Angela did a deep cleaning and she showed me how to dental floss and how to take care of my teeth. They are very caring and sweet, and they take their time to make sure everything turns out perfect. I had a great experience at my appointment today. Everyone was nice from the time I walked in. I was escorted to the room immediately upon arrival and met in the room by the dental assistant. The dental hygienist Angela was very thorough with cleaning and educational with dental hygiene tips. Dr. Nelson was very personable and took his time making sure all my questions and concerns were answered. I would definitely recommended URBN dental in Uptown.

I came in for an emergency tooth extraction due to being in excruciating pain. I was serviced by Dr. Chae The staff were very welcoming, concerned and eager to help me! They were very informative about after care and any other concerns I had. I was very pleased with my experience and decided to came back for exam & cleaning. Dr. Angela did my cleaning and she was sooo informative and diligent and made sure I was comfortable! They also gave me an electronic tooth brush & mouth wash as a gift! I needed a lot of dental work done because I had neglected my teeth at times. I also don’t like going to the dentist because I’m scared what going to be done will be painful. I was hospitalized because of my teeth earlier this year and had another bad infection which lead me to URBN Dental as a emergency. Well now I am getting all the work done. All the staff are very caring and understanding. Dr. Chae and Angela the dental hygienist are simply amazing. They are now my new dental team. They have made me more comfortable with my dental health and now I will be better prepared about handling my dental health in the future. I have found my new dental home and will be proactive about continuing my dental health.

This was my first time at Urbn and I was immediately amazed at how nice their suite was upon arrival. I was greeted and assisted as soon as I arrived and was shown back to my room. Not gonna lie my teeth were in a state and rooting/planning was needed which was an experience. Dr. Nelson was very professional, pleasant, and very patient with me as he saw I was nervous. The hygienist who worked on my teeth, Jorge, was so sweet and funny and kept checking in on how I was and gave me breaks when he saw I needed them, I appreciated that a lot. Kim and Viviana, Marylee, were awesome too I damn near took Kim’s hand off when Dr.Nelson injected the anesthesia I squeezed her little hand so tight but she hung in there with me. The whole team were amazing and I’m happy to say I have found my new dental family, make them yours.

Honestly the best dental care I’ve EVER had. Angela and Laura were so knowledgeable, kind, considerate and just so fun to be around. I’ve never used the word “fun” to describe a dental experience, but they make it as close to fun as you can hope for. Angela taught me how to floss! I never knew there was a right way to do it and I’m so grateful for her time. Laura made sure every step of the way was explained and she was so mindful of my comfort. Dr. Nelson was so joyful and thorough too and he respected and appreciated his staff too which is so admirable. The team was so efficient and punctual too which I know is difficult to do in healthcare. They go through expenses with you very transparently so there are no surprise costs. Just all around the best I could have hoped for. I always dread the dentist and this team just makes me feel so cared for. Also the goodie bag with an electric toothbrush and other tools to keep you well were an extraordinary touch. Thank you everyone!

Urbn Dental is a great dentist office. I’m always anxious when visiting this dentist even as an adult. The atmosphere is calming and the staff is kind, as gentle as possible and very informative. My 13 y/o daughter had a wonderful experience as well. No bright light glaring in your face, new X-ray technology so you’re not biting down onto that uncomfortable square cutting into your jaw. I would recommend them to anyone. Dr. Nelson, along with Angela and the rest of the office, 5 stars all around.

Where to start? I absolutely love URBN Dental, from the front desk staff, hygienist, and dr. Their office is clean, the staff is friendly and makes you comfortable. I’m 31 years old and have a lot of work that needs to me done on my teeth, that’s another story. With that being said, no one made me feel embarrassed or ashamed about my condition, instead they have vowed to help me and educate me along the way. I found URBN by way of Zoc Doc, the reviews were great and thought I’d give it a try myself. It was my first time at this place today. I booked an appointment via Zocdoc and got a call shortly after. They sent the new patient paperwork and the process was very smooth. They also made sure to verify my insurance before I got there which was very convenient. I had to call and reschedule and they were very nice about it. The day prior to appointment, the check in appointments were super clear and they even texted me the address. The one thing I really liked about this place was that they showed me actual pictures of my teeth (not just x-rays) and took lots of time to explain everything. They are also open on Saturdays which is awesome. The goody bag was an extra treat. Will definitely continue going.

This place is absolutely wonderful! Everyone is so warm and welcoming, knowledgeable, and professional. I had always been hesitant about going to the dentist since I was a little kid, mainly because of the dentists and dental hygienists I had interacted with never made me feel comfortable. I would go and leave, gaining no help about how to fix my oral hygiene routine and just get stuck in a routine I thought I kinda worked. Even though I am a new patient here, the people at URBN Dental Uptown have already eased my hesitations. From the technology used, the arrangement of the business, and the way they conduct their appointments, I would absolutely recommend people to go here.

The staff explained everything in detail, discussed different treatment options, and worked with my financial situation. I felt understood and like they were working with me.

Having paid off several dentists’ student loans in the past, this place rocks. Not only were they efficient, hands on, they also spent so much time with educating me about different aspects of dental hygiene. That bit was unnerving as at the age of 40, my previous dentists had never told me any of these things.This is the place to be and I will be a permanent customer.

I get extremely nervous during dental visits and the staff made me feel completely comfortable. They even lower the A/C even when it was already freezing because I was hot due to nerves. I went to a dentist in Houston a month before I visited them and them had my first visit with them today and what a completely different experience it was. First off the facility is beautiful and super clean. Second the staff was very friendly from the moment I walked it till the moment I left. The most professional and most friendly was the dental hygienist Angela, she was genuine and at times had funny conversations and she made the whole experience enjoyable and informative.

I’ve been coming here for the last year or so and have been extremely pleased with the treatment I’ve gotten — both from the front office staff (like Ms. Julia) and from the dentists themselves.What I noticed immediately upon my first visit—aside from how sleek and clean and modern the office itself was—was that everyone staffing this office is female, which translates to an experience of somewhat “maternal” care; I am someone who needs a mother-figure to stay on me to ensure this or that is done, and I had been slacking in certain areas that were shown to me here.Further, it is important for me to highlight the fact that the staff here caught certain issues that previous dental offices either did not catch, or did not care to bring to my attention — more interested in signing me up for this or that service. The staff at URBN offer services you can sign up for, but they’re also clearly interested in doing what’s right for you, and ensuring you do it too.I came here initially because of the strong online reviews, and have seen myself that they are entirely accurate and justified.

The place itself gives off a very homey and comfortable vibe as well as just looking very aesthetically pleasing. I used to dread going to the dentist because I have sensitive teeth and usually the dentist didn’t seem to care much. Here they put in the extra time just to make me feel more comfortable. I never feel rushed and I always feel they are looking out for my best interest! I 100/10 recommend this place for the best dentistry service and results! (p.s. I really appreciate that I was in and out within an hour, and never had to wait. Highly recommend this office for your dental needs!

So it has been a while since a dentist has been in my mouth. This location is literally 5 minutes away from me and since I am usually late or close to it I booked my over due cleaning with Urbn dental! Staff was super friendly. Thorough! Found 2 cavities that I had scheduled to be filled for today. They were fast which is great. I am UT nursing student soon to graduate and time is study for me, lol. Very light hands. I have a small mouth but they did the damn thing! Mandatory mask. They give you a nice spray of hand sanitizer before you go back. See y’all in 6 months!!
