I had a very pleasant experience, I was attended by five people. The receptionist, an Advocate, the nutritionist, the Lab technician and a Drs nurse. They all were very professional at what they do there at True Results. I felt very comfortable during my visit. I never felt pressured at all, I really liked all the people that helped me there, while my two hour visit took place. I look forward in following my future visits.I would also recommend True Results to my friends and family..

I had an appointment at 8:30, but didnt get in till 9:20. The receptionists seemed unorganized and a little panicked almost, maybe they were short staffed that day. However, my wife, who has been going to True Results for almost 6 years says this location is almost always an hour behind on their appointments. The staff, besides the receptionists, were knowledgeable and easy to speak with. However, due to running late on the appointment time, I didnt have as much time to do the consultation that I would have liked. I will return for another appointment to do the rest of the initial visit. They were able to give me detailed information about how much my insurance would cover, and my options for doctors. They were also able to lay out what I would need to do in order to qualify for the procedure. The experience was not about pressuring to get the procedure, but rather about what the options were. I liked that. Also, they validate for parking in the Hilton Hotel parking structure, which is connected to the facility.

While everyone was really nice, be prepared to wait, and wait, and wait at your initial consultation. My appointment was at 3:30, and I believe it was 4:30 when I was finally called back. Then I waited, and waited, and waited in the exam room. Its a slow process. I really want to have this done, but my insurance doesnt cover it, so I was told I could go to the Dallas location and have tests run to see if I have a hernia, then if I qualified for surgery for that they would do the other while in there. They pay for your hotel, but I find it strange that I would have to go there, why wont the Houston doctors do it?

I had an appointment this morning. The receptionist and patient consultant were both rude. I went to true results last year at the West Houston location and the atmosphere was completely different. This was a waste. They were very impersonal and didnt seem to care one way or another regarding the client. The atmosphere was very cold. Needless to say, considering my insurance doesnt cover this procedure and I have to pay out of pocket, I will take my business elsewhere. Poor poor customer service.

Everyone there is so nice and knowledgeable about what they do. I wish they hadnt moved to the medical center. Its more difficult to get there, but its totally worth it. Im hoping the thin, healthy girl in me will soon be visible.

So I went to my first consultation yesterday and I wasnt motivated at all. I dont know whats with this location, but it sucks. I was so excited when my co-workers told me about this company, they motivated me to stop being scared and get additional treatment. But theyre going to a different location, so maybe thats why my experience sucked. I left there feeling so discouraged and defeated.First the receptionist who are supposed to greet you with a warm welcome were dry as hell. I stood there for a minute trying to figure out who to go to because both were available, one just ignored me and the other just stared. So, I just walked to my right, I didnt get a I can help you from wither one. I was the first to say HELLO! with a smile and she just said hi and asked for my name. I waited for about 20 minutes before I could be seen.My so called Advocate called me in, and shes just as dry as the receptionist. I mean shes so dull, she was very monotone, maybe its because she hates her job or she wasnt feeling it that day or shes just used to saying the same things over and over. But she really brought my excitement down from 95% to a straight 65%, I just kept thinking to myself, I cant deal with her every month. I mean she didnt have any facial expressions, didnt smile once, she was a robot. The physicians/physician assist. were awesome, very upbeat, exciting, just a pleasure. I kept thinking why call the other chick an advocate when she doesnt seem supportive or motivational at all. I did like the lady, who was talking to me about cost, but what really turned me off is that she discouraged me and keeps discouraging me to quit if I dont have 5 years worth of medical proof of my weight. She keeps comparing me to other patients who were rejected yet not making any attempt to fully research what can be done. I called my insurance company and theyre response was are they going to attempt to get pre-authorization before they tell you no and its not 5 consecutive years, they just want 5 years and 6 months of weight management. I called a number they gave me for a woman in Dallas, I left a message and still havent heard back. So, either this is company that could care less about getting business or its just a location that sucks all together. Im researching other companies.I think I wont be going to my 2nd appointment next month.
