My first experience here was in December 2017 with my first born and my second born was recently this month in October 2021. Both times were phenomenal. My husband and I really enjoyed Alice. She prepped me before my scheduled C-Section. Made everything very comforting. We never had the same nurse twice while recovering but they were all nice and friendly. They spoke to us like they were friends rather than patients, which made us feel comfortable. The cafeteria always called to get your order in for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. On discharge day we ordered a sibling cake to take to our son and it was so delicious! He definitely enjoyed his baby sister bringing him home a cake. Definitely recommend, you are in good hands.

All the nurses were very informative and caring throughout my almost 5 days there. Every nurse and doctor took great care of me and in the delivery of my baby. It was great and felt like I was in good hands the whole time. They did have some renovations going on and our ac was out for a night but fixed the following morning. We completely understood and it wasn’t unbearable just a little uncomfortable.

Love this hospital! I’ve been here several times and the staff has always gone above and beyond. First time I was here was during my pregnancy because I randomly got sixth nerve palsy on my right eye at 37 weeks pregnant. The doctors and nurses that attend me were incredibly nice and answered all my questions. Second time I was here I gave birth to my daughter here and the nurses in Labor and Delivery were so nice and helpful couldn’t have done it without their support. The nurses in postpartum were also very attentive. I will definitely delivery all my babies here. The third time I was here was for my daughter and the nurses (Haley, Ester, & Bailey) in the Pediatric floor were truly amazing! I loved how attentive they were towards my daughter and even myself. The room service and housekeeping were also great. Definitely recommend this hospital to any future momma.

This is my first time being admitted to any hospital. Im currently pregnant and from my OB, all the way down to the house keeping services--I have been nothing short of impressed. Ive unexpectedly spent almost a week here and the customer service, quality of care, food, doctors, floor staff, techs-they have all been amazing. I am grateful you all perform your duties with pride because it reflects in your care. Please keep up the amazing work as it does not go unnoticed. I wish I could do more than just leave a review. Honestly just a great experience overall. Thank you for making the first few days of babys life so easy and pleasant!

I love this hospital but my stay wasn’t very good at all. I’ve worked here and this is my second time giving birth here. First I was tested for Covid and it came back positive. From that moment they started treating me horrible and I just didn’t understand that!! The people in the Mac are rude for the most part. The only people that treated me good was the L& D Staff. I really wish I remember my nurse name to thank her!!! The postpartum team was horrible!! When I arrived to the 4 floor I noticed 2 nurses, in a vacant room across from mine talking amongst themselves and clearly not wanting to deal with any more patients. Then one of the nurses turned out to be mine of course!! From the conversation I over heard I already knew she wasn’t in the mood to deal with me. I didn’t like that she kept reminding us that she could only come in our room 4 times out her whole shift. Because I was Covid positive and that was the rules. If we needed anything we had to tell her at that moment!! With a new baby who can possibly tell you everything they need at that moment. Every meal I order was cold!!! Because I was Covid positive the cafeteria staff had to take my food to the front desk, where my nurse took forever to bring me my food each time!! The next morning I didn’t see the new nurse till almost 10!! I pressed the call button we’re she answered and said she was waiting to change her uniform. Which I didn’t understand because it was already 10 and she had not been by my room at all. She knocked on my door and put my breakfast on the counter and said she would be back. Clearly it took awhile for her to come back. I just no from experience from working at this hospital and actually being a patient that things have changed and they weren’t good!!! I only stayed one day, when my doctor made his rounds and asked if I wanted to leave I said yes!!! I really love this hospital so hopefully they make changes soon!!

Our stay at the hospital was great! Every single member of the team that came to the room was not only extremely helpful but really nice in every way. We felt heard, safe and taken care of the entire time we were there. They also did a wonderful job when helping us with our newborn and were fast at responding every time we asked for help. I will definitely be delivering my second child here.

Can’t say enough good things about this hospital. From the nurses to the cleaning staff, this place is amazing when it comes to taking care of moms and babies. We just had our second child here, our first was born here, and even from the first birth this place has just gotten better. Even the food here is better than you’d expect at an affordable price. Mom and baby are happy/healthy with zero complaints from start to finish.

