Beach Dental gets my vote for Best Dental Office! Ive been using them for several years. Dr. Tran and Luis always treat me with the utmost care and concern for my long term dental health. Ive had a few Cerec crowns over the years and Luis is a perfectionist when it comes to matching and sizing the replacement tooth. Couldnt ask for a better team!

Our family has been going here for years. Dr. Tran is great for dental and Dr. Chen is great for ortho. Very clean. Awesome dental assistants. 💦💧💊

I had a cleaning done at the office which took less than 20 minutes from start of cleaning to me walking to the front desk to pay (including fluoride varnish). The hygienist was very kind, but she did not do a thorough cleaning. She dried my teeth before beginning to scale and only scaled the teeth that really needed the cleaning proficiently. She did scale all teeth but it was done in a rushed manner. She polished my teeth extremely fast, and did not use adequate pressure. I will not be going back for any dental services as I feel it is a crime to do a teeth cleaning in less than 20 minutes. Staff was all very pleasant, but this cleaning shows severe complacency.

I recently moved to Huntington Beach and was looking for a new dentist in the area. I had a wonderful experience with the Beach Dental Group and am happy I found them! The entire team was professional and caring throughout the process. Jerry, the office manager, was super helpful and had everything with my insurance set up before I arrived, so the process was quick. Dr. Tran and my hygienist were all very helpful and informative, and it was clear they really care about their patients. I would highly recommend this group!

My appointment was at 8 am. I show up at 7:57 for them to tell me that oh it looks like your insurance was changed. Tried to give the front desk my moms social security (where my insurance is under) and he wanted me to yell it across the room. When I asked if I can write it down he said: we dont want your attitude. You can go somewhere else.Some background information:* about every 6 months when I go back for cleaning, this same issue happens and I tell them the insurance is setup under my moms social and it takes them 20-30 minutes to figure it out.* they called me 2 days ago to confirm the appointment and they didnt mention anything about my insurance.Very rude staff. They were even rude to other patients at the office. They straight up told the guy we dont need you inside when he was here to help his wife because her English isnt good.Complete waste of time. Im taking Jerrys advice and Im going somewhere else.Front desk had Sonia too.

Everyone here is awesome!! Our whole family goes to beach dental including my 82 year old mom. Jerry is great working with payments and each dentist and specialist has your health and well being their top priority. I have never liked the dentist and put it off so long that it impacted my teeth. Now that Ive been going to Beach Dental for 3+ years I find I it easy to make and keep my appointments due to there great treatment plans and kind and caring staff.

I went in for a deep cleaning on my teeth with Carissa Flores. She was incredibly professional and made sure my comfort was her number one priority. I was able to ask her any and all dental questions I had and received very thorough answers. My teeth feel much better and I look forward to continually going back to Beach Dental group and Carissa for years to come. Believe it or not, Carissa and the Beach Dental Group made my experience very enjoyable. I would highly recommend Carissa to anyone who needs a cleaning!

Beach Dental Group was accommodating and professional given the current climate. Ray and my oral surgeon did a great job in keeping the office safe and secure. I would highly recommend giving them a call if you are in need of a local dentist in Huntington Beach.

The office manager is completely unprofessional. I was going to use them for front teeth repair. They completely caught me off guard regarding the price for repair. Right before fitting me for my impressions, they told me that my insurance might not cover their portion, which was around $600. I had already received payment information from the front desk assistant, and I was told by her that the financial statement included insurance coverage. When I had a conversation with the office manager that I was upset because this information was not made clear before scheduling the procedure, he basically called me a liar. He said that his office assistant would never tell me that my insurance would cover their portion. Well... he was not present during that interaction so he doesn’t know what was discussed. I’m not going to pay an entity to be disrespected. There are plenty of other dentists out there!!

