I called last week to inquire about becoming a new patient at 12 I was schedule for a appointment the same day 🙌❤ wont he do it I spoke with Lexy. She even gave me instructions to the office from my location she was so sweet and explained everything step by step I thought that was super cool. After I then met with 😇🧐 Dr Ruby who was soft spoken and very knowledgeable about eyes and she also was very helpful Lastly I met with Jackie she help me pick out the perfect 🥰 pair of 👓Each person I came in contact with was perfect from start to finish I felt welcomed when I entered the office and no matter if I didnt understand something each lady took the time to make sure I understood all my optionsI give the staff and office 10 out of 10 and will refer everyone I knowPs; Getting my eyes dilated and air blown in my eyes will be an experience that I will never forget.Thanks LadiesUpdate my glasses arrived in less than 4 days

They are friendly, accommodating, and really care about their individual roles in order to see to it you get the best care possible. Would give 10 stars if I could! I was able to get an appointment the same day I called. With it being the week of Thanksgiving I didnt think it was possible. The staff is kind and friendly. Dr. Middleton was absolutely wonderful! She quickly figured out what was wrong and wrote me a prescription. She went above and beyond when she asked me to call her if I got to the pharmacy and there were issues obtaining the prescription that day, so she could provide other options to ensure I got my prescription. I had a very good experience. The reason Im giving 4 starts its because I felt the provider itself could have been more friendly, but I also understand that no one wants to be expose or interact for too long with patients in this Covid times. I went to check my eyes which is the important subject here and she was magnificent and knowledgeable. The front desk personnel are wonderful. I was never hurry up in making any decisions, in fact I felt I took too much time from them. Overall my experience again was very good. I will highly recommend this clinic.

It was our first time trying this place and I swear we had a super wonderful experience! As soon as we walked in Jessica greeted us and made us feel extraordinarily welcomed! The “initial” testing is usually stressful for my 8 year old but Jessica was very patient and did everything she could to help my daughter be at ease with the whole procedure. Once inside the exam room we met Dr. Tsegai and he was exceptionally friendly and pleasant. My daughters both expressed they had a great experience and would love to continue coming to this location in the future. Bethany also assisted us with school excuse letters and was very pleasant to us. Overall it was such an amazing and positive experience for the whole family!!! Thank you Texas Eye Center!!

I brought my 3 kids here (ages 9-14) and he was very kind and spoke directly to them and also me. He included them every step of the way. The wait was short. Everyone was so professional. I love Texas Eye Center! I have been going here for 2 or 3 years now. I wouldnt go anywhere else! They are quick, efficient and inexpensive. They have trendy Eyewear. Everyone is friendly and polite, especially the front desk crew. They do not try to rip you off by upselling unnecessary services and add-ons. As well they are very knowledgeable of their products.

I took my son in last week to get his eyes checked because he failed his school screening. I had requested a specific doctor and to my surprise it was a different doctor. I decided to not say anything and give her a chance. My son was already crying because of the puff of air that was blown in his eye from the technician. He is 7. The doctor came in and asked my son how old he was and he replied loudly 7 1/2. She then proceeds to give him multiple step directions at one time. I knew he would only follow 1 or 2, so I repeated her instructions to him. It is clear that she does not work with children often. She then asked him to read the first line and he is non-responsive, and then she asked to read the second line, and he still does not respond, so I stand up and intervene and ask him what letters can he see and he does not even respond to me. I told him it is okay if you cant see any of the letters, but please say you cant see them. She THEN PROCEEDS TO ask me, IS THERE SOMETHING YOU NEED TO TELL ME ABOUT YOUR SON? I turned around and looked at her as if she was crazy. I replied, NO! First of all, my son is sitting right there and he can hear you. If you are concerned, she could have asked for me to step outside for us to talk about why he is not responding. So my son finally says he cannot see any of the letters and starts to cry. She then turns to me and gives me a prescription but she is not confident in the prescription that she gave and tells me I do not want him wearing the wrong glasses for two months. My response to her NEITHER DO I! Her inabilities to feel confident in her prescription is due to the inconsistencies of my sons responses, she says, Im not sure if he is telling the truth, which she did not have to word it that particular way! She then insists that we can dilate his eyes so she can get an accurate read. She tells him it may or may not burn. So then he starts crying all over again! I told her that I already explained to the front staff that I did not want my son to get his eyes dilated. I was trying to calm my son down and told him that daddy can bring you back, and she then SAYS, DOES DADDY LIVE IN THE SAME HOUSE? I was livid, I was now in fight or flight mode and I told my son we are leaving and lets go now before I do something that I regret! I told the front staff, who were wonderful by the way, that I would like a second opinion with the original doctor that I was supposed to see. This doctor first needs to have training in bias and self-awareness of how to treat children and adults. It makes me wonder how many other patients has she addressed in this way. Her inappropriate questions had no bearing for her to get an accurate assessment for my son. DILATION had NOTHING to do with getting the correct prescription. I look forward to speaking to the owner, Dr. Tsegai about our experience and hopefully this will be a learning experience for this particular doctor.

Excellent and friendly service: I was in the area and walked in for an eye exam. I didn’t have my insurance paperwork, but they were very helpful and pull the info for me. Excellent service

The staff was great from the start, everyone was super friendly and inviting. Isabel helped me with my contacts, because it had been a few years since I’ve worn them and she was extremely patient and informative. The doctor also explained to me that I have mono vision, which explained my issues with depth perception that I have attempted to address with doctors in the past, but was almost always ignored. He was also very friendly and explained to me all of my contacts options and the benefits of each. The girls at front desk are extremely knowledgeable and very clearly explained my benefits and pricing for the visit so there were no surprises at check out. The office itself is very nice and they had a nice collection of glasses to choose from to be a smaller office. I will be back again for sure.