After delivering our son at the Women’s Hospital, I would definitely recommend them and will return if we have another. The nursing staff in labor and delivery and postpartum went above and beyond. Specifically in L&D, Rachel W and Kristina were fantastic. Great bedside manner and made sure myself and my husband were comfortable. Kendyl was our main postpartum nurse and she was very thorough and knowledgeable with my recovery process but also just a joy to talk to. The suites are top of the line and I highly recommend the investment. The valet was a little hectic, as there was only 1 person working when we were discharged so that was stressful but otherwise our experience was wonderful.

Being that this was my third delivery at the same hospital I was extremely excited to deliver my rainbow baby. I’d had good quality care during my previous stays. Upon arrival, check in was great. My initial nurse was very pleasant, knowledgeable, and got us ready for our scheduled c-section. Deliver and everything/everyone involved was great! It was the postpartum care that was extremely disappointing. The rooms in postpartum are extremely outdated and meed to be renovated. The communication between the AM and PM nurses need to be improved greatly. The staffing of housekeeping services is also a concern. I became sick after my delivery and needed cleaning services in my room. Housekeeping wasn’t available until the following day. I spoke with patient care regarding my concerns and very little changed. I was even given the same nurse that I expressed concerns about the previous day. Needless to say, I’m glad to have closed that chapter of my delivery, but for any future patients, please inquire about the postpartum care, room dynamics, and patient support and this is important for ALL patients.

I had my baby in August. While I was at the hospital I felt well taken care of. All the doctors, nurses, and staff who cared for me were very compassionate. My baby was also cared for well. Briana the first nurse assigned to me really stands out in my memory, probably because she was the first assigned to me. She really helped me while I was going thru labor. (First time mom here.) She even checked on me during her next shift. I also remember Alice, she took care of me during delivery. She always made sure I was clean and comfortable. Like I said earlier all the doctors nurses and staff were amazing, Dr. Song who took care of my delivery was great. I was in a lot of pain and very emotional and she helped me through it. If you decide to deliver at this hospital you will be well cared for.👍🏼

The Womens Hospital is a great experience. I delivered both of my babies there, 10 years apart. Each time I was in great care. Cynthia my nurse during our csection was on top of everything. Then Sydney my after care nurse was amazing as well. I especially like the fact that they provide support through a liaison for other circumstances that may arise during a pregnancy. That lady was Beth C. and I am forever grateful for the job that she does. I would consider her a friend now. I could not have had the experience I did without my incredible doctor Gillespie and my previous doctor McBride, who assisted with this csection also. We are so blessed to have the care we did and will always return in the future.

Great staff! I cannot express how amazing the staff is at this hospital. The facilities are not very accommodating. They are small, outdated and hard to maneuver through when you can barely walk after birth. However, the staff is beyond amazing. Detailed, caring, informative, never missed a beat. I was so well cared for after the birth of my child. They answered every question, every concern, every single little thing I needed! All of the effort of the hospital is definitely placed in their staff, which is the most important thing anyway. The food wasnt great but it was wonderful to have meals during my recovery delivered right to my room. I can honestly say I would recommend this hospital based on my experience with the wonderful staff. I would just be prepared for not that great of food and smaller, outdated facilities but based on what you really need in a hospital (which is the nurses anyway!) I would still recommend to give birth here. I would rather have great, knowledgeable, caring nurses than an upgraded facility with uncaring nurses. The focus is on the patients and staff, which still makes it a great hospital

It took a long time to check in the morning of my surgery; I was told to come in a half hour earlier than was originally scheduled and waited forty minutes or so to check in so Im still trying to figure out why they wanted me in earlier. Staff didnt seem in any particular hurry for me to leave and free up a bed, which right now is a hot commodity in The Medical Center. After my surgery I was told not to get up alone, that they would come and walk me. That didnt happen until after 11pm. The day after surgery they left the urinary catheter in for several hours after my doctor told me they were going to take it out. I finally had to ask them to take it out. I walked myself out rather than wait on them any longer to bring a wheelchair.

I really enjoyed giving birth here! As a first time mom, the staff made sure I was comfortable from the nurses and doctors all the way down to the kitchen staff and house keepers. We were in the hospital for 5 days. The rooms had a pull out couch for dad and provided him with extra pillows and blankets if needed. ALL of my nurses were amazing! My OB was outstanding! I was induced and she tried everything to get me to dialate so I can have a natural birth (something I really wanted). We went in on Sunday and by Tuesday I was still 1 CM. We eventually agreed on caesarean. Everything went by so fast! By the time they pulled dad into the room, my OB was pretty much pulling my baby boy out! I would definitely go back for future pregnancies!

