This is a great gym for the cost. Because of the location a good time to go and use the most popular machines is really early in the morning or at least 2 hours before closing. Otherwise the place is packed. But the staff is great, I attended this gym religiously and I loved it. Only doing 4 stars because I wish the had more squat racks/Smith machines in the womens center for us shy ones. But other wise no complaints.

I am not paying 50 dollars annually while going thru covid and having to work to pay off a balance! 24 hour fitness waived my fee for three months’.I’ll stick with them!!I’ll be canceling in person

The facility workout areas are clean and machines are regularly serviced and repaired quickly, my wife likes the womens only section. Bathrooms cleaned regularly too, with disinfectants, soap, and paper towels replaced quickly. Staff is friendly, and Ive never heard complaints about the kids zone that parents can use so that they can workout while the kids are engaged elsewhere. The only reason they lose a star is because Ive been harassed by panhandlers in the lot a couple of times, and I regularly see broken windshield fragments in the lot area so some people should be weary if they feel like they could easily be a victim or taken advantage of in the lot since it fills up fast at peak hours.

A sales lady at the Bissonet&Gessner club (Brittany), is a great sales person and a great judge of character. Brittany had given me a tour and allowed me to use the gym two different times and told me that I was welcome to come back at 5:00am and to use the gym once again. I went back and was told by a young boy(front desk) that I was not allowed to use the gym until I signed up. I called the gym manager phone number and spoke to him only to get abused. Now I decided to go to Planet fitness instead. It is sad when managers abuse potential customers!

I do not recommend this gym whatsoever. There are little to no plates other than 45 lbs, making progressive lifting impossible. And have fun trying to find a dumbbell, as they could be anywhere around the gym as the staff never seems to clean up. I chose this gym solely due to its cheap price, and I received far less than what I paid for. I will be terminating my membership immediately.

Majority of the free weights are missing. People hide the lighter free weights. People sit on the bench press benches and use their phones instead of working out. Majority of the people that work out here are inconsiderate.

Fitness connection is a scam. There is no $10 dollar deal. You pay $10 dollars down, pay $10 a month, but on your second month youll get charged with a $55 annual fee. Sounds like $65 down to me.Lack of organization and variety of weights, missing attachments for cables, small basketball courts.... fitness connection is a dying business and I would get out before any more grabs for extra cash happen.

Awesome! I joined spin class with Aja (Tuesdays @630pm) and it was incredibly fun and worked me out! The staff was friendly the facility was nice and clean. I look fwd to going back regularly.

Fitness Connection is all great place to work out I have been going here for years. The place is well kept and the equipment is top notch. Had made made major gains and progress all on my own at Fitness Connection. Low price to sign up low price for your monthly payments. Recommended for anyone who are trying to achieve there fitness goals.

Be careful, they won’t pay you back even tho you quit in 3 days of free trial. I quit in 2 days then they told me the money will be back in 2-3days. But my money hadn’t been coming back for 2 week so I went there to talk about it. First, they told me looks like money already back. then I said I had every proof of that you guys didn’t not pay me back. Then, manager came out to talk to me.we talked about it then he admitted they haven’t tried to pay me back. I was so mad but I understand that. I just said “Just pay me back pls” Then he said “ Okay, I did. It’s gonna be back in 2-3 days.” But you know what’s happening after that? It’s been 2 weeks already since we talked, but my money has not charged back yet. I think this is absolutely illegal. I’ll make it bigger problem.

Horrible experience, soooo many hidden fees they keep charging my card even though I ended my membership with them months ago. Literal scammers. The customer service line always has a long hold and representatives are very rude. Please stay away from this gym. I go to 24 hour fitness now and I am so much happier.

I would never recommend this gym to anyone . They constantly double charge you . They literally run my card every 3-5 days. I canceled my membership because I got tired of locking my card to keep them from running it. I called their customer service and they said it appears you’re paying for 2 memberships. ( this is not true). I’m the only one signed up on my account. I just keep getting double charged/ overcharged.Not once did she offer to refund my money back. Within the last week they’ve charged my card 3 times . I’m making any and all complaints I can against them . This is not a proper and honest ran business . I will never return .I have other things to worry about vs a scamming gym charging my card 3x per week .

Okay, only that the machines are broken, they take a long time to fix, one has to buy rope because there isnt. There is a machine to make doors, it is broken and they have not fixed it for almost a month.

