It is so hard for me to change doctors, but when we moved from Rockhill, S.C. to Indian Trail I just couldn’t continue to make that long drive. My sister and her family just loved their doctor and she told me It was Dr. Douglas Chen and that I really needed to see him. I am so glad I did! He is wonderful and personable and spends time getting to know you . One thing that really impressed me was that he remembers you and the issues you have discussed with him from past visits. I am so happy I found a good doctor! Now my husband and my daughter are seeing him. He is the best!

Dismissed my sisters extreme swelling, bloody vomiting, and other health issues for months until she begged/threatened legal action for a referral. The new doctors found Cancer and Amyloidosis. She passed away at the age of 34, only a week ago (3 months after diagnosis). 😞

Initial blood work showed I was anemic. Re-tested my blood three months later but did not test to see if I was STILL anemic.Sent in new rx for acid reflux but did not tell me that I had acid reflux. There was no talk about having acid reflux.

Dr. Chen is very friendly, detailed and organized. He also graduated from great schools. My friend referred us to Dr Chen at the Lake Park Family Practice because she said that Dr Chen is very patient with her. I took my mom to see Dr Chen for the first time today thinking that I might have to translate for her but my dad could probably go with her next time because Dr Chen also speaks multiple languages. Dr Chen even went out of his way to train his nurses to translate medical terms into Mandarin and print out the details so my mom could fully understand. I was rushing today because I have to pick up my son at school and the doctor and nurses all made sure that we could get out of the office on time without missing any important exams. Medical charts are accessable online so we can easily translate it into the language that my parents would understand.Thank you, Dr Chen.. you are awesome.. keep up the good work.

If I could give a negative 5 I would. Seemed to be a good doctor, until my family member went in with excruciating stomach pain. He gave the patient an ultrasound (when not even knowing what he was looking for) the ultrasound came back with unclear results so he sent the patient home and said nothing is wrong. This was October and again November..come to find out my family member has cancer in more than one place and this could have been treated months ago. Thanks alot you should lose your license

I have been a patient of Dr.Chen for over 5 years. He has been a great Doctor,coach, and friend. I would recommend him to anyone. He has really helped me with controlling my diabetes..

Besides of being and excellent and caring physician, Dr. Chen has a God-given ability to brighten your day.

Dr.Chen is a compassionate caring doctor I have been his patient since 1999 I would refer anyone to go see him.

Disappointed. They almost gave my son 3 vaccinations he didnt need because they pulled out somebody elses chart and they also misdiagnosed both me and my husband on separate occasions requiring us to come back for unnecessary and incorrect follow-ups. I eventually moved my family to another clinic.