They were EXCELLENT with my baby, too. On top of that, the rooms were very clean and comfortable, the food was very nutritious and great, and the service was wonderful! Then to add on to that when I came in to the emergency they automatically told me they can not keep me for my seizures she looked me in the eyes and told me what do you want us to do just watch you have seizures, she told me my doctor did not order any tests or write for me to get admitted. She belittled my disorder and told me what I am describing is panic attacks when I have been diagnosed already with epilepsy. I told her contact my doctor but she never contacted my doctor they did not do anything for me even after I told her I am having severe seizures while pregnant and that Im not sure if I can even drive home in my condition she just told me once again maam your getting discharged we cannot do anything for you.

My first visit to Texas Women’s wasn’t to my expectations. I’d heard so much about it and how so many women deliver there- but the aesthetics of the building itself are terrible. I can see why they are doing construction but it looks like they should’ve started much longer ago.Trying to get to the material assessment center was a pain! Firstly I found it odd to be required to take a parking ticket just to get onsite. I understand if I were in a parking garage, but just to figure out where you’re going you need a parking ticket: I ended up driving around several times looking for a normal entrance before I just took a ticket and went in. Then once I got in.. the signs are confusing, wasn’t sure which building number I was trying to get to so I asked valet. Due to construction the building I needed was blocked off so I needed to go around. I tried going around but the signs kept leading me back to the same spot. So the valet said to just get out there and walk around.I entered the building and it looked old, cold, and uninviting. I went to the maternal assessment center and they had me on a stretcher. It wasn’t even a real hospital bed. For a pregnant woman - I’d think they’d have something more comfortable. It was hard, you couldn’t adjust it (outside of someone manually coming in to let the back portion up and down.)Then the nurse I had wasn’t personable. She was very direct and just kept asking me questions about why I was there and how I found out about the center, and making me feel stupid for even coming in for my concerns in the first place. She was rough with putting the turnicut on my arm and inserting the needle to draw blood. Then on top of that, she couldn’t get the blood out and someone else had to come do it. The other person was much nicer, more personable, gentler, eased my concerns and was able to draw blood successfully through first time.I just hope and pray my delivery experience isn’t the same… but since this is the first stop when you arrive for delivery - this portion will probably not change much. Very disappointed and wish I was able to tour the hospital in advance (instead of just a virtual tour due to Covid that only showed a couple pictures) so I could’ve chosen somewhere else to deliver.

I had my both kids in this hospital (2019 & 2021). I would have given it a 5 star, had I received the same services as 2 years ago. Eventhough I was still satisfied with them, but I could totally see that they are cutting corners. In 2019, My room was full of postpartum supplies such as pads etc and they sent me home with a ton more without me even asking for it. This time I had to ask for many things during my only one day stay. And I had to wait for many things such as extra pillows (witch I never received), baby security wrist band and breast pump cause they had to wait until another patient was discharged and they could grab the supplies and equipments from their room. Also this time they didnt bother changing the linen even though it was stained and needed to be changed and this is when they Changed linen at least 3 times in my 2019 stay. Back then my baby and I had separate nurses taking care of us but this time we both had one nurse and it worked out well. Both times I was very happy with the qualoty of care I received from the staff. Ive had the best labor and delivery nurse in 2019 and very very good nurses throughout my both stays. Overall, I would still choose and recomend this hospital

My husband and I were treated very well. Our concerns were heard and things were explained throughout our delivery and post partum care. Every nurse and doctor had a positive attitide and you could tell they love what they do.

Everyone was so caring of me except the first young nurse they assigned to me. She didn’t even write her name on the white bored. I mean she didn’t write anything. She gave me a strong medication when I clearly asked her not to give me anything that would make me drowsy because i wanted to be able to walk around. I immediately expressed my concerns about that nurse and they removed her from me and added a different nurse. What a world of a difference. From that point everything was smooth sailing. Just because I had a bad a experience with my first nurse doesn’t mean I’m going to give this hospital a low rating. I recommend this hospital.