Recently made a change to my account [added my son] they charge me to add my son the day it was processed and even though I have my card registered for monthly payments when I showed up to the gym yesterday they want to ask me for a payment because I have a balance due Not sure if the person that assisted me didnt submit the full payment that he took from me or he doesnt know what hes doing Now Im being put on hold for who knows how long just because someone didnt do what they were supposed to do, Ridiculous!

Started 3 days ago but i really wish the sauna could be open it help with muscles pain and relaxing the muscles after workout... i hate having sore in my body ughhh i need the sauna back 😩

Still cant believe this gym s only $10 a month. Even though they have a few things closed due to the pandemic, its still offers a lot. That movie room where i can do cardio is awesome! Staff is friendly and i always see them walking around keeping everyone on check about their masks. Love it!

I like this gym. I have been going there for some time now and I like working out in the womens room but there isnt much equipments there it would be awesome if a little be more equipments and weights could be added there. And also the sauna doesnt work which is a little bit upsetting but all in all I like the gym.

Nice gym. I liked that the equipment is kept up and clean. Adheres to Covid safety rules and everyone was wearing a mask. Elliot was extremely knowledgeable and gave me a great tour.

Nice clean gym, modern look, equipment. Tons of machines. Very clean restrooms. Onlyproblem was that the changing rooms and showers were closed because of Covid. I had to subtract a star for that, even though thats not their fault, because, my plan was to shower then go to work

I used to go to that location...great equipment...but the problem...to me personally I didnt like the kind of people who goes there some times,not all of them obviously but being in Sharpstown area...Pura Raza......wich is pathetic to me some times...I would say......ghetto some times...and that...doesnt go with me.Thats why......I go to Sugarland.Again...the gym by itself is great...is the flea market enviroment I didnt like.

I have been going here for about 5 years now since I was in high school. This is THE BEST GYM. I recently had 3 gym memberships (this one, 24 hour fitness, and powerhouse gym) and out of all of them, FITNESS CONNECTION is still my favorite. All the staff is nice and all the instructors and people are nice. The only thing I hate is how crowded it gets at night but besides that I love it. Everyone up there knows me cause I’ve been coming for so long. I recommend this gym 100% because it’s DEFINITELY WORTH it for $10 a month!!!!

Great gym! Always clean. The spin instructors are all amazing. The staff is friendly and they are always working hard to meet their clients needs. All of the workout classes I have tried have been led by great instructors. Ive never checked into a gym so many times until I became a member here.

I used to like going to this gym but not anymore. They need to improve some things like more wiping/cleaning on their equipment like they do in the other one on Westheimer because its alot cleaner & more professional. I hate it when the staff in this location be calling out names and yelling while on the speaker when they are about to close, seems so unprofessional!

Really good place to motivate your self with movies is clean and a lot of equipment I like the gym...

So I work in San Antonio three days a week I left my stuff at work like wallet and my key card so I ask them can I get a pass for 3 days until I get my stuff back they said no . I gave them my info I had my dl everything but they said no they want to charge me 10 $

I enjoy everything the Bissonnet location as to offer. Low cost, kids club included and an amazing basketball court. It does get busy and for good reason this deal is amazing here. KidsClub staff do an amazing job

Por customer service , wanted to go as a guest with my son who is there since 5 years the rude guy gave us multiple reasons and made us to leave I had plan to get membership after go as guest but now not recommended for all you readers and my son cancelled his membership after 5 years.

Members seem to lack the knowledge that you cannot record and take pictures. Staff are aware of this ongoing issue and are reluctant to enforce the policy. My unpleasant experience with a member and subsequently not good at all; a member of the staff last night.Needless to say as I approached the counter, the members are friends with the staff. I definitely will not utilize this gym again. First trying it out and it was my last.

Im glad that they clarified that you dont have to wear a facial mask while working out cuz I was dying in their womens gym. Other than that, the locker rooms, equipment, and the gym as a whole seems decent. The staff seems to stay out of your way and dont bother you much with pleasantries or hellos. They just let you walk in and do your thing on your own. I respect their seemingly aloof attitude towards their members. Makes me feel not only socially distant, but emotionally distant as well. I couldnt ask a question without giving stars. Since i havent been as of yet i gave them 3 stars...my question is are they open? I would love to sign up for a membership. I am currently with 24 hour fitness but they dont stay open 24 hours like before.

