I first want to say the staff and the dentists are very nice professional. I went in for a cleaning two months ago, they answered my questions about getting my wisdom teeth pulled and then next step was braces. I paid in advance for my wisdom teeth the same day as my cleaning. However, I was traveling for work and wasn’t going to be back in that area. I called a week (on a Monday)later after my cleaning to explain what’s going on and see if I would be able reschedule. The person I talked too, told me that if I couldn’t set an appointment then I can pick up my refund since I paid cash. I call back on Wednesday to let them know I was on my way. The person I talked to say I have to get a check from corporate. I ask how long would that take they said two weeks. I called back two weeks to ask about the status they tell me 30 days. Due to my traveling I didn’t call them back for 60 days. Then I finally call on October 4, 2021 they say it takes 45 days for the money to be refunded.This don’t make since I called about this two months ago! This is VERY unacceptable, this should take so long to get a refund. To make matters worst, when I spoke to them today Oct 21 they said they process my check on the Oct 8 and they not refunding all my money they charged me a Covid fee.Learning lesson: Never going to this dentist office again and never pay in advance.

It would have a 5 star but. There was a three month delay on delivery of dentures. It was not there fault in a way. They did not follow up with the lab doing the work. Also my fault for not contacting them in a timely fashion. They were very good on this visit

As first time visitors we had a great experience with Dr. Lake and the team. Everyone was attentive and professional. The hygienist took time to explain everything to my eight year old so they could be involved with every step of the process. The front desk staff was friendly and courteous explaining administrative processes thoroughly.

My personal experience has been amazing. I have ALWAYS had a bit of anxiety for dental work even just check ups... The entire staff has been so wonderful, kind, caring, and sweet. They made me feel very comfortable and look forward to future visits! I have NEVER said that about any other dentist appointments so that has to mean something...I highly recommend but low key almost dont want others to know. Enjoy.

Its been over 2 years since Ive been to this dentist since Im rarely in town. I had 2 wisdom tooth extractions that were completed in under half hour. It was painless. The only small pain was the gauze pressing against my gums. after 2 days I felt nothing.

Great experience. As close to pain free as I’ve ever had and fast! Friendly stuff. Only down side is getting scripts faxed to pharmacy. Still haven’t been sent after 24 hours.

Denise, Leila and Dr. Lake were amazing with my 10 year old daughter! They were all patient, took extra time to explain everything to her and involved her in the whole process. She was nervous and they were all very sweet to her and made her feel very comfortable. Thank you ladies for being a rockstar dental team! She loved it so much we made her next cleaning appointment before we left the office, will be back for the whole families dental needs!

Very caring, compassionate and respectful staff. They listened and had a lot of patience with someone who had been traumatized many years ago. Dr. Lake was awesome and made sure my comfort was her priority.

This place is so amazing, Ive been coming here since 2010, the staff are extremely nice, the office is very clean and organized and they make u feel at home and not just a regular dental office. GREAT JOB TO ALL THE STAFF!

The dental hygienist was great! The reason I amPosting a 1 Star review is how the office manager, front desk and supervisor handled this visit. I have insurance and we moved recently to the area. I went online to find a new dentist close by. I found one that was in network at Dossett. I scheduled the appointment but after my teeth were cleaned a different dentist was present. At that point the cleaning had already taken place. My husband also had his teeth cleaned there because we had not received a bill at that time The front desk never told me that this dentist was NOT in network with my insurance.. They also never told me the original dentist I asked for had not been at Dossett for over 10 years. I did not find this out until I called and complained about my bill. I received a $285 bill which is insane for a dental cleaning. I called and spoke with the office manager. She told me she would have to speak with her supervisor but would call me back. She never did. I had to call back twice to find out that they still expected us to pay the $285. She then hung up on me. I then had to call the corporate office and they told me the best they could do was drop my bill down to $90. They told me the speak with my insurance about this issue. They did not own their own dishonesty. I’m very disappointed. I decided it was worth the drive to go back to my old dentist that has never treated me this way. This office is a corporation and it feels like you are just a number. Stay away and find a family owned dental office instead!

