I’ve seen the recent reviews and not that I am in validating peoples opinions and thoughts but I’ve had nothing but a pleasant experience with this pharmacy and store in general. I was even able to fill the prescription urgently and they were more than willing to override the original date for the fill so I appreciated that. Otherwise, pretty standard pharmacy situation and set up and it definitely doesn’t hurt that both the store and pharmacy or 24 hours.

Today I had the absolute pleasure of meeting Gracie a staff member that assisted me with my prescription. She was the most genuine Lee kind sweet and awesome person that you could ever meet in the world. She truly cares about people and doing her job and making others happy. She truly deserves the highest recognition. Thank you Gracie (Griselda) for making my day with your awesome spirit and kind attitude!!! Your best.

Literally the worst Pharmacy ever. They do not pick up phone calls. Also made my wife & I sit for what was supposed to by 15 minutes after your 2nd vaccine and it turned into an hour because they are so unorganized and got our vac cards mixed up. Would never recommend.

The employee Barbara is extremely rude to the customers. Not just to me but everyone that I saw her trying to help. She has an attitude problem and even with her coworkers she complained that she doesn’t want to do anything. Terrible customer service. Such a waste of time...

5 Starts to Ms. Georgia in the pharmacy as she dealt with a rush of customers and still gave painless flu shots. If you go there for one, ASK FOR MY GURL GEORGIA. She was a great representative and managing pharmacist at the CVS pharmacy.

Beware! Prescription errors are common. Customers have no recourse. There is no accountability for mistakes. When you finally get someone on the phone to notify them about the wrong medication dose- “ oh I’m sorry” is the response. There is no concern about the danger of giving out the wrong medication or dose.

Ive never seen a more dysfunctional pharmacy in my life. Ive been going there for a year-and-a-half and they still cant seem to get my prescriptions right it is extremely frustrating. I always have to call to make sure they are filling the correct prescription and if I dont call they dont even fill the prescriptions. Im usually on hold for at least 10 minutes or longer. Sometimes when I go to pick up my medication it is still not filled correctly. I would go to a different pharmacy but it is hard to get the medication I need unfortunately CVS is the only place I can get this medication. Very disappointing!!!

If Google allowed a written review with 0 stars it still wouldn’t be low enough for this place. I have on multiple occasions called the pharmacy before heading over for a pick up and being told it will be 15 minutes ( after it’s been HOURS) to fill a script and then the Rx is not ready. They clearly want to automate the store as I don’t think there’s ever a real cashier at the front of the store. AVOID at all costs. Only use if you need something truly in the middle of the night.

I also wanted to bring attention to Maria the pharmacist! She is not only helpful, sincere and concerning, she goes into detail about the medications i am taking and always reiterated how to take the medication. She is an absolute treasure! Every pharmacist there are fantastic except for one which i will leave out of this because this post is about HOW GREAT MARIA IS!!! Thank you Maria for being caring, understanding and non judgmental even though I decided to tell you what happened in my past and how lucky I am to be here! She is the best!!!Below is when I first started using the pharmacy being new to the area.I just recently started using the pharmacy as I moved into the area. All places have good days and bad days as I had 1 bad experience with a particular pharmacist in the evening( NOT Theresa the pharmacist, she is fantastic and also helped me on several occasions and with a big smile! Outstanding) but all that one employee’s action today...simply outstanding. Her name was Theresa. She went above and beyond to make sure my prescription was not only transferred over but got it filled what almost felt like instantly. I talk to over 200 people a day for work and I understand voice inflections, frustration, sincerity etc. she was beyond compassionate and sincere and really is the epitome of what an employee in a pharmacy should aspire to be. Obviously as customers we don’t want to be there but there is a reason why we are there, pain, Anxiety, heart conditions, allergies to name a few but an employee like Theresa exemplifies what it is to be a person helping those on the other side of the counter.Very long winded this is but I needed to write this a that is the first time I’ve come across an employee like this.Thank you again Theresa

I am a type 1 diabetic. I was picking up my insulin prescription today. The pharmacist was alarmed at how much my insulin costs. When I explained I will literally die without it so I couldn’t do anything except pay what they were charging ($700 for a 3 month supply), she said I was ‘too young’ to have diabetes, implying it’s my fault so I deserve to pay that much just to live.Come on CVS. Make this right

Only go here if you need to buy something without having to go to the pharmacy. I used to fill my RX there 5 years ago when I moved to Huntington, but they NEVER got it right, would never have my info updated so I never got notified when things are filled, and the pharmacists are constantly rude on the phone. They only get 2 stars bc they have quite a large store, but again avoid filling your RX there, Syosset is waaaay nicer.