I absolutely love this gym! I initially called to set up an appointment and had the pleasure of meeting Miguel. He was very welcoming and gave me a great tour of the gym, showed me all of the great amenities and I signed up that week. Ladies the classes are phenomenal and you just cant beat the price ANYWHERE IN TOWN!

My favorite gym....clean and they have sanitizing stations all over. The basketball courts are closed due to Covid-19 but thats okay cause as soon as they open back up Im going to be Michael Jordan in there lol.

This is probably the best Fitness Connection I’ve been too in all of my travels. The club is always clean, busy and there is always someone on staff who can help out the customer. I have exactly 30 min to workout everyday. I came to do my daily spinning before work and they told me I was not allowed to use the bikes even though 20+ bikes were sitting there without being used as well as the spinning room. Very unprofessional. Would not recommend. Manager was very rude when I asked if I could just use one before the class started.

Awesome facility! Miguel Ochoa assisted me with a membership. Was very fast & knowledgeable. Overall all staff is nice, and the place is very clean. Great location to work out!

This is a nice gym they just remolded the sauna in the mens locker room. It gets busy like around 4pm. Once they only had the young Hispanic guy working the front desk so we had to wait to get checked in. The weight area is always busy at this location. Overall its a good gym they have a movie theater here as well.

I enjoy the classes. Especially, body pump and cycling. Erin is the best instructor I ever had

Everyone from the front desk, sales team and the kids club are exceptionally great! I have never had any issues at this gym, everyone is very helpful. This gym is so much better from my last one, making the change was very easy.

This is my first visit here, dont know if the hurricane Harvey affect it or not, the front desk is a bit chaotic when I entered. Parking lot was super full have to circle around for a parking. The facility is pretty big with a lot of different equipment, and they seem pretty new, but there are too many people in women zone area that you have to wait for certain machine.They have couple of big TVs in the women zone, basic machines are there for you to work your full body if you need heavy lift probably have to go to the general area.Even the place is pretty crowded, they are not too noisy, which is nice. They are running a special to compensate for Harvey, pretty good deal, and they are not too far from where I live, but I am not sure if I come back to sign up for a membership.

My favorite gym by far. Is very clean, friendly staff, and the trainers (whom youre supposed to pay for) are always willing to give advice if you ask. If you want to be left alone, no one will bother you. If you want to be friendly, you will meet friendly petite to share a few laughs with. And they have most everything you for all for in a gym.

Ive been to four different locations and this one is my favorite! They have so many machines available and the staff is so friendly. The restrooms are always clean and I go 5 times a week and always find the janitor cleaning the windows/glass.

Great gym so far. It has everything you could ever need. Machines Free weights, plenty of cardio options. Even at peak hours you could still get a workout in. Highly impressed.

I really don’t like this gym it appears like the classes only cater to the Spanish culture accept for Erin spin class. If this is suppose to be a diverse gym and more people than just Spanish people attend why do every class have to cater to them. It’s not fair 24 hour fitness is very diverse and I enjoy that gym more

Amazing gym to workout its very spacious and you can workout comfortably. The staff is also super friendly, however my only complain is that it closes wayy too early at 8 o clock on weekends and 10 on fridays this is not always convenient for a lot of people since they get off work late it would be the perfect gym if they could be open 24 hours like other gyms. Please make this happen fitness connection!!!

The price bumps the rating up. The locker room seems to be laid out odd or awkward to the flow of the people coming and going. And the music sounds like what you hear in an office opposed to a gym.

Honestly, when I first signed up back in 2017, I was very happy with this gym! After two years being with this business, this location has gotten very but very over packed. I struggle with parking all the time, all the machines are taken. Sometimes I wait up to 20 minutes to be able to use one, since every person is using it. Dont know if the location is small or dont have enough machines.. I just dont like this location at all anymore! Ended up getting a membership with LA FITNESS instead. I was always tired of coming and having to deal with the same thing every time I come here! Sorry Fitness Connection! Really disappointing!

BE AWARE DO NOT SIGN ANYTHING THIS PLACE IS A SCAM I’ve been in this gym for a little over a year and everything the first few months seemed fine but recently somehow within the last 7 months they’ve managed to charge me $10 OVER 3 TIMES FOR ONE MONTH and their yearly fees which are supposedly yearly of $43 that have come up on my account 4 TIMES for no apparent reason when it should of only charged me once. AND WHEN I CALL they apologize and tell me it was a mistake in the machine and it will be solved soon but never end up getting my money back. THIS COMPANY IS UP TO SOMETHING AND THATS OVERCHARGING PEOPLE!

