Dentist is good the staff behind front desk suck this place is just trying to make as much money as they can off the insurance

Of late, #3 root canal crown captures food not readily removed by floss & water pick. My WONDERFUL hygienist Ms. Thu Thong went above and beyond to remove the debris--Professional thoroughness. She applied treatment that decrease my discomfort--caring. She is a true asset to Dr. Rushing. Thank both of you for excellent caring dental care. Jeanette Anderson

Dr. Rushin is literally the best! She has been taking care of my wife and I for many many years. She is so patient and gentle. Her years of dental experience is way better than anything you could find at Mint Dentistry! I love our healthy smiles.

I had my first appointment on 02/18, and I was very impressed. The receptionist, dental tech, hygienist, and dentist were very kind and professional. I havent been to the dentist in years and although I take good care of my teeth, I need some work done. They didnt try to oversell me with crowns or veneers as my only option, and they seem concerned with my budget as well as my smile. I really appreciate the honesty and willingness to fix my smile with multiple options that are budget friendly. I would recommend this branch for sure.

Scared to book an appoinment because of covid19. They worked with a schedule that met my needs. Professional and safe, I was able to get a temporary for a crown.

After a hour in a half wait a technician comes to see what pain I’m having. He was caring . He was gentle with the x rays. I thought this was going to be a good experience. Before the x Ray he was trying to find me in the system the dentist comes in and starts griping at him for not having xrays done yet. This really upset me because he was not concerned with speed but me . I needed a extraction she refused to do it . She said I needed a oral surgeon. She was not nice to me. She was short cold and rude. I feel sorry for the young man being treated the way he was. He was a good technician and didn’t deserve that. I ended up going to another dentist that day to get the extraction, not a oral surgeon! I will never go back there.

Today while waiting in the office Dr. Rushin told me and my autistic 4 year old to be quiet in front of other patients. He wasn’t being very loud just some noises due to having autism and I could tell the other patients were uncomfortable by what she said. He doesn’t understand so we had to wait outside the office. No one said sorry and the office manager Sandra rudely explained why she said it and did not apologize. I’ve never been treated so badly anywhere in my life and no one in my family will return to this place

After seeing how horrible they were to this poor woman with a little boy with autism, I will never use this dentist. The boy was being a perfect angel, when he spoke to his mother her was a little loud due to his autism but it wasnt bothering the other patients, just the angry receptionist apparently. They made her take her son outside and wait for her grandmother FOR 2 HOURS!!!! This horrible place will never have my business not anyone in my family!

Theyve been so helpful and kind. I had a bad tooth that needed a root canal and I was so apprehensive about it but they kept me calm and numb and I didnt feel a thing! Theyre personal and professional so Ill be going to them for a while.

I have known Dr Rushin in her habitat as a dentist for many fortnight. My experience in having contacted her for advice, an appointment, when to go to keep gingivitis away, then get ready for a professional atmosphere to be calm as a dove to become a patient is the way to go!! I totally recommend this doctor, the staff, the location, and the bedside manner with patients. Great visit. I was only scheduled for a cleaning, which was very thorough and gentle. My appointment was on time, the entire staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I never feel like they are trying to upsell me.

I have been going to this location for years. When dr Rushin came on board I have continued to have good treatment. She is very knowledgeable and I haven had pain from treatments. My mom also goes there and loves it. I needed a molar pulled and Dr Rushin had to refer me to a special because her facility isn’t set up for that kind of work. The specialist was Dr Deepak at the Irving location. He was amazing as well.I find it interesting that so many people that were not present when the lady with the autistic son had her issue left negative reviews. Second hand information is just that, second hand. I have been in the waiting room multiple times over the years with all kinds of children that made a lot of noise that was disruptive and never saw them ask the parent to step outside with their children. Some parents did take the kids outside after getting disapproving looks from the other patients when their kids were acting up. Kids act up, that’s what they do when they have to sit and wait and are bored.

Monarch Dental is close to work, they get you on pretty fast. My dental assistant is very thorough. Im very satisfied with them.

Members of my family have been treated by Dr. Rushin for 10 plus years. Thru this time, Dr. Rushin has moved offices, always followed by my family. During this time, there, of course, has been some staff changes. What has always remained has been an excellent level of care. At times, more immediate appointments were needed due to a broken tooth, or being home from school on break, etc. Dr. Rushin & her office staff always worked to take care of our needs with empathy and sincere concern. It has been commented to me at some point that the staff seem to function as a caring team with each other as well as with patients.My family’s has found Dr. Rushin to be very knowledgeable in her field of dentistry. After examinations, she completely and thoroughly explains her findings and when action is needed/an option, Dr. Rushin (again, completely and thoroughly) explains options along with various pros and cons. She then carries out the chosen option. The entire appointment is carried thru with the very best dental care for the patient being the primary goal.Dr. Rushin always welcomes us with a genuine welcoming, caring attitude. I gather that is the normal attitude of the office. Dr. Rushin, I’ve noticed, works to help stressed or apprehensive patients relax. As this caring, welcoming attitude is prevalent, she and her office staff also walk the very fine line of, also, simultaneously, working to keep schedules as there are usually back to back patients. Dr. Rushin obviously cares about her patients.This treatment certainly makes the idea of “needing” to go to the dentist a pleasant thought that we are happy to do.

Incompetent office staff. Non inclusive to my grandson . Office manager was extremely rude to my daughter about my grandson.

