The groomers at Pawsh always do a fantastic job on Bizzy and Gundy!! Everyone is always so nice!! We even started taking Bailey for nail trims and the are great with her!! And the best thing is they are all ready for naps when they get home!!

Groomer did a great job on our Jazz. Jazz is only 10 months old and can be difficult but seems that all went well. Jazz was ready to be picked up in a less than 2 hours which was great. Certainly will recommend Powsh to others.

I adopted a Pomeranian Shih-Zu mix that had long shaggy hair and some matting. I took him to Pawsh Dog House for grooming. It was my first time. He was so adorable and much more outgoing after his appointment. The staff was so friendly, informative, and caring. Loved this place and definitely recommend!

I would give 0 stars if an option. Clear Lake Pawsh lost my dog in 12/20. I had traveled to see family after my mom passed abruptly in November. Pawsh employee left a gate open and my dog ran out onto Pineloch at rush hour. She crossed Pineloch. i arrived at Pawsh clear lake to pick her up during hours their lobby is supposed to be staffed. I stood in the lobby and watched the staff person who had left the gate open, walk by the glass window on door to kennel area, several times without coming to speak to me. I called their number and watched the phone ring several times. No one answered. The manager walked in about 20-25 minutes after I had first entered the lobby. The manager told me that my dog had escaped 30 minutes ago. If they had spoken to me as I waited frantically in the lobby, I could have gone out and called my dog just 5-10 minutes after she escaped. But I didn’t get to do this because the pawsh employee in the back saw me standing there and would not come talk to me. Four hours later I got my dog back safely thanks to my neighbor friend posting on Nextdoor. A friend of the woman who found my dog saw the posting. Getting my dog back safely was in no way due to efforts of Pawsh owner, manager, or employees. So you know, my dog was microchipped and the lady who found her took my dog to Petco Space Center/Bay Area and Petco employee did not know how to correctly access the info on the microchip. I called 24petwatch and they verified that microchip was active and working in 12/20. My dog had a collar with tags and my info when I left her at Pawsh. Pawsh employees removed her collar. Pawsh manager let me know that this was at least the third time that dogs have escaped at Pawsh clear lake. They were bigger dogs that escaped the other times and employees were able to get them back. My dog is 11 lbs.

I took both my Golden doodles last week and usually they do good work but the last time I took them my male Golden Doodle had a bad limp when I picked him up. I took him to the vet and they said it could just be a muscle strain from jumping or running around. Well I booked another appointment the following week for a trim and bath. This time he refused to get out of the truck when he seen where we were and he started trembling like a leaf. He wouldn’t listen to my commands to get out of the truck he just trembled more and when I gave in and said okay let’s just go he crawled over to me and stayed really close like please protect me. Has anyone else had a similar issue bringing you pets here??

These folks are amazing. I had an issue with my pup which I wanted a groomer to look at. We were greeted by reception and a groomer IN THE LOBBY, and our issue was resolved within ten minutes, for a great price. Id go out of my way to visit these folks, should the need arises.

So glad Lizzie likes to go there and comes out looking so special!

My Nismo is an ESA Shih Tzu he has always been groomed at home. I was hesitant to take him and LEAVE him to be groomed but I did. He came out looking and smelling so good! Most important he was HAPPY!! I took him for the second time today and he came out so excited!!Which makes me feel very comfortable with all the staff also I just love that he’s not kept in a crate and allowed to play with the other dogs!! Highly recommended!!!

I took my 16 year old cat today for a groom. They took great care of her. You can tell how much they love their furry customers and care about them not to mention that they also did an amazing job and Bunny looked good and fresh with her new lion hair cut. My cat Bunny was calm and happy when I walked in to pick her up. I recommend them and will be taking Bunny there again when she is ready for her next grooming.

I love how the groomers, Shannon and Victoria handle my dogs, Daisy and Eva. I would bring them again any time.

I came here after reading all good reviews. its not an awful place but when i first came at 12:30 they took my pup (under 10 pounds) and told me they would call me when shes done, also said that it would be around 3 or 4. I came back at 4:15 because i got no call & its been 3 hours, i walked in and as soon as i do they tell me shes not done yet because she has to get bathed again, i wouldnt have minded that but the lady had major attitude & said theyll call me when shes done, i never left the parking lot after that. I only paid for a haircut which is one bath included. They told me it would be around 50 and maybe more because she has some matted hair. it was 59 something and they gave me a new member discount so it was 53 in all. 15 more minutes and shes ready she looks great & smells great but the one groomer that gave me attitude needs to check herself.

The haircut turned out great, and they were very accommodating when I wanted something tweaked.

