This is the first time I have left a Google review for an exceptionally positive experience. I tend to only leave them when I’m upset, but Julie’s customer service and friendliness were so exceptional that I can’t help but write my first positive google review for a company. Thank you so much to Julie for making the experience of getting an auto-loan so simple. As a young first time car buyer, I had a lot of concerns and questions but Julie handled them so well. I’m incredibly satisfied with the service I received, and if I were to ever need another auto-loan, I’m going straight to Julie at the Kirby location.

Normally, they dont do stuff like this, but Glenn looked at the situation and understood that it made sense. He took his time to talk to me and he explained everything in great detail. I would like to publicly recognize Branch Manager Amber Martell and Loan Officer Julie Heath at the Kirby branch for going above and beyond to assist me with my auto loan. I first met Amber in April 2019 and although I didnt choose to accept the loan and open the account she left a memorable impression on me with her level of service and attention to details. Fast forward to September 2019 I located a vehicle and processed the application with Ms. Julie Heath. Ms. Heath was extremely accommodating and explained everything step by step. While in her office working on terms the vehicle I originally wanted sold and the application terms were not as they were in April. Instead of saying there is nothing she could do she packaged everything together and met with Amber and they worked all night (and I do mean all night) to get terms that I could accept and with the vehicle I originally wanted back in April. I cant thank both of you ladies enough for helping me get exactly what I want at an incredible rate! I look forward to maintaining service with the credit union for decades to come.Update: 3 weeks after I got my brand new vehicle I had a major nail / bolt (something) in my run flat tires (how I dont know). Due to my loan being new and the tire service / warranty still in processing the customer service line had a problem covering the replacement. I reached out to Amber who personally called the line and took care of the issue and everything was taken care of the same day.No matter if it is a new loan or an issue, the level of service I have received has been first class. For starters I Was clueless that this building even existed yet alone one of Houston’s Best Kept Secret, Federal Credit Unions was locates here. The 24hr accessible ATM machine with its almost private/secret location is great and the Staff, Carrie & Kylie is way more than professional, lets not forget address the courtesy as well. I applied for my first Credit Union account and unfortunately I had a minor stimulation that prevented me from opening the account but Carrie, worked with me patiently and diligently and explained the intellect down to detail and insured me that she’d turn my application over to the branch manger the following business day upon her return to see if anything can be done to make the process a success and be sure to inform me when she has further detail.Overall, I give this Branch location 5 Stars and would and will encourage family and friends to open an account as well.Sincerely,Satisfied Customer

This location is within an office building - somewhat in a lobby. It is new, modern, and nice. There is a 24 hour HFCU ATM on the exterior of the building by the lobby entrance. The lobby entrance is inside a parking garage/pass through. It takes deposits and is accessible 24/7.

Nice people work here, and as a credit union, youre treated like you are in the right place to get financial services. Big banks have lost the touch for customer service. HFCU remembers whose money they keep.

Very bad customer service, wasted time and effort as well as taking a hit on my credit when applying for an auto loan. Provided all inflation and denied without reasoning. Make sure you goto a REAL Bank like Chase, Bank of America or Wells Fargo. Cheers!

I financed my car through them and had to open an account with $100. When I paid off my car I went back to collect my money and there was only $50 left. Little did I know about all the fees this place has attached to your account. They look for every reason to drop fees on your account and take out a more money from you. Be careful with this credit union. Good thing I dont bank with them. Bad Business! 👎👎

The lady was there today on 10/20/2017 before ask me to in checked the waiting list and after talking to another person!given to me and another gentleman(not the guy which she spoken with!)the form to fill up without even the table and really could not press the paper form to write on it.