This was probably The best dentist I’ve been too. They made me feel comfortable and they will advise me of everything during my check up and I was up-to-date and informed on everything.

As usual the staff members were wonderful! They were pleasant and cared about my welfare. But especially Leila. She is always caring and efficient and love our conversations because they put me at ease.

Dr.Kim, her assistant, and the office manager are all extremely sweet and inviting. My procedure was quick and painless. I used to go here a few years ago and didn’t like it but the atmosphere is completely different and I will definitely be coming back and trusting them with my dental care needs!

Leila is the best dental hygienist I have ever had. I moved to Houston but still make the trip back to Dallas to be able to have my cleanings with her instead of a new dentist. She is very patient and cares about giving each person the best experience. Highly recommend, I don’t like going to the dentist but she always makes me feel welcome and less stressed about it!

Disappointed!!! Staff were friendly , that was only the good part!. on they first day of my visit they kept me waiting for almost 2 hours. the most disappointing was they didnt want to do my regular cleaning. They said I have to make appointment and they take charge for that. and Dr showed up and checked for 5 mins and she left. No regular cleaning was done! This is so sad!!

I have been a patient at Dossett Dental for a few years and Ive had visits for varied reasons. The entire staff is kind, friendly and professional. Ive always gotten appointments quickly when I needed to.

I came in for a paid diagnostic (exam) and left with yes we can fill them but not today come back tomorrow. I come back the next day and start the fillings and the doctor discovers no we have to do a root canal so I said thats fine and they only half way prep because again close to the end of the day they stopped working because it was late. I come back again the next day I get an email confirmation fpr my appointment again and the 3rd day doctor starts the finishing the rootcal and puts the crown in amd adjust it right. In the middle of the job she stops because she has a phone call meeting . I never see her again and has an assistant tell me Im sorry for the confusion but we have to get payment in full before we put the crown in . Again bad communication bad service and bad diagnostic which started yes just fillings to root canal and crown . 3 days going back to back and very disappointed with the email team confirming appt and I come to the office to get rejected and also walked away to go to a phone call meeting . The only person who understood was the lady who gave me the prices and she apologized for the miscommunication and waste of time. Also have emails of me trying to reach them about payment plan and misleading info. I dont recommend bad service and bad communication

Today in Hurst office resulted in a non-treated broken molar. I was removed from the office during the middle of a treatment, as I had already taken the X-Rays and was waiting for the dentist in the chair for the procedure. This because I told them Im a hospice nurse and at times I have COVID patients under my care (while wearing PPE and following CDC protocols). The lady at the front desk told me that because of that aspect I cannot continue with my treatment of a broken molar. Your staff stated that because of CDC guidelines, a needed medical procedure is being refused to another medical professional that unfortunately does not have the luxury to work with non-confirmed COVID patients. So I am now stuck with a broken and very painful molar because of my occupation and even though I follow the same guidelines from the CDC. I take COVID tests every now and then due to the exposure, and I notified the staff that I can show the recent negative test.

I’ve been going to Dossett since 2014. Maybe even before. Always satisfied with the services and prices. Thank you all so much.

I booked an appointment for my family a couple years ago and prior to coming, I called and they confirmed that my insurance would be accepted which is the sole reason I chose to go there. After the appointments, Dossett informed me that we were not, in fact, covered and have since reported me to a credit agency and its hurting my credit. I don’t have the cash to pay them for the appointments outright. They should eliminate this debt to them because of this error, but continue to send me harassing letters from attorney offices to this day.

It took almost 40 min just to take pictures of my teeth. in the paperwork I did mention how my gums bleed a little, just being honest considering I was trying to become a new patient. My gums bleed a little ever since I could remember and they told me I had a gum disease and freaked me out completely. When the hygienist came in all she did was poke my gums with a sharp tool and Diagnosed me with the gum disease.... of course they’ll bleed when you’re poking a sharp object in to my gums. After I asked if they would still be cleaning my teeth they told me no because I need deeper cleaning done, which I was suppose to receive two free cleanings and x-rays... nope. Just an hour and a half of taking horrible pictures of my teeth that had to be retaken multiple times and poking me. The only thing they did do, is make sure I knew how much everything was going to cost me. I just felt like they wanted money is all. I paid nothing, got nothing but pictures taken of my teeth and them telling me how expensive things would cost for that so call gum disease.By the way, my dentist back home who is two and a half hours away “undiagnosed” me with Periodontal Gum disease. Yeah turns out I was right.

