I have never seen such shameless doctor, Chen is a liar and really good at cheating your money and have insurance fraud. My mom is 83 years old and was called and picked up to their clinic last Oct, why they went to pick up, as they know that my mom has $4000 insurance for dental they can claim. After they got the money, they just had my moms two teethes unfinished till July of this year, but they still refuse to finish the job and use patients suffering to ask more money to continue, very ugly! A man called WeiWei Yan said he is the owner of the clinic to talk to us, he is not doctor, how come he is the owner of the clinic? When asking what is the relationship between him and Chen, he refused to tell. Is that normal? Greedy has damaged their heart and brain. Cheating cannot be forgiven especially for elder. Never never go you this clinic, they dont have basis moral and responsibility to treat patient. All they want is your money.

Dr. Will is a huge buff guy but actually not an intimidating guy and he gets the job done! He cleaned my teeth with care and always asked if I’m doing okay. Helen is also very sweet. Overall, excellent service and would recommend coming here!

Dr. Chen needs a great team of professionals in our office. Punctuality is a really important issue for me and they always deliver the care on time. The work is always to my satisfaction. Dr. will took extra time to redo my two front teeth caps because they don’t look right the first time. I really appreciated that.

If youre like me and have high anxiety when it comes to going to the dentist, this place is for you! Dr. Will and the dental assistant (Helen) were both very helpful in calming my nerves and talking me through their findings and the procedure. It had been at least 5 years since my last dental exam, so you can imagine theyd find some not so great findings. I ended up getting a filling on a tooth which was not painful at all (good job numbing agent!). 10/10 would recommend!

I rarely give 5 stars. These guys are all you could ask for. No one likes going to the dentist. Between my braces as a kid, and my gum issues and such as an adult… I’ve spent a lot of time in many dental chairs. I am a grumpy old senior citizen now. For the past year, I have had a loose front lower tooth that cause pain and problems biting /chewing food. I went to many experts and dental schools. For the price of a new car they would help me. I finally got dental insurance that helps and Liberty/Devoted sent me to the heart of Chinatown to Dr. Chen.Not so easy to find. The address says Bellaire Blvd. But they are really closer to Corporate Drive just above East Wall & Tofu Village Restaurants. Yes 2nd floor and stairs. It is a busy shopping center but parking is free. You cannot get or fill out their forms on-line. Allow some time before your appointment for that.Even with those gripes the care with Dr. Chen is 5 stars. I brought my X rays and she did a complete exam. It was just supposed to be a cleaning. And where other places might have you in for lots of visits so they can charge you more… she evaluated and did the deep perio cleaning I needed right away. She made some adjustments, bonded the loose tooth and made it lower to relieve pain and problems with my bite. All in one 90-minute visit! Two prescriptions and I was on my way! Why couldn’t anyone else do that? Both her and her assistant Caroline were gentle, caring and compassionate. They always gave me a moment to relax when I needed it. I also met Dr. Will Wang during my visit. I know I need to find some permanent solutions, but this was my best dental visit ever. She cares about her patients first and it shows.I shouldn’t write such a great review because then she will be harder to get appointments with. But if you are nervous about getting dental work done, and want it done right the first time, save yourself some grief and just go see Dr. Chen. You will be glad you did. 2 days later, I am eating normally. I had not realized what pain and trouble my dental problems had been giving me. I am so relieved now.Less grumpy too.

As someone that is part of Gen Z, I didnt really know much about adulting and all this stuff with insurance but Diane and Katrina at the reception desk were really nice and good at explaining how everything works. Everything that was wrong with my teeth was explained so eloquently that I gained some extra braincells.

I went in to see Dr. Sen Wang today for a checkup and cleanup. He spent his time carefully checking my teeth and spent time to explain what needs to be done for my teeth. He filled in a couple of cavities and ensured everything was done to my liking before letting me go. He was also willing to answer any questions I have. I would recommend Dunhuang to anyone who asks!

Brought my entire family in after first visit 3 years ago!Dr Chen is an excellent surgeon with a very calming way about her regarding procedures that are necessary, urgent or to be watched. My first visit was due to my lower right tooth breaking off completely with the crown and I was very nervous but after her taking time to educate me on process for the extraction of the tooth and recommended implant, I agreed!the whole process beginning to end was above my expectations. There was a time midway through healing process where my gum wasn’t healing properly, and we prayed and within 3 weeks everything was settling in, became secured and result was perfect. Additionally My 2 teenagers both needed wisdom teeth pulled and were very nervous but after it was done, very pleased with very little pain. She was excellent with the follow up and both felt very important and cared for. Recently I went in for a cleaning and exam and Ruth who joined Dr Chen about 4 months ago was one of the best and most pleasant and detailed dentist I have ever had in my life ...and I’m 57! I loved their modern technology with taking magnified pictures of teeth as a ‘baseline’ and to set a plan for immediate (had a small cavity) and long term vision for improving health of teeth, gums and mouth and future need to replace a very old crown. Truly trustworthy and always kind, pleasant and attentive to detail. Staff very nice too. Highly recommend!!

