I known Dr. Toma since 2011 when she was a doctor in Dallas Texas. After I return to Houston I would drive from Houston to Dallas just to see Dr. Toma. She is a outstanding doctor and I highly recommend her for your doctor.

I have been a patient of Dr. Tomas for several years. I initially went in because a test given to me at my place of employment (KISD) showed lumps on my thyroid. Dr. Toma did the sonogram herself which showed I needed a biopsy. I was surprised and very grateful that the lab test to check for cancer was done immediately after the biopsy. I did not have to worry or wait long to learn that the lumps were benign. I received the results while I was still in her office.I appreciate her kind and attentive bedside manner every time I go for an appointment. I also appreciate her thorough explanations of my condition (I have Graves Disease). She is a wonderful doctor.I dont write many reviews, but I did because I read the earlier posting from the disgruntled patient who was late and told she must reschedule. Her one star rating (without ever having met Dr. Toma) seems unfair to me-- Especially since it was the only review that showed up when I googled Dr Toma to get the phone number for her office. It makes it look like Dr. Toma is a one star physician when, in fact, she is the best doctor I have ever been to see. (Hence the 6 month wait to see her!)The first time I went to the Woodlands office, I was worried when I saw no parking spaces. However, it only took a few minutes to see that there was Free Valet parking at the building. I simply handed my keys to the young man at the podium and walked into the building. I dont know why the receptionist told the late patient to reschedule, but there could be many reasons. I know filling out all the paper work took me about 15 minutes on my first visit. This would make the reviewer about a half hour late. The doctor may have had a procedure that did not allow her to wait, or she may have needed to leave afterwards. Regardless, the reviewer was at fault for being late. I understand her frustration, but it seems petty and unfair to leave a one star review when it really is her own fault she lost the appointment.

Waited 6-months to get in to see Dr. Toma. She’s at a new hospital, with a lot of construction and NO parking; spaces are taken by construction trucks. I literally followed someone leaving to finally get a spot.I was 10-minutes late. I completely own that I was seeing a new dr and should have been super early. I would have been a couple of minutes early only. She refused to see me because I was late by 10 minutes. There is no policy when you setup a new appt to arrive 15 minutes early or a late policy. But she still refused to see me l. I waited to see her for 6-months but she couldn’t wait 10 minutes.I’m not interested in a dr who knows they have a wait list, who herself probably makes patients wait and knows the hospital is under construction with people driving around looking for spaces and can’t be understanding for a 5-10 wait. Not a soul in her waiting room that I held up.Super disappointing experience after waiting so very long. Shameful.
