My first experience was awesome! Everyone was so friendly, very clean, trendy and following covid guidelines. Lindsay was wonderful and so was her assistant! Great team! I was able to snag a haircut and style appointment but cant wait to go back in April to get my color.

Long time client whos had the opportunity to refer many happy friends who have also become long term clients. I was immediately drawn to this salon after finding out how seriously they take continued education in the latest techniques. All the stylists here are incredibly talented but I have to give a special shout out to Amy for always doing a phenomenal job on my blonde while keeping my hair long and healthy

I have been looking for a salon since my hair stylist closed due to Covid. This was a last minute option and my stylist Jordan was so understanding and helpful . I’m still in my appointment and chose to write this review because the service has been unimaginable! The salon is clean and friendly. Jordan has been amazing at making me feel welcomed and taking time to ask questions about what I want done to my hair. If you are concerned about Covid as well they handle that by maintaining distance from other customers and wearing a mask. Definitely will come here again!

We went through several stylists when we moved to the area years ago, is not an easy task. Amy K. does an incredible job every time with my hair, and also our daughter’s hair when she’s in town, and can get in. Melanie is the men’s hair expert and does a great job on our son’s hair. They are both excellent stylists, but are hard to get into. Thank you Amy K., Melanie & the entire super friendly staff at Salon Elleven!

I never leave reviews, but I’ve had my final straw. I’ve given this business three chances to fix the mess they left on my head and now I’m just left having to go to another salon to pay them for a correction. I’ve paid Elleven over $600 and still have an embarrassment on my head. I complained to the owner and she said she’d text me the next day for a date I can come in and get her to look at it and she never messaged me back. I’m more than upset. I’m not giving them anymore chances, and If you’re lookingFor a professional salon, this isn’t it. I’m only aware of one very good artist there and she stays busy. If you want to go blonde, please save yourself and don’t bother trusting this place. If they mess up, oh well. You’ll be broke and just be upset.

Ive been going to Elleven Salon for years and love it! I could easily get a cheaper haircut somewhere else, but Id never find the same quality of stylists and outstanding customer service. Joie greets you by your name the second you walk in and gives a huge smile. All the stylists are amazing, you cant go wrong. Theyll even give you a free glass of wine after a long day. They spoil you!

We’ve relocated several times and it’s always hard to find a good hairdresser. When I found Noelle at Elleven, I hit the jackpot! She is the bomb dot com! Elleven is pricey but Noelle is worth every penny!!

CURLY haired girls, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. I had never been here before, but my friends recommended it. I have super curly hair, and I was told that Noelle was the best for curly hair. Well, I asked for a baby trim. Noelle took over 1 1/2 inches off off my hair. Curly haired girls know, it takes FOREVER for our hair to grow. Today, I called Noelle to politely tell her that I was not pleased with my cut, and that I was upset because it will take so long to grow back. She then replied Honey, this is not life or death. This is not the type of stylist I would recommend to anyone, especially girls with curly hair!

Lindsey and Joie were manipulative. Make sure you get your price before because Joie likes to change the price on you and double it. Highly do not recommend. We were clients for over a year. We went in to get hand tied extensions, fell out after a day. Two of my extensions were “lost” by the salon. This place is full of a bunch of scam artists. Lindsey was not sincere and honest. I will NEVER return to 11 Salon.

I think this salon is super nice, and they did a good job dyeing my hair blonde (not the light blonde I asked for but I’m usually content about the results since my hair is kinda dark). The reason why I’m giving this place two stars is because the stylists was kinda rude. She would talk to literally everyone around her but me. I tried to be engaging but she would be very short with me. Maybe it’s because I look younger and she didn’t know what to say? I still tipped her 20%, but I probably won’t come back. This place was also hella expensive.

Ive been there twice, Amy cut my hair the first time then Noel cut my hair the second time. Both very nice ladies who listen to exactly how you would like your hair cut. I have enjoyed my visits there talking with different people.

I had a great experience and I have found my new stylist! I have lived in Huntsville for years, but would always wait until I visited my hometown (New Orleans) to do cuts and color. During my appointment with Gina, she listened to my ideas, offered opinions and spent time looking at various colors with me. She made sure that she understood exactly what I wanted. I got all-over color, highlights and a cut. She even explained what she was doing (step-by step) as she dried and styled my hair so that I could duplicate the look at home. I love the way that my hair looks and I will be visiting Gina exclusively in the future.

Becky has been cutting my hair for almost 18 years now. She truly is an artist. She always listens to what I have to say and she always goes above and beyond what I expect every visit. She is always on time and amazes me when she makes time to do the little extras and still remains on schedule. I love the salon. They go out of their way to make everyone feel comfortable. I cant imagine letting anyone else take care of my hair.

I have gone to Elleven many times and always enjoyed the service. I havent cut my hair in a while and will be seeing Noelle for keratin treatment. Ive gotten it several times and always enjoy the results. Because my hair is thick and curly, it seems to grow slow. But with this treatment, I am able to actually style my hair again! Cant wait to be back to my old length.

DO NOT GO TO THIS SALON!!!!!!! I was just there this morning to get my hair colored by Mikayla she quoted me a price a month ago and changed it this morning and I didn’t have enough money. It was so embarrassing, I was so extremely embarrassed to be there and then Mikayla walked off with a smirky smile on her face not even apologizing on her half she got the other lady to apologize and just offer to do my roots. I’m so extremely upset with this place.

The stylists are highly knowledgeable- they continue to learn and evolve by frequently taking classes led by experts in the hair care field. They love what they do and want every client that sits in their chair to leave happy and beautiful.