Just delivered my baby boy here! I was treated with respect, genuine emotions and overall a positive experience at Women’s Health. I had to be admitted due to my baby’s heart rate being inconsistent. My nurse (Betty) tried everything possible to get me dilated so that I could have the natural delivery I wanted. My baby wasn’t responding well to the medicine, his cord was wrapped a couple times, and he turned in my womb(breech). I had to get a c-section instead of a natural delivery. My c-section went very well and all of the nurses treated me very well. My nurse after the surgery was Ms. Flo and she was the absolute best. She made sure that she was informative and responsive at all times. I had other great nurses but I remember Ms. Flo in particular. Ms Judy was great in regards to room service and Demecka with housekeeping. My overall experience was great! Yes, you will change rooms, the rooms are a little outdated, and there is construction but it didn’t stop the experience I had.

Had an AMAZING experience with labor and delivery here! All of my nurses were attentive, compassionate and kind! Cannot pinpoint one single thing I would change about this hospital, everything is run so smoothly and I always felt like I was a priority and was handled in a timely manner! Quality of care is unmatched IMO. Special shout-out to the amazing nurses that I can remember; Naomi, Haley, and Jessica!! They made my experience so special and enjoyable!

I delivered my son last week at The Woman’s Hospital, and I received nothing but the best care from my doctor and the nurses. Dr. Shelley Leeds-Richter is the gold standard of OBGYNs. She drove straight from the airport to perform my c-section and made sure that I was always informed and calm, while providing both myself and my son with the best care. Our nurses were all amazing, and I wish I remembered more of their names- off the top of my head, Ebony, Cinnamon, and Michelle were all wonderful, but there were several others, including the sweet nurse in the Maternal Assessment Center, who were also so attentive and kind.

I have used Solis Mammography for a number of years. I have always had excellent care and a positive experience. This time was not as positive, but the director contacted me directly and listened to me and my concerns! I returned and received the same quality care I have always had at this location!

Service at Its Best! The staff at the Womens Hospital really focuses on service. From the time you begin your pre-registration to the time that someone helps you to your car to leave, you will feel valued. I had surgery with an over night stay and everyone we came into contact with was caring.

Amazing Hospital, I was a patient of technical another hospital that had over 10 hr waits so it was a breath of fresh air to see the wait time only being 10 mins. Unfortunately I had a miscarriage, but the staff was supportive from start to finish reminding me to be positive and not discouraged at any time, I honestly believe the hospital has to devote all its resources towards its staff because from walk in to walk out i was taken care off even valet , my only grievance was the condition of the hospital, but the staff was so great i would over look that anytime

Almost everyone at the Womans Hospital was fantastic. They were caring and knowledgeable and always willing to lend a hand during labor and after. However, one nurse in the Postpartum section of our stay was awful. She was unhelpful, passive aggressive, and neglectful. We really loved almost everything about our stay except for our experience with this nurse; we even decided to go home after 24 hours instead of stay the full 48 because of how she made my husband and I feel.

Absolutely terrible. My husband had to wheel me in because I couldnt walk due to labor pains and they could care less about how much pain I was in. We were sent 4 different locations until we got to the right place we needed to start the process. I had 2 different people make me fill out my information on a chart, which I had already done online. They made us go to the ER before going up to L&D, which my doctor had already called letting them know I needed a room and was on my way. When asking why I was bein send to the ER, the nurse in the ER then proceeded to talk negatively about my OB and how she doesnt like to follow their hospitals rules. This place is more about protocol than patient care. My husband couldnt stand how rude they were, so we told them we were leaving and I went onto a different hospital to give birth. I would never recommend this hospital to anyone. I will never go to a facility that is run by HCA heathcare.

Wow what can I say! My ER nurses took amazing care of me, Catherine and Rizza showed so much compassion towards me and made me feel comfortable with Covid my husband has not been able to be with me during my hospital visit. When I Got admitted I felt so alone, but then I met Nurse Jaimy and Cheri. These ladies have played a huge roll in my care and making me feel like I mattered and what I went though a little less painful. We laughed together and they cared for my well-being. I will forever remember them and I’m so thankful for each one of them! Thank you so much! Last but not least Miss Lena my ultrasound tech! She was God sent! The ultrasound was the hardest for me and she made me feel so comfortable and talked me though the entire process! Thank you ladies! Made my situation a little less painful!

The head Nurse, Zach, was wonderful. Laura however helped me before Zach came back from lunch, and I still have deep bruising on both my forearms from her attempting to insert my IV. When it wasn’t working, she fished around with the needle in my veins to try and reinsert. It was so painful and so deep. It honestly scarred me for future visits and now I’m ill have a deep fear of IVS. Zach however came in and got it in the first try with no pain and no bruising after it was taken out.
