Awesome place to take care of your dog. The owner makes it easy to just drop off your dog for them to have a fun day. You can see daily videos on Instagram of their activities and at the end of the day youll know your dog had a good time when theyll be heading home straight to bed from being tired. Absolutely love this place! I brought in my rambunctious 1 year old puppy to play and socialize with other dogs and he came home happy and TIRED! I cannot recommend Patio Gate enough! The staff and the owner are all extremely friendly and you can tell they really care about animals.

This is a great place for your 4 legged family members. The owner is very accommodating and the employees are very nice and friendly. We had to drop off our dogs real early one time and the owner helped us out because we had an early flight. Very much appreciated. My only issue is that the last time i dropped my dog off she didnt want to come home! lol

Love love them. I have boarded my two dogs here multiple times, and I have not one complaint. The owner and staff truly love what they do, and the doggies love them. I love that my babies get to play all day. I have one baby that prefers to hang alone. They provided her time to do her sun bathing in peace. I love that they made accommodations for her. Love getting to spot my fur babies on their Instagram video updates. They are always pleasant when I call to check in on my pups. I would highly recommend them if you want you fur babies to be cared for with love and compassion. ❤️❤️

I have had the best experience with Patio Gate! I was unable to take my pup with us out of town so I needed a place for him to stay for 3 nights. I found Patio Gate and it was the best decision I couldve made for my pup! He is very energetic so the fact that the dogs get to play outside all day really makes him happy. Sophi, Erin and Sandoval are great and take great care of all the dogs there. I appreciate them because you can tell they genuinely care about all of the dogs at their facility. Whenever I have any questions Sophi responds fast and also keeps me updated with how my pup is doing. She also loads a lot of videos on Instagram so I am able to watch my boy interact with the other dogs. I now take my boy 2-3 times a week and he absolutely loves it! When I come pick him up he is always ready to nap, which tells me hes been playing a lot. I truly appreciate PatioGate and will remain a loyal customer. I would recommend them to anyone because they ensure your dog ACTUALLY plays and can run around (as dogs should). The best part is, hes made some new friends that he gets excited to see in the morning!

My Golden Retriever has come to Patio Gate for about three years now. Every day he cant wait to get there. The owners are extremely responsive and helpful. I feel like our dog is at his second home when hes there. I highly recommend sending your dog to Patio Gate for a day full of fun!

PatioGate Resort and Sophia are amazing. I do not know where to begin. Sophia is the best provider in the industry. Our dog has a lot of social issues and it was very hard to take her to other pet resorts because they did not want to deal with her being nervous or give her the time to become comfortable and get over her anxiety with new environments.We met Sophia and she instantly took the time and patience with our dog, nurtured her, showed her lots of love, taught us somethings we could do to help her with the anxiety and now our dogs loves going to PatioGate and so do my wife and I.To sum this up Sophia took the time to understand our pet and her personal needs to make sure our pet looked at PatioGate as her 2nd home.Sophia cares for all the pets and treat them as if they are her own!!!DO NOT HESITATE TO TAKE YOUR PET TO PATIOGATE PET RESORT.

I wish I could give this place ten stars! My puppy was a rescue and has always been very skittish around new people and dogs. I was worried to board her, but I had to and I read a lot of great reviews for this place so I gave it a shot. My dog absolutely LOVES to go here! She has become more socialized and she has completely come out of her shell and I owe it all to the staff of this place. They are all so kind and you can tell they absolutely love their jobs and love all of the dogs! There are multiple big outdoor spaces for the dogs to run around and play in and its covered so there is shade. They also have an Instagram and post videos of the dogs playing which warms my heart and helps with my separation anxiety from my dog. I recently moved 35 min away from this resort, but I would drive way further than that in order to continue taking my dog here. As soon as my dog realizes where we are going she can barely contain her excitement and tries to sprint inside to see some of her favorite people and dog friends! The dogs truly play all day and if you love your dog and worry about boarding or day caring them, i would absolutely recommend this place.

