If youre looking for a sign to not go here, this is it.My dog had a grooming appointment here, and I am so glad that we left before any services could be performed on either of my pets.Instead of taking my dog back immediately and making me wait to speak to the groomer alone, they had me wait in the lobby 10-15 minutes with my dog while numerous other clients came in. Additionally there were dogs shrieking (not just barking) all throughout the background making my dog more nervous by the minute. By the time the grooming staff came out he was barking but still wagging his tail and accepting treats. The grooming staff listened to him bark for about 30 seconds before telling me my dog is too aggressive to be groomed there. This is the same dog who attends doggy daycare 2x a week, has been groomed at other places, and I would genuinely let any baby approach him and not be nervous. Although they tried to play the whole this is in the best interest of the dog card, using the word aggressive multiple times to a new clients face is truly crossing the line. We would have left and came back respectfully on a day he was not as barky but not after completely misjudging a dog after a few minutes. I took both my dogs and will never be returning.Additionally, several of our friends had appointments over the next few weeks and have all cancelled after hearing about our experience.At the very least, the staff could be more professional and respectful.P.S. if youre looking for a doggy daycare, my car is bigger than their playroom so truthfully reconsider

Love Molly’s, they take such amazing care of my pups at day care and boarding/overnight stays. They are so friendly and the dogs are so excited to get out of the car when we pull up to Molly’s ! The staff is great friendly . Booking ahead advised. They are pitbull friendly a big plus. You can just board your pup, or add on play time and grooming. My dog comes home less stressed than from other kennels it’s A few dollars more than other kennels but has a great location

Unprofessional owner devalues her staff. The owner is all over social media laughing at her hilarious job posting and decrying the laziness of the current workforce as if the shortage of employees is anything but a reflection on her poor management style.I wont apologize for the things I think are funny! and Youve got to have a sense of humor to work here! she say on one hand.... then wonders why shes got these job openings that she cant seem to fill.

We took our pups here for the first time to get groomed and had a great experience. The staff was so friendly and welcoming and took great care of the furbabies. We will be using them for all of our grooming needs going forward!

My girls go to Mollys for grooming. One of them loves it, the other not so much, but I know they are in good hands. The groomer comes out to greet the one who loves her. Lol. They do a good job, friendly staff, easy drop-off and pick-up.

Mollys Mutt House did an amazing job with our two girls! It was their first time being boarded and one of them was less than thrilled about being there. They stayed in constant contact with us and worked with them to become more comfortable in their new surroundings. I cant recommend Mollys enough, without their caring and expertise we wouldnt have been able to enjoy ourselves on vacation.

Mollys Mutt House is honestly the only place I trust with my dog. I have been taking my dog to Mollys for daycare and cage-free boarding for 11 years. The staff is caring, loving and overall amazing. You can tell they love each and every dog that comes through their doors and they treat them as their own. My dog is always excited to go and I dont have to worry about him while I am away. I am very thankful for Molly and her staff and highly recommend them for all your dogs social and boarding needs.

Great customer service here, this was my place to stop when I worked on this side if town and needed a specific brand if dog food (Taste of The Wild). They always greeted me when I walked in and when the transaction was over wished me a good day.

This is the second time they have completely shaved my schnauzer. She looks terrible. Instead of taking the time to brush her out they just shaved her entire body. The first time they did this she also came home with fleas. DO NOT USE THEM FOR GROOMING.

I have been taking my pooch to Mollys for six years now- its the only place Ill ever trust to take my baby to; even though I moved across town a few years ago I make the trip! All of Mollys staff are kind and seem genuinely passionate about pet care. Molly, herself, has given me tons of valuable advice on my dogs diet, and since following her guidance my baby is healthier and happier than ever!

Mollys mutt house, of course from the outside, may seem all smiles and butterflies. However, if you ever worked at one of her facilities. You yourself will start to see a different story. [Perspective from a friend] To assure you, some of us do and or did do our best to make sure your little furry friends are welcome and taken care of. Sadly, some people who dont do their part, stay clocked in and rather chat with the manager. The funny thing is, thats not the worst part. If youre an honest good hard worker, they wont care much about that there. They prefer people with fake personalities and a strong sense of lying. People who tell you things you want to hear. Not saying its a bad characteristic trait to have. Its only bad when you do it to the wrong person. The lovey usual citizens that come often, and sometimes newcomers too, tend to be charged with things their dogs did not get. For example, lets say your dog has a play time or walk. At certain times, these activities are done. Not all dogs that are signed up get a chance to participate, but instead of telling you that. They just charge you. Other times, customers will pay for snacks [seasonal snacks or weenies] for their dogs. Sometimes they dont give them their snack. When they do, half of the time the dogs dont want to eat it. So when the time comes to take your pooch home and you ask Did my dog eat the treat. Theyll lie and say yes so that next time youll end up paying for another snack your dog did not eat.

