Wow I’m so disappointed I got a call from this clinic for confirmation of an appointment tomorrow so I have a break now to call and the girl that answered was so upset and uttered under her breath “I don’t know why people keep calling right when we are about to close” and I said I’m sorry? She said “I’m sorry I’m talking to my colleague “ wowwwww no mam I’m sorry but I’m calling you in a great mood and don’t see why you have to be this rude! What fault do I have to finally get a lunch break to finally call you back!

Get rid of Dr Lindhorst. She misdiagnosed me telling me I was going blind and there was nothing she could do for me. And to not come back. It was only cataracts and another capable ophthalmologist fixed it with surgery. I see 20/20 now. But the years that I spent depressed because of this diagnosis was unnecessary. The way she coldly told me I was going blind makes me want to warn everyone to stay away from this dr.

I have three doctors here. The staff is very good. However there is a very serious problem with scheduling because the wait time is extraordinarily, frustratingly long. It reflects poorly on them. I hope things improve soon.

I was referred to Dr. Ali by another optometrist for my very new infant child. I had high hopes since she was recommended but was sadly disappointed. She was very inconsiderate and emotionless when it came to diagnosing my son, my husband worded it perfectly, she treated us like a business transaction. Very open and close, she answered our questions but did not explain her thoughts and reasons very well at all for what she was suggesting. Once the appointment was over she did not wrap it up, she simply walked out of the room, left the light off and the door open leaving my husband and I there to walk ourselves out.. Thankfully we went and found a complete different optometrist that was able to provide the level of care and professionalism we expected.

My doctor is good, chronically behind but good. The techs and front desk person are not any good. The front desk person is more worried about the screener role than her own role.The optometrist tech walked me to the other side, then asked me has my eyes been dilated like it was my job to do that. Guess what, I was sent back to the other side. The tech that dilated my eyes and checked pressures was unhelpful and want me to contort my neck in a awkward position to accommodate her.Wish my glaucoma specialist worked somewhere else.Dont try to call, sat on hold for>14 minutes.

Very unprofessional. Arrive at 8 a.m. and get out after 4 p.m. no staff available to serve patients. Generally very poorly run office.

I have been seeing Dr. Ruiz for more than 6 years and have never had a problem with his professionalism, and particularly his listening ability. I will agree that sometimes the wait can be more than an hour before you are actually seen. And the parking is expensive. Having a doctor who knows my history is very important to me. Dr. Ruiz has retired.

Took my mother here for the first time. Dr. Feldman bed side manner was unacceptable. what decent doctor much less person talks badly about a patient once they leave the room in the hall where other people can hear. Due to the coronavirus I was waiting in the waiting room when I see him come out the room and talk with another staff member rudely about my mother. I immediately went in the room and stayed with my mom the rest of the time. He lacks compassion and understanding that everyone is different and just because most people dont have a reaction to that medicine doesnt mean no one ever will. My mother stated that the dilation drops make her loopy. He ignored her and the rest of the 4 hour appt from room to room..There was literally 2 nice people that we came in contact with her the whole time.

I have been going here for 5 years now and they are so nice. I get glasses and contacts here all the time.

I do not recommend bringing a child to this clinic. We brought our 9 month old daughter to Dr. Layla Ghergherechi. During our 3rd visit after 2 minutes of trying to get a baby to look at a light she quickly dismissed us and stated unremorsefully that our daughter couldnt see and that there was no help that could be done for her. We of course got a 2nd opinion from someone who is actually skilled with children and has patience with children and received very different news. Dr. Ghergherechi is listed as a pediatric opthalmologist but I would strongly caution bringing a child to see her as she showed absolutely no skills for dealing with children in my opinion.

Recently got a new doctor by name of Dr. Shazia Ali after my previous doctor left but I couldnt be so happier with my decision to stay. Dr. Ali has a very nice personality and her office staff is very pleasant. I was diagnosed keratoconus and Dr. Ali preformed a procedure called CXL cross-linking. Dr.Ali is the doctor to see if you have any severe eye disease.

Excellent doctors (Ive been treated by Gavin Davis, Gene Kim, and Karina Richani). Technicians are also very good. Premises in the Med Center building are very clean and pleasant, with large windows and nice views. Self-parking in the building is easy. Ive knocked a star off because of the (sometimes) long waits to be seen and because one has to pay for parking in the building.

Most of stuffs work there will not treat you patiently and prepare for that.Over charged me and kick me out. What a joke. No surgery done on me.

I love Dr Lee but the wait times are long.

First time here, got my contact lens prescription updated, had an eye exam, staff was great. Eye exams do take time so dont expect drive-thru service.Will be back.

The clinic is the best i have ever been to. They saved my sight and have taken the best care in my recovery. Dr. Kukuyev and Dr. Kim have to be the best in their relative fields. I had complete confidence that no matter the outcome they had done their best. The staff is top notch and i actually enjoyed going there.