At first I was very hesitant about leaving him anywhere and with anyone other than my family but they are so welcoming and Sophia is so playful and nice to him. Also, their rates are extremely fair and the best that I found without the additional fees for “specialized services.”As a recent pet parent of 2 adopted 11 month old stray sisters that had a questionable past and old wounds that are still on the mend, I was panicked about leaving My Girls to fly out for a Christmas family reunion. They are still timid and wary of strangers and within 20 minutes of leaving them for their temperament test, I got the call that they were in the corner together and growling at Staff.Erin recognized that it was too soon to leave them alone with strangers and allowed me to stay in the large dog play group with them while they slowly introduced them to the other dogs. When they realized that I was not abandoning them and had the freedom and joy of being leash-less, they played their sweet hearts out and really came out of their shells.Erin & Sophia allowed me to do this a few more weekends to get them comfortable and acquainted with the dogs & Staff and it was so worth it. I saw videos of My Girls playing with the doggy crew and had prompt replies to my anxious initial inquiries about how they were doing. When I came to pick them up, they did not want to leave and gave kisses to the Staff, which is saying a lot!PatioGate Pet Resort was the answer to my prayers for finding caring and responsible boarding that I could afford and that understood my initial anxiety. I plan on looking into the daycare packages because My Girls have had so much fun and are coming out of their shells even further!Please give them a try - Your dog(s) will thank you!

Best dog boarding place out there! Rocco gets a ton of time to play outside and with other dogs at no extra charge. Dogs play all day! I am so glad I found PatioGate Pet Resort and recommend it to all of my friends.

Sophie and her staff were negligent, leaving our dog to sleep in a pee soaked bed for multiple nights, oblivious to injuries that caused multiple blood stains on his bedding, and was unprofessional and insulting when confronted about it.She wanted to try to work something out if we agreed not to leave a negative review, but we have no interest in bringing our dog to PatioGate again so we refused any agreement other than a refund or replacement of our bedding. Our dog was clearly forced to sleep on urine soaked bedding for multiple nights, given that the urine managed to soak through the normally waterproof bed cover. After being sent the pictures of the pillow inserts, she accused us of lying and sending pictures of beds that had been soiled prior to our stay. Our dog has not had an accident since he was 4 months old, and if he did we would never leave it in our home long enough to soak in and dry. She specifically assured us he had no injuries even after seeing the multiple blood stains that had soaked through the waterproof cover on his bedding. She threatened to talk to her “tight knit community of dog boarding/daycare places about us” and have us blacklisted from other boarding places. Her attempts at bullying and intimidation are as equally abhorrent as her lack of care for the dogs placed in her care.

Me, my 4 years old shiba and my 2 years old rescue absolutely love PatioGate and all the employees.I started working in the area August 2019 and I went looking for places for daycare. I visited several and after Patiogate I knew I would take her there. The dogs play all day, that is the best definition. And the employees love dogs, it is not just a job, you could see how they treat them.For an unfortunate event, during covid 19 pandemic I left my baby for 2 weeks and I couldnt come back for 7 months. I kept in touch with the owner and the employees and they were all incredibly understanding, they helped me as much as possible by telling me every day how she was doing, sending pics and videos. I got food and medicine delivered without issues. The day I came back to pick her up it was a Sunday and I called them in the morning, I think they were more excited than I was, and they even waited 15min more than their close time just so I could pick her up in the morning as they understood how crazy I was to see her.Then, after a few weeks home, I started taking her again for day care while I worked. And maybe she would have separation anxiety or something? No! She ran inside as fast she could and starting kissing Sophia and Erin.My babies love all of them and I am thankful I found a place that she plays all day long (she comes back so tired, she barely eat and go to sleep), she has love and that I can count on for anything that comes my way. I had taken her for daycare prior to covid and I always liked them but how they helped me during the pandemic is another level, I would never expect a business to be so thoughtful.

This place is really nice. They really take care of the animals and do there best to accommodate you. They are not locked up like other places, they have area designated for play and they make sure each dog gets some loving attention. I would come here over any other big pet boarding facility.

This place is the best. what the owner stands for is so great and i honestly felt so safe leaving Eva (my precious doggie) here. they’re so good to the dogs and their customers! the amount of time put in to let the dogs play is great and no other pet boarding place can compare to this! when i saw the dogs, they were all relax and it was a no stress zone. it did not smell at all when i walked in and walked through the entire place! it was so clean and so well put!!WOULD RECOMMEND TO EVERYONE!! 10/10. Eva had a blast.

Been taking our 1 year old for about 3 months 3 times a week. Very professional. Our dog always comes home happy and wiped from a long day of playing with the other pups.

Cant be trusted to do the simple things.... Like feed the dogs. My dog has a condition that requires a pill that I include with dinner. I portioned out the meals as required, and labeled them Breakfast and Dinner. I explained all of this thoroughly to the owner when I dropped off my dog After my first time leaving my dog with them, I return to find that they fed my dog 2 of the dinners, thus giving her too much medicine. Luckily the condition isnt such that this will cause great harm, but its disappointing to receive service like this. The bags are labeled for Petes sake.I also have another reason I wont return and it is because they kennel the dogs from 7pm-7am with no one on site. I dont kennel my dog at home, so paying someone else to kennel her doesnt sit well with. To be fair, I was aware of this before I knew they were negligent and I was willing to give it a try, but coupling this with negligence is too much for me.The owner is very nice and laid back and gives off a very positive vibe... But I need more than rhetoric to believe, and they did not follow up with great or even acceptable service. My quest for an exemplary place to care for my dog continues.

