Terrible experience. My son has been trying to get his medication filled for a week!! I called upset on Friday (rightfully so) and was told the doctor would get to it. What kind of doctors office operates this way!? Notice they don’t respond to any of their reviews bc they don’t care…officially done with this place.

Dr. Tucker has been my physician for many years. She is absolutely THE BEST! She is PATIENT, caring and thorough. So easy to talk to- I feel like Im talking to a friend and always get an accurate diagnosis. Great follow up. Her nurse, Julie, is very special, too! Very little wait times. Cant say enough good things about this doctor!

I came 10 minutes before my first appointment and the front lady told me to wait. After 25 minutes of waiting the reception told me that I was late to my appointment and that I need to reschedule 🤦‍♂️Even I mentioned I was here 25 minutes seating and waiting which everyone was aware she says I still need to reschedule because the Dr cant see me now...Thank you guys for first amazing experience!!

With the exception of a few caring people (who should move to a better practice) this office is awful. RN and Doctors had to be told they were doing a bad job just to receive basic standards of communication between a physician and patient/family. They have repeatedly made my mother feel small and unheard. After calling in and looking for answers in a calm but frustrated manor I can say first hand that this practice clearly has an issue with caring for their patients. It took serious work to get phone calls back and even then the RN on the other line would emote a feeling of frustration for having to communicate with me. This facility gives off a cold - uncaring and unprofessional vibe. I have removed my mom from this practice and moved her elsewhere after she has repeatedly gone in with undiagnosed or misdiagnosed issues and not a single physician has ever stood up and been an advocate for her. They do the bare minimum and have an attitude about it. This review is based on over 1.5 years of experiences not just one interaction. Multiple specialists have communicated to my mother confusion regarding the choices of this practice. I can safely say this was not a fluke, it is a systemic issue with a lack of emphasis on bedside manner/communication. Do not send a family member here - they are not in good hands.

Ive visited this practice several times over a few years. Lubna and Bailey are the nurse and PA Ive visited. Bailey is wonderful and is caring. Lubna has made me feel rushed each time, doesnt let me finish asking my questions, answers my questions as though I am inept and dismissed me this morning with bye and ran out the door before I can stop her. Its very frustrating. She spent an entire 5 minutes with me, rushed through the motions, tells me what to do and leaves. This practice also charges a $3 admin fee per visit. Its to cover supplies? Youll have to ask them and verify why your insurance payment isnt enough and they need to charge an admin fee. I havent seen this at any other practices, but I could be wrong and this is normal. I wont be returning to this family practice.

Dr. Jackson was incredibly easy-going and wrapped things up with me quickly. Nurse Cynthia, who took my vitals and drew my blood, was incredibly friendly and expedient with the whole process. I have not ever had a better experience getting lab work done. This office has Covid symptom screening outside the main waiting room which is comforting. The staff there, at the waiting room, and in the billing/processing area were all cordial with me. No problems processing my insurance quickly here, and their online portal is straightforward. I received prompt updates on my tests both by the online portal and by phone call.

I have been coming here for years and love all of the doctors and nurses. They are so kind and caring and always answer all of my questions. I called to ask about some records I need to get and the Admin staff was extremely rude. They did not clearly answer my questions and rushed to get off of the phone.

Not very easy to get an appointment in a timely manner, have experienced some unfriendly staff as others said, have had pleasant encounters as well. Ive been seeing Dr. Tucker for 4+ years, not frequently but 1-3 times per year, as needed. Currently looking for another PCP due to how hard it is to get a decent appointment. Usually a long wait time to see the actual doctor once you arrive for your appointment.