Staff was courteous, and I did not have a long wait (Memorial Hermann Medical Plaza location). Dr. Kellaway is fantastic. She always asks what is going on in my life so she can determine if anything will impact my eye condition. She gives me straight answers to my questions. I couldnt ask for more from a caregiver.

Like Dr Lee and the views - but don’t like consistently waiting 2.5 hrs to see him, year after year after year. My time is more valuable than that - plus parking ($13 today) and make the trip thru Med Center traffic it becomes an expensive, long afternoon I’m no longer willing to do.

Dr Adesina is great. Staff at front desk is very helpful. Knowledgeable staff about a rare vision disorder. Dr Adesina was able to explain the problem to us when other doctors couldnt. Easy to access, right off the light rail. Large open waiting area, quick service. Starbucks available on first floor is an added bonus =)

Dr. Stella Kim is incredible. She treated me following a stem cell transplant. I had remarkable results. If you have GVHD of the eyes, she is the one to see.

I saw Dr. Karina Richani and she was great. My eye exam was done on time. I finished my registration at the desk and immediately was called into the exam room. Not a second wasted!! I havent seen that kind of service in a clinical setting in a very long time. Dr. Richani gets 5 stars!

My son who has Autism seen Dr. Ruiz & Ruiz immediately was VERY AGITATED UPON ENTERING THE ROOM, RAISING HIS VOICE AT HIS ASSISTANT, HE WAS YELLING AT MY SON HE KEPT TURNING TO ME GIVING ME DIRTY LOOKS AT FIRST I THOUGHT HE WAS JOKING, I GOT VERY UPSET, POLITELY TRIED TO TO TELL HIM HE DIDNT NEED TO SPEAK TO MY SON THAT WAY HE HAS AUTISM, HE RAISIED HIS VOICE AT ME AND SAID YOU DONT LIKE THE WAY I DO MY JOB YOU CAN GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! Dr. Bhavani recommends high cost eye glasses that are four times more expensive than what you can get online. The quality of the frames from the clinic (Glasses by Phil) that is onsite were terrible and the clinic would not refund the money. Plus, the prescription was ineffective. Worst of all, the devices she wants to sell you can get from the state of Texas for free. What a way to make a living: rob poor souls who are going blind.

Due to the manner in which Health Insurance Corporations shove you into definite networks, this clinic has the monopoly over a certain segment of the market, and some members the staff here know that that most patients are already caught in their net, do not hesitate at all to abuse their monopoly over them.There is one name that keeps coming to my mind. Anne Sheridian. She seems like the first contact, running some sort of triage. She is the most arrogant person I have ever come across in the health management industry. Think of a wicked nurse from any movie, who is out to torture patients. You got the picture! When I wanted to report her conduct to the management, I was channelled to a certain Ms McCrany (spelling?), who wanted to close the issue with profuse apologies which seemed like momorised and very frequently recited. And yet, this Anne Sheridian did not improve her manners and etiquette.Since the above incident, I have talked to other members of the sraff, who remain polite, cordial, patient and helpful. Some names come to my mind: Elisabeth, Madison and a couple of others. Yes. None of them from the front desk. What a pity.P.S.I have no doubt about the excellence and professionalism of their Eye Specialists and Surgeons. They just need to introduce and enforce a Zero Tolerance Policy towards bad manners and etiquette on the part of their clerical and administrative staff!

I have had a few physicians in my entire adult life that has taken care of me well but recently since most of them retired early I have miss the quality of work they provided. The Fall of 2017 I was told to see an Ophthalmologist and referred to UT Professional in Herman Hospital Professional building. I found this clinic seems well established doctors have really good credentials but how they disappoint me is the lack of communication and terrible service. I supposed to have a follow up with one of the physician in the beginning of 2018. I had 4 confirmation of my appointment before the year ended, when I arrived to the exact date of my appointment I was told that the specific doctor is no longer work ing there. To my shock I asked politely if she was let go...answer was she left the state and last day was December 31st. I received a txt message to confirm my appointment on 27th of December, phone calls 2x a week before and 3 days before....I was upset! The front desk who was trying to check me in, speaks inward and cant even look at me in the eye to explain. Never been treated this way, I have been around the medical center and this medical service was way off-putting that I feel the need to write a review in Google. I dont recommend going to this place if you are looking for a new eye doctor. Terrible service!!

The doc I visited last year stopped taking my insurance, and nobody bothered to tell me that when I called to make an appointment. When I arrived, they improvised and tried to stuff me under another doc...

Seems like their procedure is to overbook as much as possible and punish the patients who arrive on time by making them wait. Been here for over and hour and counting. Staff don’t seem too concern telling me that I’m still behind patients who arrived after me. Only come here if you plan to wait for a long time.
