Dr. Fukuda is always thorough and spends an adequate amount of time explaining protocol to patients. She is efficient, punctual, and an amazing physician! I would highly recommend going to see Dr.Fukuda.

I called and was able to secure an appointment within a week. I arrived and did the necessary paperwork and was called back to see the doctor within 15 minutes. I was shown to an examination room and the doctor arrived a few minutes later. I explained my concern and she offered a solution very quickly that did not require any follow up visits, The quick recommendation is working well. All in and out within 45 minutes.

Love going to her. She never disappoints me at all.

Their doctors and staff establish the benchmark for excellence in every step of the process, from diagnosis through treatment or surgery. Recently I’ve been to see Doctor Fakuda and she diagnosed my condition quickly and concisely, explained details of my condition, provided treatment options, and scheduled my follow up visit. In my opinion she’s the best in her field.I rarely post written reviews, however I wrote this with the utmost sincerity and enthusiasm because it is so rare to receive this level of quality care in any profession whether it’s medical or other.

I already have recommended and will continue to recommend patients with complications who need an orthopedic to Dr. Tomiko Fukuda. She and her team have given me hands down the best treatment Ive received from any hospital. I had gone to 2 other doctors for a complication I have been dealing with and received bad, money driven, only option fixes. Dr Fukuda had worked with me and given me several options on how to take on my leg problems and didnt immediately jump to the conclusion I had needed an expensive surgery. Dr. Fukuda is the Best! From my personal experience with my son I am thankful that I was lucky to find her as his Dr. I live 2 hours out of Houston and brought my son to see local Drs and it wasn’t until I took a chance to make the drive that I knew I was where my son needed to be for the Best care. She has gone above and beyond for us as I know she would for any of her patients. One of the best things about her personally is she treats her patients as family and explains things so that we could understand what it was exactly that was wrong and how to fix the problem and she didn’t just rush us in and say he had to have surgery and send us on our way. I can not Thank her and her staff enough on the care from her and Everyone in that facility. I recommend her to everyone and will continue to do so.

I broke my fibula bone on my leg & Dr. Fukuda fixed it, I am very pleased with her Medical performance!

THE BEST doctor! Dr. Fukuda fixed my broken ankle (spiral break) and one year later I cannot tell that it was ever broken although I know she had to put a plate, 3 screws, etc... to fix it! Even her stitching is perfect and I had very little scarring. Her diagnosis, treatment and follow up care were exactly what I needed after months of misdiagnosis and lack of care from another doctor (not at her facility). When you first meet her, you realize quickly that she is not only caring, she is an expert in her profession. She prides herself on perfection and her patients benefit from her care. Thank you Dr. Fukuda.

Update: 10/15/18After seeing an amazing Orthopedic, Dr. Leaseburg at Methodist in Clear Lake, he confirmed that I do have a fracture in my heel, along with some nerve issues caused by the extreme amount of fluid and swelling in my foot. He gave me a nerve block injection, along with a heavy duty steroid injection in my left foot and has put a cast on my right foot to heal the fracture. For the 1st time in over a year, I wake up with minimal pain! If this lady had her way, Id still be in EXTREME pain !!!!!I was referred to Dr. Fukuda by another Orthopedic Doctor, because she was supposedly the best in the business for Plantar Fasciitis. When she came into the room, she immediately started asking me questions about what I had previously done to correct the issue, she evaluated me and then proceeded to tell me exactly what the other doctor had been telling me to do for the last 6 months. I tried to interject to let her know that I had been doing all of this treatment for six months and she blurted out dont interrupt me, let me finish. I said, excuse me...did you even look at my MRI/X-rays that I had done last week? She replied with no, but I have 90% success rate with this and you need to listen to me and do exactly what I TELL YOU TO DO! I again tried to speak and then she replies with youre obviously annoyed and Im VERY annoyed with you, so Im going to walk out now for a few minutes. It was very apparent that she was unprepared and did not care at all about the excruciating pain that I have been in for the past 6 months. I absolutely DO NOT recommend her!!!

Just had first visit withh Dr. Fukuda, very nice,explained everything and no doubt she is very professional and cares about what she does. All the staff was very prompt and nice. Would highly recommend.

Dr. Fukuda put pins in my toes the size of my bones and removed one of my knuckes in my smallest toe after I told her not to before going into surgery. 2 weeks after surgery my bandages were removed & I was very upset because my toes were not positioned correctly and the suture job was horrible. As a result I got ugly scar tissue.Several months after surgery I told her I was in severe pain which radiated to my ankles. After a year i asked to have them removed. She said she couldnt do that, it was risky. I wonder why? Probably because of the size of those pins. To my horror she said shed amputate my toes before trying to remove the pins. After that remark I never saw her again.I saw my former podiatrist whom should have done the sugery to begin with.( Dr. Fukuda said never to trust a podiatrist to do the work of broken toes. (More like dont trust her.) So my podiatrist Dr. Miller successfully removed two of the pins, straightened my toe, and rectified the scar tissue. He said that the pins slid right out, as if my body wanted them out. My toes look and feel relief. I have one more surgery to remove the other pin from my other foot.Dr. Fukudas bad decision to use these pins have caused 3 years of pain to my life in which I was no longer able to walk, run, dance, climb, or wear high heels, much less wear open toe shoes because of her removing my 5th toe knuckle.I had even told her that I was an active person and that I was trusting her decision. She said Id be able to return to my normal activities, LIES!!I urge you DO NOT HAVE HER OPERATE ON YOU IF YOU VALUE YOUR FEET.

I donot recommend Dr. Tamika Fakuda for the following reasons. This doctor seem to be taken and driven by the insurance money than patient well beingAll patients are seen and diagnosed in a pit looking Room where Casts are put on, clearly in violation of HIPA, discussing and hearing other patients condition and sickness, I could hear and see patient to my right to my left and in front of me, Dr. Fakuda not able to discuss options in private, and usually scream out her displeasure of medical condition of all to hear.she refused to set needed surgery date, too busy with other surgeries. her excuse was swelling reduction keep putting and changing cast week after week after week after week week delaying needed and recommended surgery...... causing imbalance, lower legs discomfort and skill conditionsfinally i went to another orthopidec surgen, who recommended surgery immediately, new doctor was appled by previous medical care by doctor Fakuda, bad is when doctor Fukuda heard about visiting another 2nd openion, she started bad mouthing that doctor too.... clearly in violation of integratey and HIPA rullesThere are no free parking, $10 a day, not allowed to see another doctor of even same medical group ( I was told they dont like to send patient to another doctor even within same doctor groups)Be my guest if planning of risking your health as I did....... if this doctor tried to put you in cast to reduce inflamation...... run for cover