I have been a patient with Dr. Laurel Tucker for years. For the longest time I had no issues with her care.Last year my husband and I came down with the flu. When I called the office to see the doctor, they said they could see us next week.HELLO, we have the flu, I dont think this can wait. After arguing with the receptionist, who was very unprofessional and rude, I told them I would come to the office and sit in the waiting room until they could see me. Both my husband and I were very sick. At that point, they told me they could see us that afternoon. Also, I have been on a medication for multiple years, and need refills on a regular basis. I used to have yearly physicals, and my prescriptions would get refilled, no problem.During this COVID-19 pandemic, Dr. Tucker would not refill my prescription, and wanted me to come into the office. When I refused to do this, because of COVID-19, she told me I could do a virtual appointment. WHY????After all that, she decided to refill my prescription.Onto my next refill, same story. On October 29th, I requested to make an appointment for my annual checkup. They told me they could see me in January of 2021. SERIOUSLY!!!!At that point I requested to see another doctor. A friend highly recommended Dr. Anthony Popek, who is a member of the Town & Country Family Physicians group. They told me this was not possible. Why can I not choose another doctor when the doctor that is supposed to take care of me is not available.I still want to see Dr. Popek, but they are not letting me. In what world is this fair.Dr. Tucker, if you cant be a caring doctor, at least have the decency to let me see one that does care, and makes appointments in an acceptable time frame. I am so disappointed in you, I thought you were better than that. Shame on you.

I see a number of negative reviews about the admin staff here, and I understand why. My wife has been a client of this office for years now, and we have had a number of rude and remarkably inconvenient interactions with their staff. In a nutshell, if its not convenient for the person youre talking to, its not happening. This week, their machine was down for transmitting prescriptions electronically. My wife is required to take a certain prescription daily, and so because they could not transmit it electronically and shes only off on Fridays, they required her to come in and pick up a paper copy today so she doesnt run out mid-week next week. Their office is >30 min away from our house. She called it in well in advance and requested to pick it up Friday if their machine was not yet back up. They hadnt called her to say it was ready by Friday lunchtime (did I mention yet they take until 1:30p for lunch?!) - so she knew shed have to deal with Friday afternoon traffic coming back from the West side of town. She happened to be out toward the West side a little after lunch, so decided she would stop by at 1:30p when they return from lunch (or even wait till they got back, because theyve gotten back significantly later than 1:30p before) and wait for them to write the Rx. When they returned from lunch, she asked the front desk very nicely if she could wait there until they could write the Rx, because she was in the area. The front desk WOULD NOT LET HER WAIT!!! They told her the doctors wrote Rx between seeing patients and she needed to leave, and they would call her. It comes as no shock that they dont write them while theyre seeing another patient ... but she politely had asked just to wait in the waiting room until they were in-between patients and had a chance to write it, so she could pick it up and not have to make an additional 1+ hour round trip plus hit 5:00 traffic. They did not let her wait, just kept saying theyd call her when it was ready. Shes now on the way home, and Im appalled. I told her I would have waited until it was ready, in view of the receptionist, and asked about it every 15 minutes or so ... so in lieu of that, Im writing this review.I have only detailed out one bad experience, but its not the only one weve had. And members of the medical staff here have been helpful, so theres that. I personally believe the quality of admin staff a doctors office has can greatly amplify or detract from the quality of my experience overall at the office. Cannot rate this whole office more than one star because of repeated unsatisfactory customer experiences with the admin staff.

The people who answers the phone needs to be retained on how to talk to their patients in a professional manner. Every time I call, the person Ive spoken with have been very rude, unprofessional and impatient. They do not try to solve the issue the patient is encountering. Management needs to retrain them on how to be polite and serve their patient in a professional manner. Or, maybe, the management is the one that needs training.

I am alarmed that they do not follow up with patients. I am 74 was extremely low on Vitamin D and Calcium. They prescribed a months worth of both...strong dosage am sure. What gets me is...they never followed up with me, never called, never wanted to see me again. Also never received anything on getting a flu shot. Every time I go in, I see the PA and not Dr. Tucker. Guess when you have Texan Plus, they dont want to fool with you! Thing is...I could afford better care! I need to shop around for better care for sure! I think Memorial Care that I left is better!