Jennifer Chen is very unprofessional. She implemented 2 teeth for me on May 2018. She promised life time warranty for implemented teeth at that time. After half year later,one tooth dropped out. I returned to fix she tried to charge me to fix and I rejected. One year later another tooth dropped out too. She charged me to fix it. I said you promised life time warranty. She said life time is only for teeth root. How ridiculous!!!!! I asked is it too ridiculous that all implemented teeth dropped out in one year? She said it is very common and happens to others too. But I asked many of my friends who implemented teeth. Their teeth works very well and they never heard this ridiculous word. It is May 2020 now, my teeth dropped out again. Don’t waste your money on her clinic find somewhere else. I just recently moved to Houston and got a recommendation from a friend to go to Dunhuang for all my dental needs. I went in and had Dr Wang clean and check in my teeth. He did a great job cleaning my teeth and was honest about the condition of my teeth and what had to be done. He showed me the X-Rays and Pictures and walked through them to justify his recommendations. I am very satisfied with the services provided by Dr. Wang and the Dunhuang team and would recommend them to anyone.

This has to be one of the best, if not the best dental office I have ever been too. The dentist is awesome, knowledgeable, kind, and very attentive. They present every issue that is wrong and provides a range of plans. The rest of the dental staff are just as amazing. Everyone is friendly, and upbeat. The current promotions they have going on are great.

Was recommended by a friend to this place for a tooth wash service. I was greeted by their manager Will when I walked in the clinic, we had a good talk while waiting in the lobby and he gave me a lot great advise. And of course service result was great, I haven’t felt this great about my tooth in a while. And the bill is only $75, packs a great value! Would recommend this place to my friends.

Dr. Chen first treated me back in 2015. She is gentle, kind and very compassionate. I came to her with perio issues seeking a second opinion after a bad experience with another chain dentistry. She has been my dentist ever since. Finally convinced my husband to go to the dentist this year after the unfortunate condition of his teeth worsened, and the service was the same. What particularly spoke to me is that in this day and age she is very comfortable in her beliefs, and as a Christian, it meant a lot to me that a woman of science/medicine took the time to pray before my procedure. As always, the personnel were friendly and informative, from the front desk receptionist to the assistant and dentist. In particular, the hygienist that cleaned my teeth did an amazing job of explaining the why for everything she did and recommended. I had great experience with this dental office. First impression was from the person sitting in the front desk, he talks nicely and gives good suggestions. I was doing a tooth cleaning, the hygienist well explained to me about my tooth during the cleaning process. It’s a great place to go for dental issues.

I came in about 2/3 weeks ago for a routine cleaning even though I knew my wisdom teeth were a problem. Not only was the cleaning extremely well done they fit time into their busy schedule to help remove my wisdom teeth that wasn’t previously scheduled. The entire process was quick and enjoyable. Post removal I felt little pain and discomfort for all of two days which is different from all of my friends experiences. Although this could be attributed to just being lucky I don’t think it was because during the explanation for how I should treat myself they spoke in a way that made it seem like they expected it to only take a day or so to heal, showing they’ve been removing wisdom teeth with this result for a long time. Highly recommend this dentist to anyone, I drive from Austin, TX just to see them!

I really dont mind going to the dentist now because Dr. Chen and Dr. Wang are both really friendly and not scary at all! I feel like the doctors actually explain to me what I need clearly and do great work. All the staff are nice and welcoming. I also think they offer very fair prices, which is important to me.

I suspected that I had an infected tooth and I was able to be seen in 30 minutes from making the call. Turns out they did find the teeth causing problems and they were all removed in just a few days from then. Dr. Chen did a wonderful job and the staff is very friendly. I highly recommend this place.

Went to Dr. Jennifer Chens office for a cleaning and she told me that I have so many problems with my teeth (I go to another dentist office in Massachusetts twice a year and I never have any critical problem with my teeth). She began to show me what they have to do and even showed me the discounted price. After few days she called and told me that they had to jump up the price because of this and that. In the end I had to pay over $2,500 extra from my pocket. Its one of my worst decisions for stepping into her office after the first visit, my teeth isnt as healthy as it suppose to be and seems like thats how shes making money from her patients. I dont recommend this scammer to anyone.

I went to Dr. Jennifer Chen to get my teeth straightened and greatly regret it. I wanted to do only my top teeth, but she convinced me to add the bottom teeth also. She only succeeded in making my bottom teeth worse with larger gaps in my teeth. They are also worse because one is higher than the others. She cut my teeth so and after 4 months of work she said she cant fix them because my roots are not straight. If that is true why didnt she know that from the x-rays before she started? She gets you to pay more every time and keeps saying she can fix the problem. I think she is just trying to get more money and hasnt fixed anything. I think she uses cheap plastic braces and they dont work. The brackets and braces break and come loose frequently and she tries to get you to pay more to fix her poor work. When I would not pay her any more money because I had already paid her to fix my teeth she got annoyed and her response was that she would pray for me. She gets some of your money then tries to get you to buy more services and when I would not, she stopped working on my teeth. This is after she worked on my teeth for 4 months and said they would be finished in one more month. I would not recommend her to anybody.
