If you want a doctor who spends less than 7 minutes with you and tests you for things that you do not ask for to charge up your insurance, then she is the one! She has done this to both my daughters. During the well exam (which is covered at 100% by insurance), she tells them they are too young for a pap smear, does not give them a breast exam; however, she orders a test that isn’t fully covered by insurance. We are stuck paying this unnecessary invoice without a choice. She ordered pills by mail (instead of the pharmacy we requested), and she chooses the birth control that is $80. Now, let’s be clear that contraceptives are covered at 100% with insurance, except the ones she prescribes. Very unethical behavior! Also, this person has zero empathy and should not be around humans!

I’ve been seeing Dr Romero for over a year now. My experience has been pleasant. The staff has been very pleasant also. She ensures that you leave with a complete understanding of your circumstance.

I had the displeasure of having to be treated by Dr Ramero years ago (I needed emergency surgery and she was on duty). She was rude and has no bed side manner whatsoever. At her office for the follow-up she was unprofessional. Definitely find someone else to be seen by.

I LOVE Dr. Romero! She delivered my daughter. I find her to be very professional but also personable. I had NO problems with her staff or her. It was easy to make appointments and payments. They also helped me with insurance codes to help me check with what was covered. She was amazing delivering my baby. I strongly recommend her to all my friends and family.

She delivered my second daughter some years back and I can tell you I’m still haunted to this day by her lack of professional ethics and skills! While my wife was on the delivery table she was still at her yoga class. I can’t begin to describe the horror of watching her deliver my baby girl!Do your homework folks, There’s a lot of good doctors out there! If there was a negative 10 star review I would definitely give that!!!

I wish I could leave her a negative star rating. If you are looking for an OB doctor that has the warmth of the polar caps and the gentle touch of a stack of bricks she is your doctor. We came to her because someone told us she was great but we never got even a smile. No patience with first time moms, stitched without giving it a minute for the anesthesia to kick in, we didnt even get a hi at the time of delivery. All we heard was a quiet why did you call me? To the nurse and that was that. I guess she picks and chooses who she likes but we wont go back to her ever!!!!!!

Love Dr. Romero and her whole staff. They are all nice and very helpful. I have been seeing her since 2006. She has delivered 2 of my babies and preformed 1 surgery. She is very knowledgeable in her field and it shows.

She delivered my son in 2008 and it was the worse ob/gyn experience for nine months. I should’ve wrote a review a long time ago, but my sister is now pregnant and know the importance of getting a doctor with a soft heart especially when you’re pregnant. As if my anxiety weren’t bad enough, imagine having a doctor with bad bedside manners. If you’re pregnant I totally recommend going to a doctor without a stone face. Women are more emotional at this time and it’s important to have a doctor to at least pretend she cares. I used Jessica Lee in 2012 to deliver my daughter and it was a more pleasant experience, also in Willowbrook.

Rude and unprofessional, had to leave after just second visit. Also, long over an hour wait even after I got there in time for my appointments, she rushed us (seeing us for five minutes) was my first pregnancy she did not give me any tips or valuable information rather a any questions? Followed by vague sarcastic answers. I never got the bill (even tho I kept asking when I will pay) and they sent it to collectors and now my credit is bad all because of a horrible decision to try her out as my babies doctor!!! Waste of time and money!!! She sees this more as her job than your special experience!

I wanted to schedule an appointment, but the receptionist just blow me off. First, she said Dr.Thompson is not available in December and she can have dr. Romero see me. Then she said that once I go to dr. Romero, I wont be able to switch the doctors. Seriously??? I thought I have this right as a patient to choose my OB, but not in this clinic. In addition, in just 4 min she put me on hold 3 times, every time she was back I had to explain the nature of may call ANNUAL CHECK UP, FIRST TIME PATIENT! Oh Lord, just hang up and schedule my annual with someone else.

I have seen Dr. Romero for years and years. She is the reason my daughter and my son are alive! She is an excellent Dr.. EXCELLENT. However, I will not be returning. Since becoming a part of the hospital it’s all about MONEY. I showed up for a tumor biopsy shortly after my divorce. My ex was responsible for all medical bills. He didn’t pay the outstanding $110. I tried to explain to that dragon lady billing person. I am on my OWN insurance and we are not together. She refused to allow me to see the dr. or talk to Dr. Romero. I asked if she would take payment and she refused. I had to scrap together change from the bottom of my purse, borrow money from my bestfriend (came with me) and ended up bawling my eyes out. The evil witch took my last penny. Really. I had NOTHING to do with the prior bills but she wouldn’t even review it or listen. She wanted the money period. If it wasn’t cancer screening I would have told her to stuff it! Its cancer woman not a simple check up. Let me see the Dr!!!Months later I called with a terrible UTI and was told to wait a few days. WHAT? I talk to the nurse line and she was shocked the appt person said that. Then I have to see the nurse practitioner who is cold, has no manners, is rough and just plain old RUDE. Again, I’ve been seeing Dr. Romero for 10+ years. It has been nothing but DOWN HILL.Dr. Romero is still the sweet caring woman she has always been, but the NEW staff is terrible. I miss my old office. I don’t care how small it was or even waiting hours to see Dr. Romero because she was delivering a baby. I have to change now. I can’t deal with the stress and lack of care there. It’s tragic but I guess everything must change… the office sure did.