I would give it a 5 star review if they had an outdoor fenced play yard. If it does have one, I’ve never seen it or been told about it at the Clear Lake location. The staff are very friendly and make a point to know the dogs by name. They offer many services including grooming and boarding, which we’ve used many times. Our dog is ecstatic when he gets to go!

They did a fantastic job on my collie babies! They looked gorgeous when I picked them up. We will be back.

I personally do not use this service but know many that do. I walk past their facilities on a daily basis, and today I decided to take a good look in the window of their “boarding”... fully concrete floors all of which covered in dirt and hair. Pets in what looks to be rusted kennels and one elderly lab was in a kennel too small for him on nothing but hard floor. This made me sad seeing a pet that clearly needs padding when curled up on hard floor cold. I urge anyone who boards with them to stop and take a peak in their windows to see where you’re leaving your furr babies.

Lola is always taken care of as good as if we did the work ourselves. The whole team is great and Lola comes home happy as can be..every time. She looks great too! Never had to come back for a redo.

I would like more quality and control here. When my four legged friend, attended this location- she would jump the dividers. I never understood why she would do that... until I saw one of staff members encouraging it during pick up. So, I took a break from this location and took business elsewhere. After a couple months I decide to go back here and give it a second try. The staff has changed and I have not seen that member. Unfortunately, the jumping still has not stopped and because of the lack of supervision this place is not good for an active family member.

I really love this store. I started working here 4 years ago as a bather and trained for two years to groom. The manager here will hit the 10,000 dog haircuts mark this year since shes been with pawsh. Talk about experience! Im the general manager now and only come around really for pop ins and evaluations but I still love to come back and visit all the dogs I got to know, because it is like a house, not a factory or hotel. The dogs make friends among themselves and the people who work there. I could go on and on about this store and this business, and even though I love all the stores and all the dogs, this is where I started and I want to see it keep growing.

I would highly recommend this place. They have a great staff and a great environment for my little Precious. I know she loves it here.

Have used their services multiple times over the years with my dog. Whenever I pick him up after being boarded he is in good health and well groomed. They also happily accommodate his need for special food.

I have a friend that works there and I hear all these great things from her. Visited a couple of times, they had great customer service and when I went to ask some questions they gave them to me but also in great details. Hope to go there again

The grooming is great, their attitude and unprofessionalism is not. I forgot it was the reason why I stopped bringing my dog here until I dealt with their unprofessionalism again. When a large portion of your clientele comes from appointments/customer service the appropriate thing to do is be curtious if/when there is an error committed by booking, it should not fall on the guest and you should be actually even the slightest bit apologetic (no ones asking you to mean it , just show some tact!!). Dont think i will be coming back or recommend to a friend.

Bailey loves being groomed here and always comes out looking beautiful. We love their cageless option after being groomed.

The team here works so well together! The manager here is amazing and makes sure the animals are very well taken care of. She is a great groomer as well!

One of my dogs attended day care and also got a hair cut here. I was very pleased with the haircut and the price was reasonable. What I did not like was the way they treat customers. They dont thank cutomers. They also just release dogs into the lobby, and the customer is responsible for catching and putting the collar on the dog. The last time I went was the day my dog got a hair cut. I dropped him off, and they gave me an estimated time of when he would be ready. It was my day off, and I was running errands. So, around the time he was going to be ready, I called. He was not ready, and that was okay because I was not in a rush, I just needed to make sure I would not venture too far. Minutes later, they call to tell me he was ready, and I had already started driving elsewhere, so I said I would be there in 15 minutes. When, I got there, everyone seemed irritable. I heard someone in back say oh, now shes here. They released my dog into the lobby while I was paying. At the same time, there was a customer walking in with a dog, and my dog started sniffing him. I payed, and tipped but thought they were rude so did not return.On another note, please visit this site before you schedule daycare/boarding. It is a small facility in a strip mall and may not be suitable for all dogs.

The staff is wonderful, especially Victoria, shes so loving to all the dogs there. The facility is clean, very very satisfied.

I have used Victoria many times and she is a true Animal lover, very thorough and gentle, she treats my furbaby like her own and I couldnt ask for more!!!

Have a golden doodle? Be prepared to pay the dematting fee, even if you completely demat her the night before. There’s no way an hour was spent on that.

I take my baby to Pawsh in Friendswood for grooming, doggie daycare, and boarding. The people are so nice and they do a fantastic job with bath and brush with my furry monster. I also love the layout which is not like a typical kennel, so it feels more like home. The best part is the daycare, which wears out my pup. Pawsh also posts photos and videos on FB!