Dr. Popek has been my physician for the last 10 years. My brother has been a patient for 20 years. I love my Doctor as he treats me with respect and has taken good care of me in my 50s and 60s. The lab there...Lab Corp...has drawn blood for my lab tests for the last 10 years as well with no problems except for this last time....I was asked for my credit card the last time I had my blood drawn. After 10 yrs. of going to this lab, no one ever asked me for my credit card. I was upset that no prior notice was given and this lab where the blood was taken was not a business office. I expressed my concern and said I was not happy about it. But I gave my credit card because I was afraid they would not draw my blood after fasting all day. When I left, the techs complained about me to the Office Administrator and she decided to dismiss me from the Physician and Town and Country Physicians where I have been going for the last 10 years. No one called me to ask me what happened. I was just told I could not come back. It took me an entire day to find out what happened. But I was still not told the nature of the complaint. I neither yelled or threatened anyone. I submitted card because I had fasted all day to ensure my tests came out correctly. These techs have taken my blood for years, but somehow they did not recognize me. I did challenge them on their request because they said the rule had changed last fall in 2018. However, I had been there since then, in Feb of 2019 and they did not require my credit card. Is this a reason to remove me from my doctor of 10 years? So now, Ive been kicked out of my Doctors office and these two techs have my credit card number on a piece of paper floating around who knows where! This has caused so much damage to me, my psychological well being. Now I feel threatened that anyone can change my life with one complaint and uproot the plan for my health management. Let me just say, If I dont hear from someone at Labcorp soon, they will be hearing from me in a legal capacity. The office administrator at Town and Country Physicians has uprooted my life on the word of a couple of lab techs that were not happy being challenged. Without a word to anyone she ended my relationship with my doctor. I just cant let this go without a word or mention. Mari Moreno you should have called me to get both sides of the complaint.

I have been a patient of Dr. Tucker for many years and have full confidence in her knowledge and ability as my doctor. My son is a patient of Dr. Popek and my daughter is a patient of Dr. Nguyen. All of these doctors are caring and take the time to listen to you. They not only treat your ailments, they also are concerned for your overall health and well being. I have recommended this practice in the past and will continue to do so.

Doctors are great, the staff could be better. Overall, still my go-to place. Dr. Popek is the doctor you want. No nonsense, no frills, no bs, a straight up guy (and a stand up one at that too). I come in with a problem, I leave with a solution. 99% feel better within the week. Been seeing him since I got down here (8 years now). Sometimes, can get busy, but still, I wait to see my Doc. Not another doctor I trust more.

Ive never asked them specialty questions and have gone for general checkups. I have never spent more than my co-pay and Dr. Turner is a wonderful doctor! He spent the time to listen to my issues and was always accommodating. I no longer live in Houston, TX so I will be going to a new PCP however, I will always have him in mind when visiting Houston. I definitely recommend him!

The receptionists are always rude and look miserable. Even on the phone to make appointments they are rude and short. No one actually appears to be in a good mood at this office. If you want somewhere that makes you feel like a burden for coming in than this is the place for you. If you want a place thats nice, friendly, caring, has compassion for their patients/clients than this is definitely not the place to go.

Im not impressed by their service. Ive been with them for some time but was never impressed. They ask you to do lots of tests, x-rays and blood work, but then you get absolutely no feedback from them unless you call a couple of times to get it. The only time they call a lot for is to schedule another appointment with them. Im no impressed and moving to someone else.

Set up an 8am appointment to avoid the long wait, but no such luck. Waited 50 mins until the doctor finally came in to talk to me for 2 minutes. Doesnt seem fair since I kept my part of the deal and showed up on time.Update: Came a back a couple times after my initial review. Id show up 15 mins early as requested and the nurse would call me in within minutes of signing in. Then the doctor would show up shortly after. Dr. Tucker appears to genuinely care for my health and offer sound advices. The long wait from my previous visit must have been an anomaly, but I wasnt offered an explanation so I couldnt tell you the reasons.

Been a patient for about three years now. The waiting room is small and full of sick people, so, be sure to wear a mask to not get sick yourself, or at least get sicker. Doctors, for the most part, are acceptable but nothing extraordinary. Several back office staff are horrendously incompetent and not very smart.

2nd visit during 3 years. Their tests cost me $450 half of them were unnecessary. Why the hell would you need a hearing test for example being a 35 year person, did I request it?no, do I have any symptoms?no.. its ridiculous, they used to have lab outside but now they come inside the clinic and take your blood before you realize it. Doc Jackson was really good for the first visit, two years ago (probly a fresh gradute at that time) was in hurry this time.. Ill avoid in future..