I hadn’t been to the dentist in over 4 years and was quite nervous. I had moved from Washington and only had one experience with a dentist in California that did not go well. I had the best experience from Carissa. She walked me through each treatment and advised me on a path to improve my teeth and in 6 months on my follow up visit I not only had better measurements, but I could see and feel healthier teeth. I am very thankful for the staff here, I have definitely found my forever dentist!

Definitely the most reasonable and accommodating dentist I have ever been to! Dr Tran has already performed numerous operations on my teeth with exceptional work - while making it cost effective and fitting it into my budget. They have an extremely friendly and helpful staff. This dentist is AMAZING! Best one I have found and the only one I will be going to. I was really insecure with my smile before. Thanks to Carissa and DR Nguyen I finally I got my dream smile and am so much more confident. My smile would have never been this great and good looking if it wasn’t for this dentist right here!!!! I have been going to Beach Dental, particularly Dr Tran for years now. You know how hard it is to find a good dentist?! Well I will NEVER switch.My teeth are so sensitive that I usually need to be numbed before a cleaning, Carissa is so gentle that I need no numbing at all! I request her every time! Tina helped me when I was I wanted my teeth whitened, she was great, and even showed me how to find coupons to make it less expensive. The entire crew at Beach Dental is amazing and friendly, highly recommend!

I used to be very, very scared of dentists. For years I searched for a dentist I could trust until my sister and her kids told me about this one.From the moment I walk in, until I pay and make my next appointment, my experience is always great. Yes, a dentist visit can be great.My dentist is Dr. Tran, I usually see Jerry and Sonia at the front, Cynthia and Luis are usually the ones assisting Dr. Tran, but everyone is soooo nice and efficient. The other day I had to be on the phone with my flex spending agency for 20 minutes and everyone was very patient and helpful.I have referred many of my friends and coworkers, and they have brought their family members all with a positive feedback.I wish all offices ran like this one. I love everyone here.

Dr Nguyen and Cynthia are great! They are both kind and gentle and go the extra mile to make sure you are comfortable while having work done. I’ve had a few bad experiences with previous dentists (at Beachside Dental-never go there!) so I’m extra sensitive and anxious when going in for dental work. I assure you these two and Beach Dental Group are some of the very best!! They have flexible payment plans, competing prices and guarantee their work.

Everyone here is extremely caring and professional!They truly enjoy working with each other and it shows. Carissa has done a wonderful job cleaning my teeth as well as teaching me how to properly clean them myself.

I absolutely love this dental office. My doctor, Dr. Tran, is the best dentist I have ever had. He is kind, compassionate, does not rush you and has a sense of humor. Carissa, the hygenist, was super quick, efficient and friendly. The girls in the office are amazing, too. Jennifer helped me with everything insurance and I cant remember the other girls name, but I cant recommend this place enough. If I wasnt moving, I would never use another dentist office.

Prior to coming to here, I had the WORST dental experience so I was nervous on my first visit. The staff did an incredible job of comforting me! My hygienist was incredible, Carissa Flores. She was very friendly and caused 0 pain (unlike the last place I went to) Dr. Sharifian was very good as well! I highly recommend this place to anyone!

