Purchased the full body laser hair removal package. I was not that hair to begin with. I always went on time- never missed a session. The first few sessions you could see improvement however it LARGLY depended on the technician that you got. Some did a great job- others were a waste of your session. You cant make requests and they are not good at doing reminder calls. Clean facility however I would purchase something cheaper with more sessions on Groupon.

Before booking a laser session I was told I had to buy a package which isn’t the issue . Before purchasing I asked a very important question if they had a laser for African American skin because one laser doesn’t work for all skin pigments they lady on the phone said yes so I proceed to buy and go to my appointment. When I went to the back to have my session the person doing my laser was so soft spoken and timid . She didn’t exude the confidence who’s done this for a fair amount of time .I explained this isn’t my first laser session as I just moved from out of state so moved so slowly and hesitant and when done said I would notice the results in two weeks it’s been over a month I’ve called and explained to the manager ( or who I was told was the manager ) my results are not nonexistent and now what was done by my prior laser technician is being reversed .it’s wasn’t any urgency from the person on the phone to investigate or ease my concerns I don’t recommend this place if you are African American they are not knowledgeable about our skin.

Renova is honestly one of the most accommodating laser clinics that I have gone to in Houston area, the service is always impeccable and the ladies are very friendly. Only thing you should take in to consideration is if you need a Saturday appointment you usually need to book in advance but other then that they are great. And my hair is almost 70% gone and Im on treatment 4.

I’m sad to say that I will never be going back or spending another dime at this facility due to their lack of follow up pertaining to my concern and reaction to underarm laser treatment. After my fifth laser treatment I developed numerous dark raisin sized spots under both armpits and they refused to give me the name of the technician who treated me. I called several times constantly kept getting dodged by front desk saying manager is busy or just left and have even emailed the manager and the owner twice about a refund for remaining sessions over several weeks and no one follows up. The training of their techs is questionable after I spoke to several friends who go to Laser Away the techs there actually blow cold air simultaneously while treating your areas w laser and not one of my sessions anywhere had that done. What’s most disappointing is that they truly don’t care about your experience. They just want your money. Like I said I’ve called, I’ve emailed over weeks and am constantly dodged and no response. What is that??Please, go somewhere else I’ve heard great things about Laser Away! :) that’s where I’ll be going ! Look them up on Yelp to see the photos of the spots that appeared after laser treatment of my underarms . Eeeek at your own risk!I understand that things happen, what’s disappointing is that they never followed up with my emails regarding my refund and never told me the name of the girl who treated me. This would be very different if their was full, professional and thorough follow up. All they did was refer me out to a physician but regarding my refund and to follow up with me and return my calls and emails..... nothing. So, that speaks volumes. Take your chance.They don’t care.

My very first laser hair removal session and quite frankly, did not go as I expected. I won’t name the Technician but to start off, she never even greeted me or made any type of conversation. Being a first timer, you would think they’d try to make you feel comfortable about the process. Nope, she was quiet throughout the whole session. Then at the end of the session, she tells me I should have shaved and to make sure I shave the next time (I was told they were going to trim the area for me upon arrival, but apparently there was no communication between the front desk and techs). So then why would you even proceed with the treatment if you noticed I had not shaved the area? Why wait until the end to tell me that? So did I just waste a session? Was it not effective since I didn’t shave? I don’t know, first impressions are very important to me and this initial visit kind of threw me off so we’ll see how it goes. Front desk ladies were very welcoming but there should’ve been more communication between them and their technicians

Do not go here for laser services or get tricked into their promotions. When I started my laser sessions the first few technicians I had didn’t tell me how to come prepared for the sessions. It was only half way into it when another technician in another location told me the proper way to come ready for a laser appointment. I saw no progress and a lot of money was wasted. Also, I was forced to move due to Covid and the office is not working with me to receive a refund. They are not understanding and aren’t even willing to work with me, total loss of $1,000. I’ve been trying for months now, every time I call the office the manager is never available and I’ve been told she will give me a call back, however she doesn’t.I wouldn’t recommend going here, the technicians do not give you the proper information for results and if you end up having a matter with the office, don’t expect them to be willing to work with you or even get on a phone call with you. Worst service experience I’ve ever had.