I have been only coming in here for the last couple of years after taking advantage of their zoom whitening procedure that I found on Groupon and been doing my dental work here after switching over from my old dentist that I have had for years. I highly recommend Dossett Dental. Ive always been skeptical of dentist but I find Dossett Dental to be a very humble and honest and helpful dentist office. Very kind. I feel good about coming here and thats something I rarely say about a dentist office if ever.

Incredibly unprofessional! I had my appointment scheduled for 10:00 am and drove all the way from Fort Worth only to be told the dentist was not coming in. It would not have been as bad if it was not further explained that he had to leave on the previous Friday and no one had been in contact since. This is the second time I have not been contacted to move an appointment. The first was when they had a gas leak and couldnt take any patients for the day. They only told us upon arrival. Dont waste your time here. Find a professional service and not some worthless no-call, no-show dentist and staff.

I havent been to a dentist office for at least 13 years. I had very traumatic previous dental experiences. The staff at Dossett made me feel so relaxed and comfortable. They took their time with me and made sure I was okay. Today was just the exam and X-Rays. I actually look forward to going back.

I highly recommend Dossett Dental. They did a lot of wok for me in 2013, I am terrified of the dentist (I have been since a kid and have no idea why). I only go back when something is bothering me. I had decided to pop in another dentist office a little closer to home to get an estimate and I was told it would be $900. I wasnt convinced so I went with my gut feeling and returned to where I knew I was taken care of right the first time. I walked out with an estimate of $140.00! That is a HUGE difference. This office continues to provide outstanding care and are truly trust worthy. Take the time to stop in and give them a chance, I promise you wont be disappointed!

Dossett Dental is a great place to go if you are uninsured like me. They will work with you on a payment plan while taking care of your dental needs. They even provide discounts when possible. The staff are great caring people too!

These people really came through for me. I had visited previously and hadnt been able to make a follow up appointment. Then suddenly Ive been having excruciating tooth pain. They were able to get me in right away. They were truly sympathetic to how I was feeling. And they were able to come up with a feasible plan so that I could find relief. Im beyond grateful for Dessert Dental....

Recently started a new job so I needed a new dentist with my new insurance. I heard about Dossett from my sister and made an appointment. They have Saturday appointments which works great for my schedule. The staff has great customer service. Dental assistant Mark and Hygienist Jenna stood out.

The dentist does great work and so does the hygienist. All of the staff are amazing. The prices are reasonable. I cant say enough good things about them. I highly recommend them.

I needed a root canal and a crown I called a bunch of places in my network and none of them could get me in on an emergency basis, I was headed to Cruise and had An abscess, it was very frightening but I needed to get something done or else I would possibly miss my Cruisers 🛳 an abscess, it was very frightening but I needed to get something done or else I would possibly miss my cruise and I only had three days . I paid the same amount that I was going to pay with my in network with a crown root canal and all the work. I just had the final crown put in it feels great God willing it will be a very long lasting crown, Dossett dental was great

This is the best dentist office I have found in the 15 years Ive been in Texas! I have found their exams and procedures to be thorough, efficient, and painless. I have had a crown done here, as well as an extraction and they have bent over backward to make me as comfortable as possible, as well as my son who waited for me in the lobby. Being burned before, after the first time I visited this office, I took their list of recommendations and prices with me to my dentist in Oklahoma for a second opinion and was thrilled to learn that they did not recommend more work than necessary and that their prices were the best my OK dentist had ever seen! Oh, and the front office staff are GREAT; they are professional and fun!

Im not the best when it comes to needles but they know how to hit ya without even knowing. Its a breeze, they are so nice and friendly. I really enjoy coming here I feel welcomed. By far best dentist Ive gone too.