I LOVE PAWSH!!! The employees are very respectful and most importantly they LOVE my doggies! I love knowing that if I have to leave town in a hurry I can drop them off and they will be treated good. My dogs always look and smell amazing after a day at Pawsh. They’re always tuckered out afterward, too, which is heaven for me!

We boarded our dogs at the Clear Lake location. The facility is in a strip center with a small patch of grass behind the building for the dogs to potty. The inside has an area right next to the groomer that is setup for small dogs. It is the main walkway for employees to get through the facility and they use an old baby gate held together with duct tape to surround the small dogs in this area. The dogs can hear everyone and see every dog that comes through, making them all very anxious. Anytime the staff lets a dog in or out to their owners.....1 or 2 other dogs come barreling through and escape into the lobby. It is not an appropriate area to keep small dogs for doggie daycare. Just an old lanoleum floor. No play area at all. All big dogs have to go through the small dog area (as it is the main walking area)to get to the back big dog cage and cageless area. The big dog area is literally cages on both walls and the little strip in the middle where the employee would walk to open the gates is their open play area for the big dogs. Another walking area set up as cageless play area. Ridiculous! The outside glass window is tinted and they have it blacked out about half way up but the rest is see through, so any stranger walking by the window can see the dogs and vice versa. This causes them to become anxious and start barking and growling. Not acceptable area for doggie day care/boarding. When I picked my dogs up from a weekend stay, not 1 employee said thanks for coming, have a good day, or filled me in on my dogs behavior during their stay. They did not help me put their collars on or anything. They seemed irritable with all the other dogs barking and honestly didnt look like they enjoyed their jobs much. My dogs stink so bad. This place should be a grooming facility only and NEVER a daycare or boarding site. Seems they are trying to take advantage and squeeze any financial opportunity out of their facility that they can. Sad. Do not take your dogs here for daycare or boarding.

This location is very small and dirty. The employees were rude and do not treat any of the dogs with respect. The point of owning a business which is meant to care for animals means that you should, i dont know, care for the animals! Ive heard many negative things about this location, but seeing how this place has a high rating is pretty suspicious to begin with.

We did boarding at Pawish. Our second time, boarding our dog. We did the first boarding attempt at petsmart and when I went to pick up my skittish dog he was absolutely frightened. (Hes a rescue and naturally scared of people, but it was amplified.) When I picked up at Pawish, he didnt want to go home! His personality flourished here and I can tell he was treated very well. When you walk in, you see the pups in basically a makeshift living room, which I love. They sent me pictures with I appreciated. Yall earned a life long customer.

Pawsh is the best thing to ever happen to our dog. I know he is in great hands every time he goes for a playdate or for a bath. Before I found Pawsh I tried another place not too far-The first time he seemed ok but the second time I took him he started shaking in the car, even before we pulled up. He peed all over the car and I had to drag him out of the car to go inside. Needless to say I didnt even bother booking him that day for a playdate.. to this day I still have no idea what happened that made him act that way. That has NEVER happened at Pawsh, if anything it is the opposite. He is always excited to go play and rushes to the door to get in. The entire staff is super friendly and I have never had any issues with them. They have added on some new team members and they are all super friendly and even let our dog hang out in the front room when all the other dogs in the back have checked out. He comes home exhausted which makes me happy because I dont have a dog bouncing off the walls from being inside all day. Thank you Pawsh!!!

This is an edit to my original post in Dec 2015. I initially was unhappy with service I had received. I thought I was over charged and wasnt happy with the service. They did a decent job on my two small dogs, but not so good on my golden retriever. Her shirt was uneven, and I found 3 knots on her later that night. The manager contacted me to apologize (only after a regular employee called and asked me to remove my negative post) and provided me a refund, as it turned out, I was over charged. She also offered complimentary services to make amends. I probably wont go back, but I am pleased that they reached out and responded professionally.

30 minuets, nails not trimmed still had gnarls in ear hair. 3 trips $60 later not going backWent in about closing time was told to come back next day no appt needed.Went back next day was told needed and appt. Went back the next day 3rd trip.I have a miniature breed called a long hair Dauchshaund. Hardly long hair.... ears have hair and tail has hair.Dropped my dog off and received a call in literally 30 minutes. I went to pick her up and noticed that not all of her nails had been trimmed, the groomer took her and trimmed them. I get to my car and noticed that she still had a gnarl in her ear hair. Went back in and asked if they comb out the ear hair as part of the service, they wanted to take her back and do it and I said No thank you and I Will not be coming back.SO..... 30 minuets $30 dollars turned into $60 dog not groomed I am sure they did not bath her.