I recently witnessed how a woman was harassing a Spanish man at the self checkout machine and most of us were just standing there not saying a word, some were even filming instead of helping, but then this woman which happens to also be a CVS employee came along and stood up against the other woman who was yelling nonsense at the man. I admire her action even though it wasn’t the rightest of choice, but she had the bravery to defend this man, a customer, who was just trying to buy condoms which apparently bothered the woman next to him. I was afraid to confront the woman and help the man, but Natalie wasn’t and I find that her action was so courageous. She is the definition of people who take action and stand up for what they believe. May God bless her kindness and her heart.

Stores does is best to coerce you to use automated checkout by making sure there is a long line. When they first installed the self checkout stations there was not even a line option--so I have not been back there since until today. Had a CVS coupon but automated checkout machine issues led me leaving my goods on the machine and just walking out empty handed.

Absolutely the worst CVS Pharmacy I have ever encountered in my life. Meds are NEVER ready HOURS after they’ve been sent. They are clearly not staffed with enough pharmacists or have very poor management. The staff always seems embarrassed or exhausted from constantly being yelled at for meds not being ready. Everyone on the line can be heard complaining. I can’t wait for the Walgreens to open. I’m out.

Absolutely the worst pharmacy I have ever been to. I call ahead of time, am told 20 minutes, I go in and it is never ready. This happened to me 4 or 5 times. The last time, it was around 11pm, no one was there and I got upset at the pharmacist. She told me that these things happen and she can cancel my prescriptioon if I want to go elsewhere. She knew it was 11pm and I had no where to go.they are right next to my house, but I will not go here.

THEY ARE THE WORST!!!!!!!!!!!!! Do not use them for the pharmacy. We have medications that we ABSOLUTELY need monthly for us and my young son. Every time we go for a refill they NEVER have our medications in stock and it takes weeks to get it. It is detrimental to our health to not take them monthly and this pharmacy does not care! The pharmacy at this CVS is the worst!!!! I get they are busy and the line is always long but every single time I fill a prescription it is never ready. Currently was told on the phone it would take 2 hours. Come in 2 and a half hours later and still not ready and they told me to come back later. It is an uregent medicine! This isn’t the first time it has happened. Whenever there is a problem with my prescription they never update me on it either. I always have to call and they tell me the issue but never notify me unlike other CVSs I have been too. The staff is always rude as well. If I didn’t have to get my prescriptions filled at CVS I would 100% go somewhere else

SAMANTHA the on-duty pharmacist at the drive-thru window was totally rude and inefficient. She first said that my prescription was never called in and made a mistake because my prescription was there and she was very unprofessional, careless and discourteous. CVS should be aware of how she is bullying their customers. I called the district manager and reported her. Her inefficiency and bad manners are inexcusable. I guess shes too important to be kind. Sad, because I would think that CVS could do better. There are probably 100 other more deserving people for that job.

The pharmacy is literally the busiest CVS pharmacy there is on long island. Dont come during peak hours, the pharmacy line is an entire isle long and the drivethru is long too. Both have long wait times. Staff is nice. Store is a little small, not as many choices as the larger ones.

If I could give this branch negative stars i would. How do they constantly screw up prescriptions. I waited 25 mins to pick up my sick toddlers antibiotic & I get home, its just powder. The lady helping me is joking around with other pharmacy staff while people are waiting & doesnt even notice that it wasnt mixed. This isnt the first time either where they gave me unmixed medicine. I have a sick toddler at home who is screaming, for my sanity, it needs to be correct. Awful, I will just go to Riteaid.

