First time I had to wait for 1.5h to see Dr.Amor for 5 minutes, all questions were answered by her assistant nurse, not the doctor. Second time I was fed up waiting for an hour, so I left. There is simply no respect for other peoples’ time.And that’s aside her impersonal demeanor . She might be knowledgeable, but not patient friendly.

Very professional and friendly. She answered all my questions and explained everything very thoroughly. I really liked how her assistant Amber went through everything again and had everything ready. I would recommend you see her for any of your dermatology issues. I even went back to work and told twoCo-workers to go see her. She was awesome!

Dr. Amor is truly the top in her field. She is well-educated and takes the time to explain everything in detail. She has treated not only my mother but my daughter as well. Her assistant, Amber, is also very welcoming and patient. All around a great doctor.

Ive never had a doctor explain things to me as well as she did. I went to her for an eczema problem and she gave me an entire packet of things to try and it was really helpful. Best dermatologist Ive ever been to.

I saw Dr. Amor as a patient last week @ Memorial Dermatology. I in healthcare, and was very impressed with Dr. Amor and Amber! The office is very concerned about covid-19, they had me wash my hands prior to going to the exam room.Dr. Amor did a biopsy and talked about my plan going forward.Amber told me she would contact me when my results come in. Amber also discussed what I need to do until my results came back.I would recommend Dr. Amor to anyone, as a matter of fact I recommend her to one of Nurses I work surgery today!

Dr. Amor is the best in the business, she is professional and really takes the time to understand my concerns and help me with the best treatment plan possible. Her head nurse/ assistant Amber is amazing as well, she is very helpful and has a way with words that helped me understand excatly what was going and going to happen during my treatment. Over all I would highly recommend them to any of my friends and family. Thank you for fixing my concerns.

If youre looking for a dermatologist in Houston, I highly urge you to give Dr. Amor a visit. Because of several skin conditions I have, Ive seen a dermatologist regularly for the past 20+ years. I originally chose Dr. Amor because her old office was near where I live (central Houston). I have always been pleased with the care she has provided so much so that when she changed practices and moved to the Memorial City area, I followed her. I would recommend her to my family and closest friends, so I recommend you see her for your dermo needs.

Simply stated, her communication and people skills are atrocious, was dismissive and ignored me.

The so-called visit was literally 30 seconds. She walked in with an already pre-determined diagnosis and treatment plan (steriod for all!). Didnt ask a single question, dismissed and ignored me when I tried to explain to her what she was prescribbing has been tried and proven to be ineffective.

Not impressed. She came in and introduced herself, didn’t ask me any questions about my lifestyle. When I asked her questions she kept saying that her med assistant will go over the regime with me and answer my questions. Didn’t feel like she cared about my concerns... or wanted to listen to me. Waste of time. She told me if I wanted my moles looked at I would have to schedule a whole new apt. Time with her was literally less than 5 minutes.

Karrie was amazing! Not only did she do a great job in diagnosing my malignant melanoma really quickly but she gave me the results much faster than I expected. The thing that impressed me the most is she took the time to actually call me herself...it’s rare you see that with a physcian! Being in the medical field myself I was blown away by how much she cared, how attentive she was, and the sheer professionalism in her practice. Karrie is nothing but great....thank you so much Karrie!!

After my past attempt had failed at finding a good doctor that can resolve my skin condition, I decided to do some research on the other dermatologists in the area. There were too many reviews and options that it was overwhelming. So I chose Dr. Amor because my house is close to her.she is an amazing doctor, very knowledgeable and caring.I didnt feel like she was pushing some new medication on me, but rather felt she truly had my best interest in mind.I hope this helps others in making there deciosn.

Dr Kerry is amazing. After going through so many doctors, I am glad I booked my appointment dr Kerry. I was falsely diagnosed with lupus by another rheumatologist even though I had no positives in my blood work. However, Dr Kerry went against that and knew I didn’t have it. After our first visit, Dr Kerry knew what to prescribe and for once in my life I had faith again. Because I started seeing results. She examined my face really well and knew what I had. I trust her so much. Thank you!!

As someone with a family history of skin cancer I did my research thoroughly when I chose Dr Amor as my dermatologist. We had recently moved to the US from Australia and was in need of a good professional with proven cancer research but also a reasonable amount of experience and outstanding patients’ reviews. Dr Amor filled all the boxes. I have been her patient for a few years now and I can say that she is not only extremely professional and proficient but also personable and easy to talk to, a combination that is not always a given among health professionals. I would recommend Dr. Karrie Amor in a heartbeat.

If I could give less stars I would. Dr. Amor refused my husband care because of the possibility of his insurance switching. She refused to do any possible pre-authorizations twice in 60 days. Do not see her for help, because she will neglect her Hippocratic oath.

Would highly recommend Dr. Amor for anybody needing help with anything they are concerned about for themselves. She goes the extra mile for your health and is not just doing her job but taking pride in her work.

Dr. Amor is wonderful. My 3 teenagers and I all go to her. She spends enough time with each patient to answer all your questions, and offers treatment options when appropriate.

It is rare for me to write a negative review. Yet, my experience with Doctor Karrie T Amor, MD is worth letting the public know. Hopefully I can save someone both time and money….I called nearly 30 minutes before the scheduled appointment to advise that I would be late. Considering I was about to leave work early, if my tardiness was not OK, I would have gladly rescheduled and remained at work remainder of the day.However, upon contacting Nigro Dermatology I let them know that I would be late and should reschedule. I was told, “It is OK.” I then asked, “Are you sure?” The reply was, “Yes, it is OK.”I then left work in route to Nigro Dermatology.Considering I received phone calls to confirm each appointment prior to the scheduled date, surely Doctor Karrie T Amor, MD or someone could have called me thereafter and informed me that I needed to reschedule. I would have appreciated that!However, upon arriving to Nigro Dermatology the receptionist left the desk and spoke with Doctor Karrie T Amor, MD privately. Upon returning, I was then told I need to rescheduled. Frustrated yet remaining calm, I “reminded” the receptionist that I call beforehand and was told that I was good. Yet the reminder was without avail….Dr Karrie T Amor, MD and Nigro Dermatology are the most inconsiderate “team of supposed professionals” I have ever experienced. Again, if anyone, it could have been the janitor, had contacted me to reschedule, this review was have surely been positive. Yet she failed. Yet Nigro Dermatology failed. Read this review and you be the judge….I do not recommend her. Nor do I recommend Nigro Dermatology.But then again…. I’m was not a patient… I was just a number…