Love this place have been taking our boys for about 7 years now. Once they see the door I cant hold them back. After boarding them at Rover Oaks where I had to drag them in when I arrived, this is a big change. Everyone has always been extremely nice and helpful and accommodating to our boys.

Fantastic place and they will take great care of your pets. We love our pets like we love our family members and Molly and staff will treat your beloved pets like you would want them to be treated. Your pet will have lots of exercise in the playrooms and will be taken good care of while staying at the Mutt House. 5 stars and highly recommend!

I have been taking my girls to Mollys for 5 years. The staff is awesome! The groomers always do a great job. Mollys offers the best dog food, treats, and toys. I wouldnt take my dogs any where else!

Cisco approved! Our pup is always happy to hop out of the car for a visit to Mollys. Weve boarded him here, and have him bathed regularly at Mollys as well. Convenience brought us here, and keeps us coming back. The only challenge I have with them is in communicating exactly what I want in his cut. Cisco is a mini schnauzer but we dont like the standard schnauzer cut. So weve tried various ways of describing what we like best, and have inconsistent results with the groomers. I put a significant amount of that on ME, but since they do this all the time, I wish that they could read between the lines a bit and help me articulate in grooming terms what Im looking for. Otherwise, pretty happy!

Staff super friendly and helpful. Stopped in to use an instore credit left from December. The therapeutic chew toy that I purchased kept our hi-energy sheltie mix pup occupied and not aggravating his senior Maltese Mix sister...and Human Mama too!!! 😊

We’ve been going to Molly’s for about 2 years now for our Golden Doodle Walt’r (We’re not Fancy). We’ve only done grooming there with them but I must say that he always looks wonderful. The do such a good job from nails to teeth and ears. It’s such an improvement from the terrible Petco we use to go to on, I want to say Shepherd, next to the Big Lots. He normally gets a 4 puppy cut all over. He looks fabulous every time he returns. And for a dog as hairy as he is those cuts last a while. Love Molly’s! I would recommend this for people in the Heights/ Garden Oaks area. Staff is nice so long as you’re not a jerk yourself Lol. Definitely recommend you giving it a try if you’re looking for a groomer!

I will not personally bring my business here again. I work with a local dog rescue group, and awhile back we had a dog who needed to board for a few days. I called Mollys and was provided with a quote from an employee. When I arrived, the employee was very friendly, and gave me a discount since I was with a rescue group. I was happy with my service!I had no issues until I went to pick up the dog. I was charged a higher price than the price that I had been quoted. I explained to the woman that I had been given a quote already. She told me that the price I had been quoted was wrong. I explained that a Mollys employee had given me the quote. She then began to bad-mouth the employee and argue with me. I told her that it was not professional to go back on a quote, and that it was not my fault that I had been misquoted. Overall, she was very rude. Eventually, she agreed to honor the original quote, but told me that she would take the difference out of the nice employees paycheck!What is ironic about all of this is that I had been very pleased with my experience based on the attitude and kindness of the first employee. I would have given them more business, and I even planned to begin buying my dog-food there. However, the total lack of professionalism that the manager showed changed my positive experience. I dont want to give my business to someone who bad-mouths their employees and resists honoring original contracts.

I have been getting poodle cuts my whole life. These people are RUDE AND INSULTING - I took my dog here for the first time. I dropped him off and spent 10 minutes filling out paperwork. I emailed the front desk girl his rabies papers and a picture of what I wanted. I wanted about one inch left on the coat and clean feet with a clean face. She said nothing about the condition of his coat. I went to get coffee and thirty minutes later they called saying he would have to be totally shaved because hes too matted. I told him that I have never been told that by a groomer and that I have been getting him groomed his whole life. I regularly bathe and brush my dog - but he is a poodle and their coats get thick. They said they couldnt do it though and to come get him. When I arrived - the middle aged white man with short hair proceeded to tell me again that he was too matted and that they wouldnt even be able to anything but shave him. I told them that doesnt even make sense because if you shave a dog with severe matts it would cause burns - even though my dog had minimal matting. I told him thats why the cut costs $50+ because clippers have to be changed out due to heat and dogs are rotated. Any other groomer I have visited takes at least 4-6 hours to complete a poodle cut, and most will simply add a nominal up charge for extra brushing. I told him that this is to be expected. THEN, He proceeded to tell me that if I had been getting my dog cut for years, that I should know that it was inhuman and cruel to cut a dog that was so severely matted. These people simply didnt want to put in the minimal amount of time required for this breed and instead chose to waste my time and insult me.