I’m new to California so finding a new dentist has been a bit stressful. I first found Beach Dental Group in October and when I arrived I waited in the waiting for 45 minutes after my scheduled appointment time. I have a very busy schedule so this was a bit disappointing especially since I gave them all my insurance information prior to the visit when I made the appointment as well as had all my paperwork ready for when I got there. And after 45 minutes of waiting they weren’t able to see me because they didn’t verify my insurance until I got there and unfortunately at the time my insurance I had already covered xrays within a 6 month time frame which I wasn’t aware of. The front desk clerk made it out to be my fault like I should’ve have known that information before making the appointment. Either way it would have been nice to know before I waisted time sitting in a waiting room for 45 minutes. I left pretty frustrated, but understanding because I as well work front desk and know some situations just don’t work out.After waiting a few months for my insurance to be good for my 6 month visit, I decided to give this place another try. This time they were able to get me an appointment right away which was a plus! (The only reason I would give them one star or it would be a solid 0/5) I was very happy about that, and my wait time in the waiting room was very minimal compared to the first appointment.Unfortunately my experience with the hygienist and the dentist herself was not a good one. Previous to this dentist office I had been seeing the same dentist for several years who’s in a different state so I was already weary about trying someone else.I had a few cavities that needed addressed and the dentist was able to take care of them that day which was great, but on top of the cavities she told me I needed all of these unnecessary things that were completely unreasonable. I have a fairly healthy mouth as I’ve never had the kind of issues at my previous dentist. So that was a little concerning, I felt like she was just trying to squeeze money out of my insurance and me as well. On top of that I’m used to getting my teeth cleaned every six months but because she said I needed all of these things she wasn’t able to have the hygienist do the regular 6 month cleaning which besides the cavities is what I wanted most! So after everything I didn’t even get my free six month cleaning that my insurance covers.I needed the cavities filled and I had already spent so much time at this place I just wanted it done. So I did decline all of the unnecessary things she was saying I needed and went ahead and just had the cavities filled.By the end of my visit my face was completely numb and I was just hoping she did a good job. As I’m checking out I decided to take a quick feel with my finger and the tooth that was more concerning because it was one of my front teeth...she did a complete hack job. The front of my tooth was rough, bumpy, and just completely unacceptable. I could easily pick off the filling if I wanted too that’s how bad it was. It was not smooth at all and was really uncomfortable to feel. After being there for about 2 hours, maybe more, I just wanted to be done. But I went ahead and let the front desk know and she took me to the back once again. I waited for the dentist for a little while longer and when she came in the room I could see that she was just over it herself and I could feel her frustration. It made me feel like I was just a problem she was having to deal with when it was her who didn’t do a good job in the first place. I just feel like that was all really unprofessional. (This dentist office definitely does not have that homie feel that I’m used to.) Especially for someone who was considered a new patient. I’m glad I felt around with my finger and mentioned something to the front desk on the way out or when I wasn’t numb I would have felt all that with my tongue and mouth and would have had to make a third appointment to this place that I don’t ever want to return to.

This Dental Office is amazing . Andrea at the front was quick to help me sign in and get my appointment confirmed and checked in. While i was waiting Jerry was able to check my insurance coverage and confirm my eligibility. Cynthia took me back to do my Xrays and got them uploaded into there system. After Dr. Nguyen did my exam and told me my things I did good with and need to work with. After Carissa did my cleaning . Feels so good to be clean ! Everyone here is always nice and cheerful. Always willing to help . Luis did my impressions for my whitening trays and was Gental working in my mouth . Everyone here works as a team and have been coming here for years and have referred many friends . If your new to this area or not happy with your dentist , give Beach dental group and orthodontics. There the best!

I have been going to this dental office for over 5 years and they have been very helpful and explain and financially work with me. My husband has an emergency and they contacted the Oral surgeon to see him same day and his issue was resolved. The Oral surgeon kept in contact with us and was very concern in regards to my husbands dental issue as well as his medical issue. I give them 5 stars.

My son (14) and daughter (11) go here for regular dental visits, as well as orthodontics treatments. Both ADORE this place and have repeatedly stated they wouldnt want to go anywhere else. We drive from Costa Mesa just for the great care they get here.

Ive only ever had excellent service and treatment here. I see Thuy-Hien Nguyen who explains everything thoroughly and calms my nerves when necessary. I had an issue with a filling where my tooth was very sensitive weeks after. No questions asked she said you know what lets just completely re do it rather than spend time looking around for the issue. Fixed it 100%. The reception team are also friendly and professional and seem to understand that you may be forking out a decent amount of money so make sure you know what youre in for. They called my husband prior to his appointment to let him know his insurance coverage had maxed for the year so pushed the appointment a few weeks so our insurance would cover again. That is going above and beyond in my opinion.