Our new favorite place to take our fur babies! The owner of this resort is super sweet and you can tell all the employees love/play with your babies as if they were their own. Your dogs will literally play all day. I also love that they dont charge you extra for daycare when you use them for boarding. They have an online portal in which you can book your own services, which is really convenient. The owner also post videos of all the dogs playing throughout the day on their Instagram page so I can see what my pups are up to while they are there. The overall concept of this resort is great, my dogs literally get so excited when we get there every time!

I walked in and got helped immediately, I was very happy when i walked in. Everything was super nice and super clean!!!! That made me feel extremely happy to leave Rex with Sophia at Patio Gate pet resort. She was very nice and super helpful!!!! I will recommend everyone i know to bring their pets here. I was able to walk around the facility and check everything out, they have a lot of space and its super super clean!!Thank you soooo much Sophia for all the help and attention i really appreciate it!

We needed to board out dog for 3 days over spring break. They took great care of him. He is a rescue and is very afraid of anything that seems like it may be the shelter so they took time to coax him into the building and let him outside with only two dogs so he could get acclimated and understand it was not an animal shelter.

The wife, two dogs and I moved from Nashville, TN to Houston and took my dogs here the minute we arrived. We needed our babies to be out of the way while we unloaded the moving truck. WOW!!! So much better than I could have imagined. Maya and Crystal have a new second home and the wife and I even left them there the week after we got here while we went to Wichita Falls for two days. Sophie and Erin ROCK and we will use them till the end of time for our babies.

This place was great! I had my two dogs board here and they seemed to do well here versus a traditional kennel. I like that they arent isolated, are always around other dogs and get plenty of outdoors time. My dogs get separation anxiety and depressed in kennels and Im sure they werent lonely here. The owners and staff are very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

Patio gate is great! We left the dogs for two nights and they had so much fun. We felt so comfortable leaving our dogs with the friendly staff. They were able to accommodate our dogs special needs and even have extra thunder jackets for our dogs! We will definitely be using patio gate again!

My brother chose this place due to its proximity to our apartment and its very high rating. From my limited experience, it has earned that rating.No cells here barely larger than a pet carrier; your beloved pet gets their own room, though you will have to duck to get in it. The smallest room I could see was at least 3x2 in square footage. There is also a large play area for the dogs.The gentleman stationed at front was very courteous and professional, and has an excellent memory. My brother dropped off his dog and cat, and since I needed to pick them up the next day, they just wanted to see me. Seriously, no photocopied ID or anything, I just had to greet the man. Said gentleman only needed to see my face for two seconds as an authorized person for pickup.When I came to pick up the pets the next day, he *immediately* recognized me, directing me to the correct room by memory even while he was handling other duties at the time. He even told me how well-behaved the pets were, and his report comported with what I know about an old (yet very excitable) Chihuahua mix and a very young tabby.I also noticed that many very well-heeled people choose this place, and are known. One gentleman, who drove a $60k+ SUV, dropped off his pet saying no more than my son will pick him up and this same employee just nodded and said OK! So, they have very loyal customers, and for -- from what I can see -- good reason.My only criticism of this place -- and, indeed, the reason that I rate it four stars instead of five -- is that it smells absolutely terrible. Emetically so. Its stench is akin to the nigh-palpable miasma that billows from the sewers when their disgusting contents are aerosolized heavenward in what Houston fancies winter.I get it. They mixed carpet with what must be thousands of animals per year, and they clearly didnt provide the cat with a litter box. But still. Hold your breath.

Beautiful facility with so much room for the dogs to play! My dog is usually very shy with other dogs, but within minutes they had her running and socializing with the other dogs. I was very impressed. She came home tired and happy! Thank you so much!