Worst service ever. Pharmacists dont care no matter who is on duty. One of my last visits, I had a script sent over in the around 8pm because they have all my info in their system. I called to see when it would be filled, they said no later than 11pm. I called around 11 and they told me another 30 minutes. I asked her if I should call, she told me she was the pharmacist and it would def be ready. I left the house around 11:30pm, I live very close. I walked in and the pharmacist told me another 15-20 min. I told her that I even called in and spoke to her, what happened. She said she got busy. There was NO ONE in the store at midnight on a work/school night. I said OK and started walking around. I walked by and saw her eating a bar of some kind. I was so upset. She slowly ate, then filled my script. When I went to pick it up, I told her that it was ridiculous. It was about 12:30am and if I knew it was going to take this long, I would have waited until the morning. She told me that doctors always make you wait, so what is the difference!?!? What the heck?? I told her that is during the middle of the work day and when the offices are usually packed. She just gave me a dumb look and I told myself I would never go there again.Next visit, I had back issues and was given a strong prescription. I was feeling so bad, I forgot about my last experience at this lousy CVS and had the script sent there. Also, this was middle of the day, so how bad could it be? I called to make sure they would fill it, they said it would be filled in a few hours. She put me on hold for 10 minutes looking for my script and verifying it was there, so she definitely looked at it. I verified that it was covered under my insurance and everything. When I went in, I was told it wasnt ready and to come back in 20 min. My back was killing me so I sat down and waited. After 20 min, she said it was not done and the pharmacist would be out to talk to me. Another 15-20 min and the pharmacist came out with a mean look on her face. She started to immediately tell me that my doctor is crazy for giving me such a high dose and she refused to fill it. I told her that I was in a bad situation and the doctor upped the dosage for just one week because I couldnt take the pain at night and my family was counting on me. She just didnt care and started talking really loud and everyone around me could hear. She then started grilling me with questions. REAL EMBARRASSING!!! She seemed like she as mad at me. Then she told me I should be careful who I see, and it was her legal and professional right to refuse to fill a script. I asked what was her name and if I could speak to the manager. She said she was the manager and if I had a problem with her, I could call the CVS 800 number and report her and that she may just report me and the doctor.I called that number (800-SHOP CVS). After going through a bunch of prompts, I was asked to leave a message regarding the feedback and someone would contact me within 1-2 business days. No one called me back. I tried again about a week later and AGAIN no one called me back.The two CVS pharmacists I had experience with did not care AT ALL about any customer service, were rude, must have violated some HIPAA laws talking so loud about my medication and my condition. Their pharmacists suck. I called the company, and they obviously dont care about customer service because I clearly articulated how rude I was treated and no one called me back. THEY SUCK!!

How is it that at 9:36pm, there is a line of 6-8 people waiting for their prescriptions to be filled? For the most part, the employees who work at the pharmacy here are helpful and friendly (save for one woman whose name I do not know), but they are SORELY understaffed!! My perscription was called in at 2:30pm from my doctor and 7 hours later I’m sitting here waiting for it! Every time i come here, which has been several times recently, the employees tell me they hired new people, but I see the same people here every time I come. If you insist on accepting this many fulfillments of prescriptions, hire and staff appropriately. Luckily this was not a time sensitive prescription for me, but it could have been. This is the closest pharmacy to my house, but I think I’d rather go somewhere out of the way rather than deal with waiting every time. It’s as if CVS realizes that the customers will just allow them to continue to do this.

I go there because its very convenient to my house. i use CVS all the time to develop my camera photos here, rates are reasonable, service is fat and good no issue.Pharmacy is also good and staff is very nice, but last week had a problem. I went to pick up my prescription from drive through option, the clerk is so dumb that she slightly opened the glass window asking me my name and date of birth, i repeated her more than 5 times , because its so hard to talk while glass window is not opened fully.Then her way of talking is also not good.27july I placed the order for 1 prescription around 11am, went there to pick up around 7pm,After waiting in a big line for 20 mnts, cashier told me its not ready, I asked why , she told me because of back up, thats why. Totally unacceptable 8 and half hour you can not filled up prescription. Then she told me it will be ready in 15mnts, but it was not I got text message around 915pm.Staff is not professional or helpful .

Pharmacy is way under staffed, extremely unhelpful, rude and the wait on the phone if your lucky is 25 min, in person and in drive through is always awful and long. Only reason I stuck with them for so long was bc they are open 24 hrs. You go there and have to always tell them which scripts you want filled...they always screw up prescriptions out...refills are never done unless you request it.. Im going to switch pharmacies.

Worse experience ... went to the drive thru to pick up my daughters medicine because she doesnt feel good and they made me drive 3 times bcuz they didnt have it ready yet and then ask me for my insurances card witch I told them I change it and I was waiting for the insurance company to mail it to me.. Then they told me it was $ 87 since I dont have insurance but I had to wait because still no ready after 4 tries I went hm call my insurance ask for every possible number the pharmacy needs , call back the pharmacy to give the info and the told me in the most nasty way the need the card or the pieceof paper w the info write it down they cant have the info over the phone because they are to busy at the moment and I have to go in the store and do not use the drive thru because is gonna take a while .... the pharmacy staff is so nasty w me that I feel discriminated because of my Hispanic accent .