I have been visiting Dr. Tran and his assistant for quite a while now.They are by far the best in h.b. Dr Tran is outstanding at what he does and Luis is just great.I recommend them all the time.

Over charged bills, not to honored own advertised price on newspaper.I am very disappointed their invoice of 1000 dollar bill for CT scan, and Deep cleaning with laser treatments. . I may need to talk with California consumer protection agency.Need to read estimate and contract very carefully. There are so many unnecessary hidden treatments.

Work is ok, very time consuming, staff could have more knowledge and professional mannerism. Lots of giggling and joking on it seems like. Overall not bad office but they seem to busy for new patients.

I only chose one star because 0 Stars was unavailable.. I hope you read this entire post before you decide to go to this place.. Im going to tell my story and hopefully all of you read it and not make the same mistake. . This is the absolute worst dentist office Ive ever been to in my 29 years of life, I went there for the exam and x-ray specials they have and found out they wanted $3,300 to remove my wisdom and a molar.. So I went to the College of USC to have my teeth removed which was a lot more affordable and encounter dry sockets. I came back to be evaluated after the surgery and the dentist completely was oblivious because she said I didnt have an infection and I didnt have dry sockets and was quick to refill pain medicine which I didnt want I just wanted the problem fixed. I ended up having dry sockets and suffered for a week and a half, if you are familiar with the pain its the worst thing in the world. Crazy painful. ..i called them back and they refuse to work on me because I didnt get the teeth pulled from them. Its pretty rotten to refuse someone who already paid for the insurance plan and someone thats in critical pain!. Southern California is a very big place and I would recommend to go any where but this place they are rotten Lowdown Crooks. I found a new dentist and called to have my x-rays transferred and they wanted to charge me $30 just to email me them..stay away from the insurance plan these people are terrible if you get the lady with dark hair be advised shes oblivious to tooth infection she obviously has no idea what shes doing..

I have a fear of going to the dentist but Dr Luu and Tina has made my experience so easy and enjoyable. Dr Luu is very sweet, understanding, and thorough. Her assistant, Tina, is quick with the xray process and I was in and out within an hour with my cleaning. I really like that they have payment options available and they are flexible with my schedule. The office itself is very clean and spacious. This is by far the best dental office Ive ever been to.

Bad experience for me and my wife. High-pressure sales environment. Always trying to upsell for optional services that insurance doesnt cover. This place is like a car dealership. It happened to me and I warned my wife to not let it happen to her.My Experience:They quoted me $350 to repair a small chip in my front tooth. They waited until I was there for over an hour and sitting in the chair with the little napkin clipped around my neck to drop this huge price on me. I said that I had it fixed the first time for like $75. I got upset and left. They called me on my cell phone 15 min later and said it would be $125. I really needed it done, so I ate crow and went back. They performed the work, and it was fine, but I dont want to have to negotiate to get dental work done.We gave them another shot when it came time for my wife to get a normal cleaning. She made the appointment in advance online and showed up on time. She was there for an hour and a half. They said they wouldnt do the normal cleaning covered by insurance. They were only willing to do a $400 deep cleaning with lasers that is far above and beyond what insurance pays for routine cleanings. She refused to be upsold on additional services and left with nothing done. Waste of 2 hours of her day.We also cancelled the appointments for our two kids who were scheduled for typical/preventative cleaning and inspections.We cant trust this business to do whats right for our family because they are too concentrated on the optional services. CONSUMER BEWARE.

So I went to the dentist office when I got there I was very anxious and I had alot of questions so I ask tina about the procedure and she answer all my questions and then dr luu came into the room and make me feel very comfortable about my procedure the whole team was awesome

The girl on the phone is was rude!!! I rate the practice based on how I am treated from the 1st phone call to the second I walk out the door. I would recommend hiring someone professional with strong customer service skills as your patients 1st point of contact.