I cannot say enough amazing things about PatioGate Pet Resort. Sophia and her team take SUCH great care of the fur babies they watch! Ive noticed a huge difference since I started boarding my Great Dane at PatioGate Pet Resort. Kai actually comes back happy! With previous boarding places, he always came home stressed and would sometimes get sick (sensitive tummy) once home. He would get antsy, whine and start pacing as soon as he saw my suitcase come out the closet. But at PatioGate Pet Resort, we have NONE of that anymore. In fact, he starts wagging his tail when he sees that Im packing up his food now! Its no longer stay right by mom when walking into a boarding place...its see ya whenever mom!! He seriously has the BEST time there - and it shows! The best part?? I get videos and pictures of my sweetling playing while Im out of town! I absolutely LOVE all of the social play time and interaction he gets with other dogs while there. This is the best place - hands down! You wont be disappointed.

Finding somewhere you trust to board your baby is not an easy thing to do, and Im thankful that weve found PatioGate. We can always count on PatioGate watching Kai, even on last-minute notice. Kai is large and energetic, so he can be a handful, but they love him non the less. I highly recommend these wonderful ladies and thank them for the love they have for dogs of all kinds.p.s. the outdoor space is amazing, and there is no extra charge for you pup to run and play :)

First time using a dog daycare/boarding facility so I was a little anxious but this place was perfect! Great facility, it is a doggy dreamland and the staff are very dedicated to catering to your every dogs special needs. I will be going back again and again.

This place is the WORST place ever with a passive aggressive childish owner I’ve ever met. Can’t believe she calls her Number One in Houston. Stay far away. All she cares about business hours and making sure it’s all about her. Zero stars if possible. She screamed at me, called me names. Resorting to defamation is illegal, Sophia. Childish rants and rages will not bring customers in to trust your unsteady emotional states. WORST. MISTAKE. EVER.

Patio Gate Pet Resort is by far my favorite place to bring my dog. The pups play outside ALL day with scheduled breaks in between to rest, nap, and cool down. The back yard area is very big and sectioned off in order to separate the bigs, mediums, littles, injured, older, and not so social pups, but they all get tons of attention and play time throughout the whole day. There’s also a lot of trees, shade, huge bowls of water, and sometimes they will even spray the hose around for the dogs to jump and play in. The dogs are never kenneled or left alone except if they are being boarded and it’s night time or of course if there’s some sort of special instructions from the dog’s owner to do so. Sophie is the owner of Patio Gate and she’s always available to answer any questions or concerns you may have almost 24/7. My Ella is so so excited every time we pull up, it’s really like a second home for her. I take her 5 days a week for day care and it’s worth every cent. The rest of the staff is so nice and affectionate and playful with every single pup. They know and treat every single one as if they were their own. They also cater to senior, sick, and injured pups and take special care to provide everything they need. Dogs are separated in appropriate groups depending on their sizes and temperaments and even the kiddos that aren’t very social get tons of attention and playtime outside as well. I highly recommend Patio Gate Pet Resort to anyone and and everyone. Check out their Instagram and watch their videos. They post several throughout the day almost daily.

Have had issues boarding my golden Holtz at other facilities but not here! Picked him up as happy as could be! Staff was wonderful and staff kept my mind at ease with photos and videos of my furbaby having a blast playing which made my trip that less stressful! Will definitely be using them again!!

I have been taking my babies for a while every time I have to leave the city, they are nice people.The only thing I dont like is that there is nobody at the place at night for any emergency.

They have no consideration towards the residents that live directly next to the facility. Every morning dogs are barking at 7am and it goes on for at least an hour. Some ppl are still asleep and the lady had the nerve to tell me well there are also mechanic shops so dogs bark at night too no ma’am we only have this issue in the morning. They should at least wait until 8am to release the dogs outside but apparently it’s done when they first get there since she stated they release the “babies” in the morning will I have a NEWBORN and it’s disturbing when your actual child is SCREAMING to the top of their lungs because dog barking has screamed them especially when your own dog doesn’t bark.

Peace of mind is tough to come by when you entrust someone else with your dogs care for several days. Luckily we found Patiogate and were able to leave our pup with them while we went to get married/honeymoon for 10 days. The owners post videos regularly to their public instagram account, so you can be sure of a daily update on your dog - ours was always happily playing in their huge, shaded, outdoor area! Clean facility, friendly people, and the only doggie daycare/boarding location Ive been to that doesnt seem like a prison for your dog.

PatioGate is a lovely boarding facility - seriously, the best designed facility Ive ever seen. It feels very homey. PatioGate is owned by two wonderful ladies, Sophie and Erin, and I could see their personal touch in every aspect of the facility.My dog, Opie, has stayed for overnight boarding several times now and he absolutely loves it. The staff are very caring and Opie is always excited to see them. I have tried other boarding/day care places around town, but PatioGate definitely takes the cake! I feel much less stressed when I travel now, because I know that PatioGate will take the best care of my Opie.