***BEWARE*** We are relocating out of state where there is not a gym near by. It has been a week of emailing back and forth trying the cancel my membership due to NO club within a 50 mile radius of my new home address. They are claiming that I would have to buy out the contact in order to cancel. So they suck you in and act like money hungry people when you try to leave the gym. This company is a joke and have very poor business practice. I would NEVER EVER recommend this Company to anyone. The front desk staff is a JOKE. They need to start from the beginning and replace the teenagers working at the front. They expect you to pay for a service that you are not using. The District so called Manager Zack is no help either. I will be putting in a Complaint with the BBB and all the other review companies in the upcoming days. BEWARE DO NOT SIGN UP WITH THE THIS COMPANY. Go to another gym that wants to give you great service.

Worst experience ever. They charged me for few months extra. I moved to North Carolina and I told them for like 10 times to transfer my membership to NC but they never did. They didn’t let me inform anything I faced trouble going in the facility in NC so many times. Both the locations talked several times for my transfer of membership but They didn’t tell me anything. Now the bissonet facility is open and they charged me for this month but the facility is NC is still closed due to pandemic. I never got any emails from bissonet location. They didn’t inform me about the opening. I thought I was a member of NC location which is closed and they won’t charge me as per the company policy. I had to wait 2-3 hours everyday over the phone just to talk to somebody. The guy hung up on me and canceled my membership without my permission. I just wanted my refund though. This whole thing is just worst. Poor customer service. Period.

Very good gym and equipment, only thing you gotta know is if you cancel you have to go online to their website and fill out a cancellation form, and it takes 30 days to cancel so you still gotta pay one more month. Also be careful and dont leave belongings in vehicles, someone broke into my friends car a couple days ago.

What I enjoyed about the facility is the environment and the staff. Most of all the services that are provided for all members for free, there is a little bit of everything for everyone. The classes are fun, the people there are friendly. The gym is kept clean and maintained most of the time, to be honest this is the most clean gym I have seen so far. The one thing that everyone can agree on about this gym is that its affordable, you cant beat the monthly prices and not to mention its a non-contract.

It was cool needs more sanitation stations besides that great gym.

1/15/2019 at approximately 06:49pm called this gym just to find out about the hours and fees but unfortunately after a long hold the customer representative answer and was talking to some one at the same time and i barely have to ask my questions two or three time before he understand and finally was told he cant discuss on the phone and i have to go see it in person tomorrow as they have 60% off tomorrow and will tell me about the hours and monthly/yearly fees.Highly need mgmt attention on that part if you guys want to earn business.

I got signed up with the GM and he was very helpful and explained fitness to me since Ive never exercised in my life. So far one of the best gyms out there. Ive been coming to this gym for a few months now. I enjoy talking to staff in the front desk there very friendly. My daughter loves the kids club so do i since its free.

I love this gym l. I love the ambience. Theres music playing which keeps you motivated. Its a clean facility.People are not too close together even on a crowed day. There is a Steam Room.There is plenty of Equipment to choose from. Its not expensive

The facility is nice, but Fitness Connection has poor billing policies. They charge you a high “annual fee” that doesn’t occur after you’ve been there a year. They charge this “annual fee” on their own just because it’s April. Then their cancellation policy is a joke. It takes 30 days to cancel your membership, plus you’ll still have to pay for an additional month after you cancel it. Fitness Connection should consider adjusting these foolish policies (but they won’t cause they just want your money).

It’s actually very nice and Maria Medina who is the one who helped me was very nice and helpful. The machines work nicely and i have a lost a lot of weight ever since I got a membership here.

The gym itself is great and the prices are reasonable.However, the location is a no no and you are literally taking a risk by working out there. Security is weak and nothing is done if your car is broken into which happens on a frequent basis. My car is not even fancy nor did I have any valuables. The neighborhood is just seedy with suspicious people lurking around.This is the reason I decided to leave and will never look back.Please do not allow low prices to have an impact on your safety.

I work here..the environment is different from other locations yet you realize it is still a great gym over all.

Its a pretty nice gym. People need to be on automatic payments though to avoid extra charges and if you cant afford to be on automatic payments for 10$ a month, then you might want to reconsider getting a gym membership. Parks are free.