Totally unacceptable customer service! I came in as a new patient for glasses and contact lenses. I checked in but 40 minutes later, I have 2 front office staff not saying anything to me or looking at the patient log in clipboard they have in the front. I thought I was being patient only to realize they thought I was with another family. So if you look like another patient there, then dont expect to get any help. I cannot attest to the optometrist since I didnt actually get the chance to meet him/her. I walked out thoroughly irritated. The office manager, Betty, did call to apologize and I appreciate her efforts. I cannot accept the front office excuse of we thought she was with another family when the gentlemen saw me walking in and saw me write my name on the clipboard. Plus there was NO ONE else in the waiting room except for me. Also, no returns or exchanges! Hmmm!

This is my 2nd year here for eye exam and contacts fitting. The staff are courteous and the doctor is very thorough and explain the exam results in detail and how to prevent eyes from getting worse. At first it was a little rocky. It was my 4 year olds first exam so she was terrified. The first woman who started the exam was a bit annoyed and frustrated trying to get a picture of her eye. And then complained about her back hurting. The doctor was so nice and put my daughter at ease and made it fun for her. Over all experience was prettty good.

Beware! Be very careful coming here... you will possibly be ripped off even if you have insurance with your employer. $100 just for a contact exam... might as well go to West Oak Eye Care for $60. Were they willing to work with me? Yes, $10! Havent even got to ordering my contacts and i was stressed out with the misinformation provided by this office. I was told $60 when i was being taken back for my exam. Yeah theyre so sweet and polite while they hold you between a rock and a ripped off state... I would give this place a zero if it were possible. Read all reviews... youll save money later... promise! Dont get ripped off. Theyre not much help and argumentative. Shop around! Youll find better!

My experience at Texas Eye Center was great, everyone was really nice and treated me with respect. Dr. Moses was very knowledgeable in explaining my pinguecula and how it could affect my vision further down the road. I was very impressed with Veronica she was very knowledgeable and patient. I got the frames I wanted within what my insurance would cover. Things went perfect and she took care of any issues presented. Overall I like the attitude of the staff. I will gladly be coming back and referring this place to my family and friends.

Dr. Moses is nice but his staff sucks! I went in for an eye exam and to order contacts. My order was supposedly place and I was charged the overages for what my insurance did not cover. Fine. Well, a month later after not hearing from the office, I go back to see what the status on my contacts was. My contacts were never ordered yet I was billed and so was my insurance. I was refunded my portion because I refused to place another order with them and they told me they would contact the insurance company to have them reset my benefits since I never got my contacts. Long story short, they didnt do that either. 2 and half months later I STILL dont have contact. While I was there, there was another lady complaining that they billed her insurance incorrectly costing her more money. Go at your own risk. I will NEVER go back there.

I have been 100% pleased with the eye care given to me and my daughter by Dr. Moses. So much so, we drive almost an hour for appointments. I was very unpleased with my visit I went in with my insurance took my exam for my eyes and it came time to pick glasses and I told one of the ladies that work there that I didnt like the glasses that the insurance covered and I pointed to the for Saatchi glasses and said that I was interested now then the lady continue to tell me that while you have to pay full price for those I said well I like those I want to look at them she said well you have to pay full price for those and I said okay yeah I know you just told me that but thats what Im interested and she said you sure because you have to pay for a price then I got really angry because why are you telling me three or four times that I have to pay full price for the glasses that Im interested in like I cant afford them because Im African-American I really was disrespected and I dont like the way that I was treated at all there and I wouldnt recommend a visit there if youre African American

I only take time out of my day to type this comment for those who are in real need of their tools to maintain their sight for everyday purposes which is everything .Which is what gets your things done with correct focus JUST A HEADS UP . After being noticed id receive my glasses through a 7 - 10 days theyll call . So just to check up I call on the 8th and get informed my glasses were not even acknowledged or sent in shipping yet . I stood patiently because thats my profession and lifestyle , now Im having to wait another 10 days to wait on a call again , at that not confirmed of officially getting my glasses token care of .I would NOT RECOMMEND this area if you are a busy persona or business owner , service very unorganized. Not including my doctor Im sure hes probably not aware of these employees.

Both my husband and I have had Texas Eye Center fill prescriptions from our O.D. and are most pleased; their prices are very reasonable and quality excellent.. Recently we discovered one of the lenses did not have the prism as prescribed due to lab error. When I asked Dr. Moses about it, he immediately called the lab and had a replacement made. Thank you!

Dr. Moses is really good. He quickly made the diagnosis that my last eye exam was not correct without me even having to explain to him what my issues were. The staff is really young and inexperienced so I totally agree with the below reviews and comments. They made a mistake in ordering my contacts, so I wasnt too happy on waiting over 3 weeks when it should only take about a week max. Overall, I was happy with the service given. Just make sure you double check with them and ask if they have put in your order correctly in the system. I will be definitely be returning here.

Poor customer service, Staff young, inexperienced and a bit rude. Dr. didnt try to make situation better. There are too many Optometrists to choose from to have to return here, even if I do have to buy a new complete pair of glasses at full price, to replace the new pair I bought there, somewhere else.

I went as far as having to call this trash bag chick out her name because she was so rude and disrespectful. After I go to pick up my glasses that took 3 weeks to get new lense for and 4 days to put the lenses in the frames, I will never return. I have had 2 bad experiences and Im gonna have another when I go pick them up. As a customer, you dont tell me that if I dont like that instead of them being ready in 8 hours, that their gonna be ready in 4 days, I can take them and have someone else put them together. I was over talked through out the entire conversation and that really put me over the edge. Their rude every time I call.