Had a 2nd opinion/exam visit. The hygienist did a thorough job of X-rays, measuring & cleaning. Dr Rushin was gr8 & said we could do a couple of things But Not pull a tooth & put in a bridge, as the first dentist had recommended.I appreciate her honesty & professionalism. I will use them for my primary dentist of record! Her office staff is very helpful & I will enjoy using Monarch Hurst in the future!

Wow I can’t believe what this place did to my good friend who’s son has autism. Kicking them out of the office during the apt because her son couldn’t be quiet. Y’all should be ashamed of yourselves. I will never come here and will tell all of my friends of this experience on fb. Which is 2,000k + people.

I had a bad experience at this place getting some work done on my teeth back in 2011. I was lying up on the chair in a room, waiting for the dentist to come in and work on me. I waited and waited an extremely long time. It was so long that my bladder was full and I had to use the restroom. Bad. Still they didnt come, and I finally couldnt tolerate it any longer. If I waited a minute longer, I wouldve leaked all over their chair. So, when the assistant finally came in the room, I told her I had to go badly. No big deal right? Well, according to the change she made in her face, it was as if I had asked them for half a million dollar or something. She looked at me with disgust in her face and I got worried. I just simply asked to use the restroom. She acted funny and uncertain as she ambled toward the door, looking around, mumbling something I couldnt understand. I followed her, thinking she was showing me where the bathroom was located. At the corner she started telling someone ...she needs to use the restroom... and I walked next to her just in time to catch the female dentist moving her arms back and forth wording with her mouth to tell her we dont have one here. I couldnt believe what I saw! So, they didnt want me to use their restroom! What was that...discrimination? Maybe theyd rather clean up my wet mess all over their room floor then? I was very uncomfortable and said: Theres one over in Sears, I can go over there... the assistant said no, no...we have one here and indicated a very tiny room with a toilet and sink that I was relieved to see. But why did the dentist act in such a way toward a patient simply needing to use the restroom and relieve themselves? How many other people have they treated in a similar manner I wonder? I was certain that I would never be treated as such again, and made that my last appointment. Couldnt get away quick enough. They treated me poorly as I paid grandly.

I love this office. The staff is proficient and knowledgeable. I am a dentists worse nightmare and the hygienist I have is awesome and she does her thing wonderfully. The dentist is practical, professional and very willing to work with parients. They offer one Satuday a month which is convenient for those with jobs!

I had a great experience at Monarch Dental-NE Mall. Even though its very cozy, the staff members are very attentive. I do feel that the office could use some improvements spacewise. It is not the typical look for a Monarch Dental Office. There is no restroom for one, which I believe is essential for a medical office of any kind. While, the location is quote convenient, perhaps a more up to date space could be made available for staff to work in, thus providing a more favorable, workable environment for custimers, ultimately bringing more business.

Me and my husband had a horrible experience. They first set our appointment before they even open or before the mall open for that figure. Then fall to tell us they were located inside the mall after telling us they were next to Sears. (confusing information). Then we had to enter the facility threw the alley way because our appointment was set before the mall even open. Then they fail to mention this entrance before we arrived. We get there the dentist was rude and careless. She stated that she would not be able to do an extraction which I thought thats what a dentist do. She referred us to a specialist but, the staff fail to send the information to the Insurance Company. A two week process is taking over a month and now my husband tooth is back in pain and we had trouble getting a new prescription while he was in the office. Just a total mess and lack of everything i.e, skills communications professionalism. Wont recommend👎👎👎

My appointment time is at 4:30, came in 15 minutes early and waited till 5:15 to see 1 more patient before me just asked in. asked the rep how much more i gotta wait, was told another 15 minutes but wait a second, isnt this person was waiting as much as i have before? Decided to leave and why i write this comment.

Nope. Dont waste your money here. I will start by saying I am a very easy going person. I have worked in the medical field and completely understand that offices are sometimes limited by what corporations give their locations. But the entire experience here was the worst. I couldnt tell initially tell who was the doctor and who the technicians were because everyone was wearing the same awful, dirty looking lab coats. The technician (finally found out his roll) couldnt stop pointing out all of the flaws of the location- small, small, small. It really didnt bother me until he pointed it all out. I was seated in a room with a stained and broken dental chair and left to stare at the stained and broken ceiling tiles. Finally the doctor came in. She had a hair net, extremely crooked name tag, and face mask on. Never changed any of this- I dont find that very hygienic when working on multiple patients. She asked me if there were any issues and I explained some sensitivity I was having. She looked at my teeth and said she wasnt going to fix it because it was probably referred pain from somewhere else. Ok, I appreciate a doctor saving me money, but I know the pain I was having was a result of decreased enamel as I have the same issue with another tooth. Please dont tell patients you arent going to address certain concerns in that frank manner. I didnt see the doctors face until the end of the consultation, when she finally removed the face mask she had been wearing between rooms. I scheduled an appointment to return for fillings but canceled a few days later. I didnt feel comfortable with these people drilling my teeth. I transferred to another dentist down the road (MUCH better) but was never able to get this place to email my dental radiographs to the new office. The new office found what was causing other sensitivities in my teeth that Monarch missed and determined that I really didnt need some things that Monarch thought I should get. SOOOOO happy I decided not to return. Ive been to Monarch and Castle before, and this is by far the worst experience at a dentist.
