I’ve known Neha since elementary school and have had a close relationship ever since. But as a doctor myself, I’m the worst patient. And despite having abdominal pain, weight loss, and loose stools, I refused to seek treatment until it became unbearable. Dr. Mathur was awesome. She was familiar with my rare genetic diagnosis and very clear in her recommend plan of action. Dr.Mathur is very knowledgeable, compassionate , and genuinely concerned about you as a patient.I have been sick for years and seeing 2 other GI doctors none of which cared enough or were smart enough to figure out what was wrong with me. Dr Mathur assessed me and decide to do biopsies of my esophagus and colon also blood work. She was able to diagnose a rare autoimmune disease none of the other doctors even thought about.She called my Neurologists because I also have Myasthenia Gravis and also my Dermatologists to develop a treatment plan. She is an excellent doctor very thorough. She spoke to pathology as well.If what you have is complex I suggest her and the Methodist GI lab who were outstanding. If routine I suggest her you’ll never know you were scoped.