Melanie just cut my hair today and made me feel like a princess!Getting my hair shampooed by her was the cherry on top of this experience. It felt so nice; it alone was worth the price of the haircut.She was so friendly and I really felt like she took what I had to say about what I wanted into account. I have had so many awful haircuts before in my life. While really all I got from her was a trim, I can say that its the best trim Ive ever had.If you want a stylist who will listen to what you are asking for, takes the time to explain what she is doing any why, and gives you an awesome haircut, I would 100% recommend Melanie!

This is where I go and have since I first went there. They never disappoint with the hair. A bit pricier for the male cut than a cheap shop, but not as much as youd expect for the quality. Also you can drink fruity water and chocolate filles pretzel bites while you wait. This is my preferred hair salon/shop in town.

Make sure you clarify price for any service you have done here, they will charge you a lot of money for a simple haircut and style. Not worth it, i would highly advise looking at another salon for the money you will end up paying

This is the most excellent salon I have EVER visited! Becky is my stylist and she has been working with me over 5 years, but Ive also had blow-outs, waxes, mani/pedis, glazes & etc. from nearly every staff member at one point or another and I cant say enough good things about them. The number one reason I am loyal is because of illness, I lost about half my hair at one point. I was determined to just have my hair shaved off when a friend recommended Elleven. Becky looked at my face, hair type and texture and designed a cut to flatter me, plus disguise the hair loss. No one could tell! The hair grew back, but I still go to get amazing cuts and services. Everyone who goes there can tell you a similar story: no cookie cutter hair cuts and colors here. I am puzzled by the negative review regarding a missing stylist. I know at one point one of the stylists had a family tragedy and her appointments had to be juggled, but it pays to be understanding about things like that b/c you never know when you need someone to understand as well. But I know not all people have the same experience. I can only say that for more than 5 years I have had nothing but excellence from this salon.

It is so refreshing to step into a salon that isnt running over with pretension. Everyone goes well out of their way to make you feel as comfortable as possible. If youre looking for a new salon, this is where you need to go. Noelle is my stylist, and in the eight years Ive been going to her, Ive never been disapointed with her technique. It is so comforting to have a stylist/ color expert who really listens to your needs and wants. You will never leave without being educated on how to take care/ style your new cut or color.

Words cannot describe how TERRIBLE the service was. I spent $75 on my hair and it wasnt even clean after. I called ahead of time and notified the stylists that I am black and my hair is curly. I was assured that I would be properly cared for. However, I literally had to coach the stylist when handling my hair. i told her to use a brush, add more heat, and put oil on my hair. She charged me so much because of the time it took to straighten my hair. It took that long because she did not know how to handle my hair. She also never notified me of the price increase. THEY DO NOT KNOW HOW TO DO CURLY/ETHNIC HAIR!!! I was poorly informed of their capabilities. I complained upon paying, and they were very unaccommodating. Not even an admittance of their poor service. I was told that the stylist- Ashley- does black hair all the time. Unfortunately, everyones hair is not the same even in the black community. I would have rather an honest admittance of inability to handle my hair, than the dishonest and poor service I received. DO NOT GO THERE!!! Poor customer service!!!

I have tried to leave a detailed review multiple times, and the content gets taken down. Bottom line, bad experience. The haircut was poor and uneven. I asked them to cut my hair to its new length first, and add texture after, and the stylist said that was like double the work and was a waste of time. So I wound up with not just choppy hair, but uneven hair.Bonus: I bought products and an expensive blow dryer. The concentrator nozzle was missing, and they said they would order one for me. I had to follow up repeatedly to get them to order it for me.Finally, beware the 5-star reviews, as you get a discount if you give them a positive review.

Im from Florida and I was getting my hair done for the first time and for my 21st bday, and Alabama happened to be the state I traveled too. I walked into the salon everyone was very nice, I asked for my dark brown hair to be turned into a beachy blonde. My hair dresser refused to dye my roots because she didnt think I was going to keep up with them even though I asked her to do it and my hair looked really nice for like a day and then the cool tone wore out within a couple of days and I was left with the ugly hair color of when a hairstylist just strips the hair but doesnt do anything to it afterwards. Very upset with this salon and disappointed

Great salon, really has itself together, the lobby is really a great face for the salon....Too bad I didnt get beyond the lobby though. If you want to stop reading because I havent gotten my hair cut there this is the place to stop.I had an appointment with Gina Martzall at Elleven, my husband had gone to her and gave me rave reviews...however this was not her day to be professional. First I got a call while I was en route to my appointment that Gina was running 15-20 minutes late (I should expect my hair cut at this point to begin at 4:50 as my appointment was originally for 4:30). Too bad Gina or any of the receptionists lacked the courtesy, ability or professionalism to stay on top of the situation. I ended up leaving at the 45 minute late mark since it seemed theyd forgotten about me. Gina came out at the last minute offering a free hair treatment or whatever, but honestly ive been left to sit for 45 minutes while people came and left in the time id been waiting and im not really going to let someone im angry with for making me wait, touch my hair. She lost 2 clients that day, must be pocket change since she was callous when the situation was called to her attention. I told her as I was leaving the situation would have been remedied easily if she had come out from the back of the shop and been honest with herself about her time, that she was going to be later or didnt have time for me that day. I appreciate and respect a persons honesty far more than I do my own wait time, the same cannot be said for Gina.Like I said, GREAT SALON!!! but just avoid the hassle of Gina.
