Theres no ER parking... They have these sketchy guys doing valet parking that barely speak English... If you want to park the car you have to drive out into the street and go around to the other building... Real inconvenience... Valet service guys dont even tell you where you need to park if you dont tip them.... Theyre really rude... The ER itself was a waste of time, they just tell you to go see your regular doctor, they spent more time getting my wifes information, address, insurance, etc. Than trying to figure out what was causing the pain.... All they did was urine and blood, found nothing out of line, sent her to her primary care doctor.... Waste of time and money.

I just moved to Texas. I have no family here, no friends. I found out I was pregnant when I lived and unfortunately went through a miscarriage with my first pregnancy and the nurses and doctors were absolutely amazing. You can only imagine how scared I was, being all alone and not knowing what’s happening with my body. They comforted me through the entire process. Bria and Bernadette made me feel like I had known them my whole life. Dr. Gallegos explained what was happening and told me not to worry because she was going to make sure I was fine and she did just that. Although I was sadden by the event, I don’t think I would’ve mentally survived without them.

Dont drive yourself to the ER.ER Parking is a MAJOR INCONVENIENCE. Convenience for patients was not considered when designing the parking lot. The Valet Parking area is a 5min walk to the ER!!! Dont park in Reserved parking.

Dr Cano and all the attending nurses did an excellent job caring for me during my pregnancy emergency visit. I felt at ease and comfortable with the tenderness and professionalism given. I would trust this ER to care for me and my family again if needed.

We had the similar experience. We took our son who had fever to woman’s hospital children’s ER. It took a long time for the doctor to come and check him and it took another hour for her to just write the prescription of antibiotics. Later, we were charged more than $300 for just a short checkup and prescription. We called several times try to dispute, but the staff wont connect us to the manager and said they wont change. We will never go to the hospital anymore. They will rip you off!!

This review is strictly for the woman’s hospital children’s ER section. I took my son here after he fell and injured his head and was bleeding. They did everything they were supposed to do regarding his injury but the billing was ridiculous. With our insurance, we have a $150 copay for ER visits and the woman’s hospital children’s ER charged us over $2000. This should’ve been settled between them and our insurance company. But the hospital kept contacting us wanting the bill to be paid in full and when I asked for an itemized receipt to understand what I was paying for it was a very generalized list and didn’t give the details I needed, to see how it added up to that much money. So I refused to pay it and forgot about it and they sent it to collections which messed up our credit score. Suffice it to say, I’ll never be using them again and you shouldn’t either. There are plenty of other ERs in the Med Center that won’t up charge you over every little thing and over charge for an ER visit and will settle the bill with the insurance company which is what should’ve been done in the first place.

It was one of the worst hospital experiences I’d ever had. I was in pain for weeks and scared and I had already been to multiple doctors with no help. I went into the ER and the doctor who saw me told me that it was a mistake to come to the ER and that if I would just stop thinking about my pain it would go away. Not only that but she told me that there must’ve been a reason other doctors weren’t listening to me. It was completely awful and would not recommend to any woman.