Bad customer service at this area, never going back. They never pick up the phone. I left my house on the 30th of April or the 7th of May (it was a supper rainy day) called approx 6 to 7 times, 45mi after 7 trying to reach some one and to see if they would wait for me if I was late due to the storm, they never picked up the phone got there at 7:10 lady was supper rude, did hand gestures that the open sign was off, even called her through the business phone she told me basically to go back home after driving over 1hr, to go get my dogs some food. Waste of my time and my gas. I was a regular at the Mollys at galleria and had never had this problem with Vallery or other staff never going back to Shepherd. Bad way to do business & to lose customers after closing 2 locations. Should have a talk to ur staff or fire ppl that cant do theyre job right as easy as answering the phone Molly.

Worst experience ever! Went to the store to schedule first grooming visit. Was told to come in any time on Thursday. We left our dog at 7:30 AM and received a pickup call at 6:00 PM saying that they had not finished grooming. Actually, they had not even bathed her. They were over booked and the groomer told me It is what it is. I asked for the manager and Amy said that they couldnt devout much time to combing my dog due to the number of dogs scheduled. She said my dog should be shaved! I have a Coton, a long haired dog. Shaving is not an option. Im sure it would be easy to shave a dog rather than figure out how to groom her. Our dog drank an entire bowl of water when she got home which leads me to believe that she was denied water for 10 1/2 hours! We wont be back! DONT TAKE YOUR PET TO THIS STORE!!!

So, Im a bit of a helicopter parent with my dog. Ill be the first to admit. Today, I took my 7 month old schnauzer, Pickles, into Mollys Mutt House worried and scared as all get out. I had read a couple bad reviews and I know thats going to happen everywhere. So, I was very hesitant. As soon as we got there though, the girls at the front desk were smitten with her and gave her all the Awws and Shes so cute!!. After I dropped her off and made it to work I barely sat in my chair before I had a missed call and voicemail from Mollys advising me on her cut...but asking permission before she made any executive decisions. I was very impressed with that. Then, right before I felt the need to call and check on her...I GOT A CALL AGAIN FROM MOLLYS. They let me know they didnt think getting her nails painted would work because her long paw fur and advised me against an upcharge they could have easily sold. She then informed me that Pickles was ready and I could pick her up anytime. Again, the girls were so sweet and Pickles was SO HAPPY!! One of the ladies at the front desk even made sure to remove the tags from the toy I just bought so Pickles could have her prize right then and there. I will absolutely return to Mollys for all of Pickles needs!! What a wonderful place and to the staff: THANK YOU GUYS SO MUCH FOR PUTTING A PARANOID DOG PARENT AT EASE!!!!

Unbelievably inexcusably worst service ever experienced in 40 yrs of hiring house sitters! 1st service, Leigh Anne left water on in pond....OVERFLOWED & cost me $300 in wasted water. Against written instructions, left pile of 2 wks newspapers @ front door! Service just now: Left alarm UNARMED!...failed 2 water many plants from written instructions.....killed $150!...dislodged 150 gal aquarium filters....allowed $300 fish to die.....without calling maintenance man for days! Molly & Leigh Anne declined to even examine my property & view the damage....which is shown on video surveillance. This must b business as usual for them.....they just comped the fee...which is way unacceptable. I gladly pay for competent service....not this height of incompetence. Molly refused to provide assurance that my sensitive data is removed from database...nor will she return my key, previously given to Leigh Anne Marshall. She said: just change your locks and codes. Ive got the video 2 prove.....

I love Mollys Mutt House ! They wash my stinky dogs and clean their ears when I am too lazy or its too cold to bathe them with a garden hose. My dog had a hot spot on his skin and Aimee recommended some Duck-based dog food that was spendy, but cleared him right up and saved me a trip to the vet ! They didnt even get mad when Sluggo peed right there in the store. Whoops!

Went to my appointment given over the phone, only to be told I didnt receive an email. So they dropped the ball and I did not have a appointment scheduled. They didnt offer a new appointment or apology. I was told they were booked for the day. Very bad customer service.

I actually used to work at mollys, but i quit because of the careless ghetto staff, ridiculous unsafe rules, and fleas. The staff in the back is rude, and constantly curses out the dogs and calls them ugly and stupid. The daycare dogs are only allowed water twice a day for 5 minutes at a time. They usually resort to drinking their own pee because of this. Its sad. They are also lacking the right amount of crates, so your dogs will most likely be crated with a strange dog. BEWARE. I went home everyday with flea bites, and i dont even have pets. Wouldnt recommend this place to anyone.FWI, when you see an employee with their back to the camera, and theyre bending down, its because they are squeazing muzzle grabbing your dogs snout. its a secret thing they do to help train your dogs, or keep them from barking. and trust me, it is not done in an appropriate way. its the owners secret policy.there is also an employee who has had problems in the past with beating dogs that she thinks, and i quote, aint actin right. She has somehow made her way up to manager.
