Dr. Palumbo and his team are professional, efficient and knowledgeable. My son broke both bones in his wrist and we werent sure what to expect. He led us through the treatment and follow-up visits with calm and ease. I would recommend him to everyone needing an Orthopedic Specialist.

After much research and a recommendation from a friend who was speaking from experience, I went to see Dr. Palumbo for a rotator cuff injury. He performed the surgery and the results have been great. He takes the necessary time to answer questions and offer explanations at the post-op appointments. I am currently still doing physical therapy, and I am on schedule to make a full recovery. I have complete confidence in Dr. Palumbo and his staff.

Short answer: highly satisfied and have recommended to friends and colleagues. As for more detail info... Im in my mid 40s and have visited Dr. Palumbo for many years, ie. wrist pain, shoulder, and fingers. Due to my prior active life style I had injured both of my shoulders with labrum tear(s) and was in pain 24/7. I talked to Dr. Palumbo regarding surgery, therapy and recovery time, and he laid out the time frames and expectations. I had surgery on one shoulder late 2020, and second surgery on the second shoulder about three months ago. I am now pain free, and meeting my recovery targets. Please note that the therapy is done right next door, so when things are not moving along well, Dr. Palumbo engages with the P.T. and provides recommendation and set expectation on recovery time. I couldnt be happier with the service and results from the surgeries. Dr. Palumbo, Danielle, front staff and P.T. make a great team.

Dr. Palumbo seems to be in a hurry, doesn’t care to listen to the patient and shows no interest whatsoever in the patient’s overall well-being. One of the worst ones I have ever seen. I will never come back.

My son had a complete tear of his UCL druing the summer after his junior year. In order to play baseball in college, we knew it would need to be repaired. We met with several surgeons and decided to go with Dr. Palumbo to perform Tommy John reconstruction surgery. What we appreciated about Dr. Palumbo is that he saw my son immediately, listened carefully to our questions and concerns, as well as provided the pros and cons for each of the options. He patiently, thoughtfully and thoroughly answered our numerous questions. The surgery was performed the following week. Follow up and rehab has gone very well and 11 months out, my son, while not at 100%, is already throwing at pre-injury velocity, with still more upside to come. He leaves for college this fall and is ready to get back to competitive pitching in the spring.Dr. Palumbo and his assistant Danielle were really fantastic through the whole process. We would recommend him wholeheartedly.

Was a good practice. Now the practice sold out to Oakbend and no longer accepts medicare. Great disfunctional healthcare system and compensation focused practice. Disappointing

I’ve seen Doctor Palumbo twice and it has never been helpful to me. As a general observation: he seems to rush patients and does not demonstrate a lot of care during consultation. Find somebody who is as interested in getting you well as you are, because that person isn’t Dr. Palumbo.

Dr. Palumbo and his physical therapist Pam are the best. We interviewed and got 3 opinions from 3 different Othopedic surgeons for my daughter who fractured her fore arm during a bad fall from bars while doing gymnastics. We felt 100% comfortable with Dr. Palumbo. I myself am a Nurse Practitioner I was impressed with his knowledge and expertise. Surgery was a success and went smooth, the facility and staff are perfect. Physical therapy with Pam was wonderful she was able to get full range of motion back quickly and gain confidence and strength. My daughter has healed very well and will be back to her sport soon. Thank you so much Dr. Palumbo and Pam this experience was tough but when you have the best Sports medicine doctor and physical therapist it gives you peace.Update 2021:Our daughter unfortunately had another fall from bars a couple years later after her initial injury which we described above this time a more severe injury in which she dislocated both elbows, we did not know if she would be able to do gymnastics again. We were so thankful to have Dr. Palumbo whom we trust fully operate on both elbows. She rehabbed recovered wonderfully again and returned to gymnastics! This year 2021 we were able to see her achieve her dreams after everything at her level 8 Texas state championship where she won vault, floor and all around titles! We thank Dr. Palumbo, Danielle, Pam ( her wonderful physical therapist who also walked with us both recoveries) and staff for helping my daughter recover so well and achieve her dreams. Dr. Palumbo is very knowledgeable, with a kind bed side manner. We 100% recommend him and his staff! Thank you Dr. Palumbo!!
