The second I met Destiny, I knew I needed her to work her magic on my hair! Her professionalism is 10/10.She was very informative during the consultation and reassured me that we would be able to make my botched hair (from a previous hair colorist) much more wearable with a color correction. During my appointment, she was very attentive and made sure I was comfortable. She was happy to answer all my questions and let me know what exactly we would be doing with my hair. I let her work her magic and just... wow! My only regret is not finding Destiny sooner.Do yourself a favor and book with her! A stylist once told me that his clients were his walking advertisements. My daughter and I have been following Destinys Instagram for a while. We were impressed with the pictures she shared and we were eager to sit in her chair. After a consultation, Destiny said my shoulder length hair would be $425 and my daughters hair would be $125 an hour and would take about 5 hours. We agreed to the price and scheduled our appointment at a later date but for the same day (at her request). During the 7 hour appointment, Destiny was rude one minute and smiling the next. At one point during her frustration she accused me of telling her that we were coming from out of state and that is why she scheduled us the same day. We do not live out of state. The icing on the cake was my daughters haircut that was supposed to be a trim. In some places its 6 inches shorter. Of course, with long hair you dont notice until you stand up, but what a shock! Over $1100 later and we both looked like we still needed highlights (except for a highlighted piece in the front) and my daughter had the worst cut she has ever had. This day was far from good and we are definitely not walking advertisements for Destiny.

Go see Mari for color and highlighting and Alex for haircuts, blow dry and styling. They both do a great job and Im sooo happy with my hair in their hands!! Great job guys!

I had an appointment last Saturday (Oct. 17, 2020) with Destiny for a consultation. I told her I was looking for a new look for my hair since I haven’t been to a salon for months and I need to find a professional hairstylist in Houston (I’m new here). I told her also that even though I like my hair long I’m open to have it cut and treated before having it colored because it’s dry and damaged. So I showed her how my hair was (well) done the last time (December, in Brazil). Then she said “I’m not comfortable to move forward with you. You don’t know what you want”... I told her that’s why I was there... to get some professional advice to choose the best option for my hair, to make it beautiful and healthy. She told me I could go back in a few weeks when I decide what I want and make an appointment with another hairdresser but not with her because “she was not comfortable to work with me”. She was kind and polite but made me feel really uncomfortable, look like there were something wrong with me. If it’s not your specialty and you’re not capable to do what I asked, just be honest and professional to say it. I was thinking to have my hair done at the same day, but she told me she was booked up and that’s fine, I could schedule it for another day. But since I was treated like that, I will never go back to this salon again. I hope you take this feedback in a constructive manner in which is intended.

I went in about a week ago to get great lengths hair extensions. Alma gave me a quick and efficient consultation. And although we did run into The complication of not ordering enough hair to fit in my head, she handled the situation very professionally and over nighted some more hair. When I tell you this hair is the best quality that I have ever experienced, girl it’s worth the price. Period. The texture fits perfectly with my real hair. It’s so soft, even after washing. The Kerastase oil she recommended to me works so well with it and smells amazing. I could do cartwheels with this hair on my head and it will stay in tact. I’m in awe and I feel so lucky to have found this luxurious salon.

Alex did his magic on my mane! I came in with terrible hair it was really tragic how dry a lot of it was and the amount of gray hairs. He cut the dry parts of my hair, re shaped it and colored it. I came out looking like a Vampire Goddess!! Also, shout out to the very nice fellow who washed and shampooed my hair. Your massage skills made made me feel so darn relaxed I fell asleep in the chair.

Bella Rinova is an amazing salon! I followed Chris Marshall there (I would follow him anywhere - he’s that good) and I have loved his new home. It’s well run, clean, everyone is very professional and welcoming! Can’t recommend it enough!

