One of the most fun and informative bank experiences Ive ever had! I came to open a new account and Elizabeth G. helped me so much! Although she was new, she did a wonderful and superb job in explaining every step I was taking. She was very considerate and even gave me advice as I was opening a new account. The ambiance of the bank was overall great and she made my experience even better! Thank you so much!

I injured my back a few days ago so it’s been very difficult to get around. I walk slow and sit/stand even slower. Each employee took the time to make sure I was okay and always asked if I needed assistance getting around. The specific person I set my account up with was Carlos. He answered all my questions and was very helpful.

Money grabbing customer service. Heed my advice! Never have business with TBCU! Poor customer service and a facade of unrefined experiences. Branch manager Iris Adere acted unprofessional and raunchy on the phone. Living out of the state gives them the flexibility to take advantage of their loyal customers. Manager Nicole was somewhat useful but after having an encounter with their branch manager (IRIS), there is no reason for me to partake in such disgraceful behavior given by the representatives, badly at that.

This bank has robbed my family hundreds of dollars. If your bank account goes negative 25 cents they charge you 30 dollars. Even if you hurry and correct it within an hour they still charge you for going into the negative. Im trying to support a family of 5 on a single income and they could care less if my children go hungry. This is bank is awful STAY AWAY!!!

I have been a member with Texas Bay for several years now, and the more that time passes the more disappointed I am with them. Theyve recently changed their hours, lobby and drive-thru open at 9am, which have become extremely inconvenient. Shell FCU opens their drive-thru at 7:30am, while United Community CU opens their drive-thru at 7am. Texas Bay has chosen only certain branches to open on holidays causing members to flock to one CU, which in turn increases lines and wait time. When I do find the time to visit TBACU on regular business hours I usually wait 20 minutes or more to speak to a teller (Wallisville location). Long story short, I prefer the customer service and convenience of other credit unions.

This company has been nothing but problems for me, I started with this place years ago and it was okay at first. But now the app has been crashing. It does not update your balance at a timely manner. I deposited cash within the timeline of it being the same day and they said it would be in the account same day. Yet here I am same day needing money for my 2 yr old child and it not letting me access it saying I don’t have it in my account. This is out of line and I will be taking my service else where.

One of the best places to go that will take care all of your banking needs and no monthly fee for my regular checking. So I had the pleasure of speaking with Ms. Whitney V. and let me tell you that she is the best at what she does. She was fast and answered all of my questions even the silly ones. I didnt expect much when I walked into this small establishment, but they WOWED me! Friendly customer service. They really took their time to explain my options to me. You can take a picture of a check to deposit, they have a free app, the checking account has a nice interest rate, theres no monthly/annual charge, ATM fees are reimbursed up to $10 a month, and the first box of checks is free! They even have cameras at the drive up depositories so you can see who youre talking to! Im telling everyone I know what a fabulous credit union this is! As a bonus, one of my former students works there, and shes always so bright and cheery when she greets me by my name! Love this place!

Long time member. But lately they arent taking my automated payments and then reporting it as a missed or late payment to the credit bureaus Which now my score has dropped over 100 points. All the while i have had money in the account. Wish i could give tem a negitive 100 stars like they done me.

Misleading & disrespectful these members here are supposed to treat every customer with care, unfortunately that was not the case. I have tried calling this credit union several times during business hours regarding my account and no one has answered. Now my account is $150.00 in overdraft fees and I’m dealing with this penalty. They called me on the 40th day to tell me this. The issue is how am I supposed to know what’s going on with my account when I cannot login or get any customer service. Now that it’s reached this point I owe fees that they will not waive. This is very inconsiderate and disappointing. I do not recommend this bank I will be closing my account unless something is done. My suggestion is RUN find a better credit union.

Wow this place sure knows how to overcharge It’s members. They don’t answer they’re phones and charge 29$ per overdraft fee and never mention it when signing up. I really thought this place was going to be different than a bank. Same terrible customer service. Word of advice do not ever sign up for this credit union.

Aside from paying for favorable reviews.These people have the worst website known to man. You need a password for login then you need a password to access account to pay from somewhere else. Then they auto change your password on both every 30 days. And you cant use same one twice. Often locking you out of your account all together.Cant prepay your loans, And unless you provide information that should be attached to the long login attempts you can have your payment can wind up going no where till you get hit with a late payment. Because yeah your not getting a call till its too late.Furthermore they outsource insurance verification to third parties ran by children in India who constantly attempt to hit you with !,600 of TBCU insurance fees that they admit serves no purpose whatsoever other than to harass its own customers to see whos gonna catch the whole ploy.It could all be simple if they only used a standard website to conduct online business.
