I normally do not write reviews but I had to share my recent experience with Eddins Counseling. I have been to therapists in the past to try and manage ongoing anxiety but was always met with the same approach, they did well listening but I did not feel that I was provided tools to help me manage the anxiety day to day. I took the chance again and found Eddins Counseling through the suggestion of a friend. I was impressed with the counselor as soon as I met with her the first time. She came across as warm and caring yet professional. I knew from the beginning that this experience was going to be different. After a couple of meetings, she helped me understand what was driving my issues but also gave me practical exercises to help actively manage situations. It was the first time I felt like I really had control over things in my life. I would highly recommend Eddins Counseling to others that appreciate compassionate counselors that help and a practice that is easy to do business with (I could easily make an appointment without waiting all day for a call back).

Joan is very empathetic and understanding and is someone who shows a lot of compassion for her clients. Having Becky as my counselor was different than the other counselors I have met with before. She is fun and makes you feel comfortable and safe. If I had to cancel appointments, she was always understanding and if I needed to contact her, she responded quickly.Charisse is also quite skilled as a therapist. Greta Bellinger is hands down the best counselor I have ever seen. I cannot even begin to praise her enough. My significant other and I gave our relationship one last chance by going to see Greta. It was probably one of the best decisions weve ever made. You can tell she is not only very passionate about what she does, she is incredibly knowledgeable and experienced as well. Throughout our sessions she did a fantastic job of listening and truly getting to know us as well as our struggles, and she helped guide discussions in a manner that really helped facilitate the crucial discussions between us and Greta, and between my significant other and I. She was very intently engaged in each session, gave us homework/readings to help us see different perspectives, and most importantly gave us the necessary tools to better discuss with each other in times of disagreement. I can confidently say my significant other and Is relationship has never been healthier and stronger.

We went to see Samantha for couples counseling twice now. At first of course it was a little nerve racking since neither I nor my spouse had done this before. However Samantha made us feel relaxed and at ease. It was surprisingly easy to open up about our problems and the things we wanted to accomplish as a couple. I would definitely recommend going if you have thought about it. I am so glad we did it and feel more connected to my partner and that we have a better communicate between us.

I worked with Rachel for MANY years and I feel so incredibly lucky that stumbled upon Rachel’s practice (or maybe I can give my “gut” a little more credit ha – Rachel would probably like to hear that, she did teach me to tune into it!). I had a great experience working with Greta Bellinger. She has a real gift for understanding intimate relationships and helping them to heal and develop into something amazing.

After reading the reviews on google about Eddins counseling group I was excited and hopeful about me and my wife’s appointment with Greta. I had been to one marriage counselor before in the past, twice and paid half as much. I didn’t really like the counselor but my wife and I left there with tools, hope and a little direction.This was not the case with Greta. My counseling session was nothing more than a hour long facilitated argument with my wife. Greta offered no advice, no direction, no hope, no insight, no plan and absolutely no help to either of us in any way. We left worse then when we came in. I would not recommend Greta to anyone unless your goal for relationship/ marriage counseling is divorce.

An amazing place for career counseling and more!I first started seeing Joan Mullinax back in 2012 for career counseling. I had been unhappy with the direction of my career for at least a year at that point and decided it was finally time to do something about it. I honestly think my words to Joan were something like Im unhappy...and I would like to be not unhappy. Joan is an amazing counselor, I always felt in good hands with her because she gave me the tools I needed to make informed decisions about my career direction.