I went and saw the dentist in mid week of March I experienced extreme sensitivity I came back and saw the same dentist to treated me Dr. Wu two times and then I saw the main dentist I have no relief it’s been two weeks and I’ve been asking for my perio chart and Jennifer and Andrea do not want to provide it to me and I’ve already filed a grievance with the insurance company just be cautious because I have a strong feeling that they cut my gum when they were filling my cavities and they don’t want to fess up to it but I now have a dark spot on my tooth that has never been there and they said that there’s nothing they can do about it and all I’m asking is my chart to be sent to me with the appropriate form for Hipaa. So I can get a second opinion.My initial thought was no because Of the negative reviews but then when I called back I wasn’t please with the first person I spoke to you and so I canceled however because I need to go to the dentist this is who my insurance said I had selected under my HMO when I went into the office everybody was wonderful however nice doesn’t take away the pain I’ve pretty much made almost everybody in the office and no matter how nice they are their lack of follow through sucks and all I’m asking for is the release form as I’m not going to set foot in their office again so that I can get my Perio chart and go get a second opinion.How many attempts Jerry should one take. Ive been asking since March 21,2019 clearly your staff doesnt care to respond. Im utterly disgusted.

Run away from this place as quickly and as far away as you possibly can. This is the most poorly managed, unorganized, professional, unskilled dental office I have ever been to in my entire life. Two experiences stand out in my short two-year stint of care. First was when they started a root canal and were unable to finish due to the endodontist being on vacation for 10 days until he could fix it. Leaving me in agony with nothing but a bottle of pills. If that wasn’t bad enough they also charged me $1000 for a crown that was prematurely sized for a tooth that was never operated on in their office!!Unfortunately it doesn’t stop there… I had had a molar filled about six months prior to all of this. Currently it is only a year old. Went to see a new dentist and he informed me the tooth had been cracked due to Beach Dentals work and the filling was done incorrectly. He said that the mistakes they made is what they teach students their freshman year of dental school. And as a byproduct of this rookie move I now have to have another root canal and purchase another $800 crown. 👍🏼If you have kids or if you value your dental health whatsoever I would stay far away from Beach Dental Group. Absolutely terrible.

I am changing offices and would not recommend this office to any of my family or friends. Was a new patient on my first visit I was having x-rays and a teeth cleaning done (the x-ray tec was great) everything else was not. After X-rays I was put in a room a dentist came to see me looked over my x-rays and seen a few things that needed to eventually taken care of, said they will send someone in with payment options for the extras. After an hour waiting in the room no one came I had to leave for work and never got my teeth cleaned mind you I was the first appioment of the day. When I left the office person said they would email me within an hour with the pricing I was waiting for. They never sent that info I had to call and ask again, I also tried to book an opponent online never got a call or response. Now Im trying to get a copy of my x-rays and its been almost 3 weeks from when I first contacted the office to get a copy.One last thing my roommate called to get a price for a basic teeth cleaning without insurance they quoted her $200.00 because of the bad experience I was having, I asked them the same question to see if they would give me the same answer?! first they didnt want to answer me but after asking 3 times they told me it was $90.00 if I didnt have insurance mind you I have insurance I just wanted to see if they would give my the same price they quoted my roommate and that was a big NO. I dont trust this place and do not recommend wasting your time.

They are crooks. I have good insurance and have been going there for a few years and last time I went, over a year ago, they told me I needed to have over a thousand dollars worth of work (out of pocket, after insurance) and I said no. Then I saw them again recently and they said a ceramic onlay for one tooth would be $800 out of pocket (after insurance)!! I went to see another dentist in the area and he told me it didnt need to be done and if it ever did it would cost half of that. Ive heard from multiple people that when they went there they were told they needed all this expensive work and then gone elsewhere and told they didnt or got it done much cheaper. There are too many dentists to have to stay with a bad one.
