Hurst Plaza is a great skilled nursing facility. They have done many recent renovations during Covid that make it look so good! All the staff has been super helpful and very friendly during my visit. The new ownership is making many changes and looks promising!

Nobody likes to have to go to these kind of places when it comes to their loved ones. The place I had my mom at before Hurst Plaza was terrible. So I really expected much of the same. Instead, I came to a place that really cares about their patients and the family. The whole staff from the bottom to the top is very professional. I dont like that my Mom has to be in a place like this, but since she does, I really feel like she is in the best place she can be at the moment. Yall keep up the amazing work you are doing!

The people who work here really care about the residents. They go above and beyond to help my aunt, who has dementia. Its a challenging job and I appreciate everyone who cares for her and their kindness.

My visit was good. I didn’t like his appearance, today is his bath day and he wasn’t clean. On top of that he had on a shirt that didn’t belong to him.

If I could give a zero star I would. The staff started out being wonderful until covid was in the building. After covid family was barred from entering the building. Mom contracted a stage 4 sacral wound where as its been lingering for eight months. Family requested a wound culture in numerous occasions and it was denied. Mom also developed Tardive dyskinesia which was avoidable. The RN and facility chose not to see the side effects of Risperidone and appropriately do a drug reduction dosage quarterly. In turn everytime her symptoms were brought up we were told shes scratching her head. State was sent in and concluded that the facility is operating at minimum regulations. I question why not maximum regulations. Upon discharge to another facility Mom was sent to new facility with malodorous drainage. This facility is a joke since covid. Please be aware that management and the physician at this place considers their ideology to be supreme law until u have a care plan meeting and they see youre just as informed or more so than they are. Dont go on these review numbers since covid. Ask around because this place has gone down.

Something that I realized long ago, is that it’s not what the building looks like that is going to give you great care, it’s the people in it! I see lots of tenure here with the employees and the 5 star rating speaks for itself!

Ill give them one star for feeding them and making sure their clothes are clean . But thats all their good at . Stop bringing your family here . Its all a front . Whatever you see while you visit is a front . Its really dirty and i should know I did the housekeeping and laundry . Yes its an old building but the people in high positions run the people who work hard and actually have a heart about their job description .

Excellent care they are talking care of my 97 yr old Mom. When she got sick called us immediately and took her to hospital for bronchitis. She says the nurses and staff are great and food is good. They were recommended by N Hills Hospital we have been very happy with her care

That place is not clean. Out of date if they have handicap commode I havent seen any.I do not blame the residence for complaining.Selective appetites. The facility does not follow instructions.

11/18/2019 Not happy with the staff right now & their response time getting back with me on some issues that have been acknowledged recently as of 11/11/2019 with a phone call & there after with my visitations.