I am pretty blonde but my last hair stylist at another salon left me with warm tones in my hair. I went in for a $50 15 min consult to see how much to take the warmness out of my hair. Destiny was slightly rude and would cut me off and annoyingly asked what I didnt like about my hair and if I was nit picky. She said my hair looked fine but she would still charge me for a color correction for $150/hr for 4 hours and my hair would still be warm, that I would have to just let the warmness grow out. Long story short I booked an appointment somewhere else...no need to spend $600 to come out with what I came in with. Front desk was very nice though ;)**UPDATE- I had my hair done at another salon and the stylist was able to get almost all of the warm pieces out the first visit and charged me only for full highlight :)

Deborah is a skincare genius! In case you haven’t already heard, her facials are divine and worth every penny. She uses top quality skincare lines (Biologique Recherche is a primary one) and her hands are magical— I never thought a face massage would be enjoyable, but it IS. The glow and clarity of my skin is noticeably improved after each visit. She’s a joy to be with, too!

Destiny at Bella Rinova was AMAZING! She did a color correction on me when I box dyed my hair and we gradually went all the way back to my beige blonde. I’d never go anywhere else. Christine goes above and beyond to make sure you are taken care of. She pays attention to detail and is very receptive. She even got there early for to make sure she time for my haircut (that I was too busy to reschedule) in addition to my color. The salon is very clean, and the front desk staff is very attentive.

I love this Salon! I’ve been going here for several years now. Parking is easy because there’s a big parking garage less than a min away. I felt extremely safe in the salon with all the covid precautions they’ve taken to ensure the safety of their clients (like masks, temperature checks, & large Plexi glass sectioning off each station). I highly recommend Sarah, she is amazing! She’s been cutting & coloring my hair for years & always does such an amazing job. I’m a brunette & the balayage she does always turns out so beautifully!

This is one of the prettiest salons in Houston. Located in the river oaks district, very busy and light filled. I’ve been seeing my girl Destiny for years and I’ve never been disappointed. I’m a brunette and I always love my color! If you want quality products with experienced pros you have to check it out.

I had excellent service, as usual, from Orlando Castellanoss. Health restrictions seem reasonable, although there could be screens between chairs, which I would prefer. This is going to be a long drawn out pandemic—investment in screens, while likely not particularly effective, would offer a little more reassurance to customers that everything possible is being done. Also the salon could provide for spacing— perhaps explicitly assuring, during a defined period each day that every other chair will be in use (maybe lessening need for screening).

This was the first time at the salon. Arrived 15 minutes early. I was told to put on a robe although never being asked if I had been there before. After, I had to ask for coffee. No refreshments were offered until I asked. 15 minutes after my scheduled appointment, I inquired over my stylist. I was told he was running late and I was his first appointment. No apologies given. No check up given until I asked. 15 minute delay is really not the big deal but everything put together, did not entice me to stay so I cancelled. I am new to the area and will keep searching to find my new salon. This wasnt it!

I have been going to Raquel C. for my hair for well over 10 years and now that she’s moved over to Bella Rinova, I couldn’t be more excited! It’s centrally located, so beautiful inside, everyone is professional and super kind...all around an amazing experience! I have a couple of friends that have been going here for a while, but it wasn’t until Raquel moved here that I got to experience this wonderful salon. Mario Romero has been my hair stylist for close to 15 years. I first found him when I asked my Neiman Marcus salesperson with amazing hair who her stylist was. I called to make an appointment that afternoon and have been hooked ever since. Mario listens carefully to your request and always adds his special creative touches to ensure you leave feeling like the belle of the ball. Mario does amazing cut and color and is an expert with extensions. He always uses the most lustrous hair and knows exactly where to place it to deliver a very full and natural look. He recently joined Bella Rinova in the River Oaks District and I love going to visit Mario in this trendy location.

Sooo great. It’s not inexpensive but you truly get what you pay for. My hair is hard to cut and style. It is stick straight and shows every flaw. Alex is amazing.

This place is pretty good. They did a good job on my daughters hair and mine. Parking is not bad. Street parking is around $3 an hour (if you can find it). There is also a free parking structure. The location is reasonably convenient. The salon is actually on the second floor. You can use the stairs or the elevator.

They are great and did an amazing job doing my hair. I would absolutely recommend them. My hair stylist even has me coming back for routine so I’m on time for color instead of my roots growing out too fast.

Lovely salon! They are taking extra precautions against COVID-19 too. Very very clean. My temperature was taken when I arrived for my appointment and plexiglass shields are erected between stylists work areas and every shampoo spot.I highly recommend Linda.
