there for us from the start. I cant imagine taking these children anywhere else. They are caring,compassionate,and dedicated.

When I first started visiting this clinic I was a healthy, active, 195lbs. Because I fell into the obese category of the BMI chart, I heard no end of how I had to lose weight from Dr. Igbokwe - she even recommended 45 minutes of cardio a day! To put into perspective of my health - I lifted 4x a week, I was ready to do my first powerlifting meet, and I did HIIT 1x a week for active recovery. Even though I was thick at 195lbs, I had a 32in waist and wore a size 10/medium. So never in a million years did I think my weight would be the focus of every dr visit. I thought weight stigma stories were all exaggerations until it happened to me.At the end of May, I visit Dr. Igbokwe because I was having daily excruciating headaches. I was sweating at night, thirsty all the time, irritable. I did a CT scan, echocardigram and there was no answer. My blood work was optimal. At my last visit with dr. Igbokwe, I had lost 10lbs - 10lbs in two weeks! That is not healthy and NOT normal. This is coming from someone who bulks and cuts by counting macros. She didnt comment on that weight loss at all even though it was a huge red flag. A few days later I lost an additional 6lbs pretty much overnight. I was trembling and weak. I was nothing like the person I was just 2.5 months ago.Because I had been feeling so sick, I made another appointment with another Dr. in the novant network. The FIRST THING she did was to palpate my neck and thyroid, and noticed that my thyroid was enlarged. Detailed blood work and a subsequent thyroid ultrasound revealed that not only was my thyroid enlarged, WITH A NODULE, but that I am most likely suffering from hyperthyroidism. Which runs in my family. Now everything makes sense and I am looking forward to treatment and recovery so I can go back to lifting and a life without anxiety and irritability. And I actually hope I can gain back all the weight I lost so I can crush a 400lb deadlift.I just dont understand how this could be missed! In photos from 3 months ago I can see my thyroid sticking out. Palpating is such a simple test that I cant believe Dr. Igbokwe didnt do it sooner. Insane.

I think they need to do something with the CMA that sits at the window and checks you in and answers the phone,She is very rude and disrespectful when you call or are checking in!!!!other than that The rest of the staff are very good.

The only good thing about this office is Dr. Tahir. The front office ladies are rude and nobody knows what they are doing absolutely terrible staff. I’ve been going to this office for about 15 years and it just gets worse every time I make an appointment.

Dr. Tahir is my primary doctor. She listens to my needs and discusses options with me. I have complicated medical issues, and frequently run into medical professionals who have strong opinions. I don’t take kindly to a doctor deciding medical care for me without truly explaining things and going over options.

I have been very please with Dr. Houser. The lab techs are great and I have never had to wait long and the office staff has been wonderful. I do not understand the negative reviews. I have never had an office get back to me so quickly and efficiently. Lab results come back within a day or two and messages are returned sometimes the same day. Referrals have been quick as well. I am sorry that others have not had the experience I have had. I have been a patient here for only 1 1/2 years but I would recommend this place to anyone.

Picking a new doctors office is always a gamble it would seem. While I have no issues with the health care I have received, I am extremely dissatisfied with office staff. I was told I had to come back for a booster shot, which I was told shouldnt take long. On the day I came back, I rearranged my work schedule just in case. I get to the office and it takes about 25 minutes for them to call my name. This is frustrating enough having been told it would be quick but things happen, ultimately its not a big deal. However, instead of getting a booster and going about my day, the nurse informs me that I didnt actually need a booster and it must have been some confusion. So now, not only did I wait for a long time, but I didnt even need to be there in the first place. I didnt need to rearrange my schedule, or make a trip first thing in the morning. Im not sure if I will be back, even though I initially was satisfied with my healthcare.

Im baffled as to why there are any negative reviews for this office. The doctors are A+ super fantastic. The supporting staff is also A+ super fantastic. The wait time is never really more than 10 minutes. The office is presented clean and tidy. Laboratory is on premises. I have had a handful of situations that have needed coordination with my primary care physicians office and they have been A+ on the ball with everything. Theyve even been able to squeeze me in the same day for sick visits. Now, I have a background in medical. I have worked in some out-of-control offices. And some very in control offices. This is a very in control office where patients matter. I would be proud to work in this office! Even parking is good. Squash those negative reviews. If youre looking for a good office thats organized with good doctors, and assistants that listen and care about their patients, do yourself a service and make a phone call here. To add in, I see Doctor Houser and he is fantastic. My husband sees Doctor Hockey and likes him very much as well.

Staff is always friendly. Dr. Houser is great. He listens to me and doesnt make me feel rushed. Never a problem getting an appointment. The lab staff is always very friendly. I have been going there for years. Everyone is friendly. Ill never change Drs. Thank you everyone for all you do!!

Went here as a new patient for physical and wound up in ER 2 days later.During the physical I asked the doc for some kind of belly scan as I thought there might be something wrong in there. He gave me a if things are moving there is nothing wrong speech. To put it in perspective I had belly surgery 2 months prior so it was not a far left field request for the scan.I called the office and asked the doc to review my records and ct scan from the ER as I thought the ER docs diagnosis was in error due to the blood lab results I had access to. They would not even consider it without me coming in. So now I am looking for a new doctor again.

I rarely get sick except going for annual check up. Cant mention anything during the annual check up tho. Otherwise, the bill would be shockingly high. They told me that I had hyperthroidism, skin disorder and swelling which I had none of these problems. I messaged them, they just simply said we corrected code. That is their attitude...

This office does not care about their patients! They have one hand on the door the whole time they are in the room, dr houser barely even listens to what you are saying without interrupting you. Their front end staff calls you to remind you of an appointment and calls you by the wrong name. I wish I never wasted my time on this practice. If you want quality care and someone that actually is invested in your well being don’t come to this office!

Had a family emergency the morning of my appointment and forgot to call and cancel due to it and they refuse to see me now since I didnt show. I didnt realize how high end this place was and that no emergencies can happen in life. Pathetic practice.

Very friendly staff and Dr. Hockey is great. He listens to what you have to say and takes that into consideration. He has a nice bedside manner and really cares about his patients.

Great facility, Dr. Tahir is the one I saw and she exactly knew what she was talking about. Very friendly and accommodating. Definitely recommended if you need to see a doctor nearby.

I went and saw Andy at Wesley Chapel for my yearly physical before heading back to school. He was great! He was real friendly and asked me multiple times if I had any questions or concerns. He actictively listenedlto my concerned, asked questions about themtand put a note in my chart about it. He helped me activate MyChart before leaving. Great doctor, great care!
